Has Bitcoin met your expectations from the time you bought your Bitcoin till now

Yes, I always amaze with what Bitcoin reach and that has exceeded my expectations especially for what already happened. Bitcoin has beyond many people expectation because when they invest in Bitcoin, they don't thinks that Bitcoin finally can reach the new ATH at $75k.

This can makes them wants to invest more in Bitcoin because they think that they can still do that. But this can make people greed because of wanting to make a big profit in a short term. Hopefully, they will not forget that reaching the next high price still need time.

My question to you is when you look back and see how far you have come in your Bitcoin journey and based on your reason for buying your first bitcoin , would you say that Bitcoin has met or exceeded your expectations?

My expectation was kind of unrealistic at the beginning, that was because i did not understand BTC well enough, i thought it was a get rich quick scheme. However, now that i fully understand what BTC is, and the reason why Satoshi created it, i would say it has exceeded all my expectations, i don't regret getting involved with BTC, through it i have learnt a lot about security, privacy, anonymity and finance too, it has been great.

I wouldn't say it has exceed my expectations but Bitcoin has met some of my expectations in terms of what I used my profit to archive. Just like this morning when the price hit $75, 400, I just looked at my portfolio and smiled because I don't regret holding just Bitcoin alone as my primary asset. I am impressed.

Did way more than what I could have imagined it would, totally changed my life for better and I am very happy. However, one thing that is a problem is that it can't keep growing at this rate, which means that I am quite upset I couldn't invest more. Plenty of people I know invested a lot, but I had so many debts in life, and in multiple different years as well, so I had to just watch other people make profit while I was contempt with small returns.

This is why I believe that we are not going to get anything good from this, will not be all that great because I knew that it would go up, and I couldn't invest because I lacked capital, and now it can't grow that much anymore and I can't make that kind of profit ever again.

I have shared my story many times about the reason why I became involved in cryptocurrency and in summary it's in the user name I have. I would say that since the time I started taking cryptocurrency more seriously, I did not expect the kind of growth that I have seen in my life currently from the knowledge I have gained from investments in cryptocurrency and about positioning myself properly for opportunities. I am very grateful today and always. The most Recent expectation I had is for Bitcoin to set a new all time high with this US election and I can say I was not disappointed. That expectation has been met, I will set a new one.

I have a financial problem as of now but I will soon accumulate bitcoin for holding. Before when I have, Bitcoin met my expectation which I was able to earn money which I used for payment for connecting electricity. The reason why there's no electricity here is because I am living in mountain side which there's no post to request tap of electricity. As of now, there electricity post here so bitcoin really helped me a lot before. For now, I hope bitcoin will met my expectation this year (I hope).

Definitely exceeded it. When I bought my first coins I paid under $1k and I knew it was going to be much bigger than it was at the time, but I was looking at $5k, maybe $10k if it does really good, after a few years, but a year later it was going to $20k and I was still holding, so I thought to myself -shit, this is a goose that lies golden eggs. I'm not selling that. I'm just going to sell the eggs and that's what I've been doing for almost 10 years now.

Definitely yes, with bitcoin, many of my heart desired expectations have been met, i have seen lots of opportunities regarding the adoption and us of bitcoin in many ways, it offers the freedom i need, financial trust in which i deserve, the decentralized nature of handling finances, security and privacy also can be seen as part of the benefits from bitcoin, while some of us have made a reasonable amount of profits from bitcoin adoption.

I wasn’t expecting much at first, but seeing how bullish everyone was in the forums, I just went along with the hype. Since I stayed active here, Bitcoin helped me dive into the whole crypto market, and it really opened my eyes to all the opportunities out there. Most of my investments are in Bitcoin, but I can't deny that I made some good profits with altcoins back then too - it just boosted my gains to levels I never imagined before getting into Bitcoin.

Did you want to get your bags off after your first rally for BTC, or did you never even have such a thought?

No, this isn't his first rally but as a newbie, yeah, it is always best to get off our bags, to experience what it is like earning a decent profit after some time. I think it is okay to spoil it here and I would say the feeling is superb. It is like all of our hard work have paid off. Explaining it all alone here won't be enough though, so they are free to experience it all by their selves for real. It is impossible if one won't have a thought of selling their bags because for what they are investing with then? It doesn't make sense to just buy and hold, buy and hold forever. It would be better if we just gave our money away in the charity. That way, those people who are in need can make use of it.

So far I am satisfied with what bitcoin has given me because even though my expectations are actually still higher than this especially with my goal which will indeed continue to hold bitcoin for the next few years but of course when talking about satisfaction of course I am happy.

Not that I am satisfied and want to stop but I am satisfied with my choice that has been taken since a few years ago is really the right choice even though there are several times I think further whether my choice is right or not but when looking at the condition of bitcoin now of course I will not think again to believe that for now my choice is really right to be in bitcoin.

But in this case even though I am satisfied with the performance but my target is still not fulfilled so I am happy because more than half of my target is achieved just waiting for the continuation again for bitcoin and I will still continue to wait for it.

This is literally giving me the vibes of 'sky is the limit'. And witnessing that will depend on how firm I am going to hold BTC. My bad experience, or bad decision that I've done was during 2021 and for the past years that I have to sell. It did more than meet my expectations, it definitely exceeded it, whenever I think that bitcoin is supposed to not go up, it suddenly goes up in price and makes me feel dumber by day each time I decide to doubt it and now here we are benefiting from bitcoin and getting all this money that would've taken me years to even get if it wasn't for me taking that risk when I was younger and thank Satoshi and myself that the leap of faith paid off big time. I wanted bitcoin to become popular among the masses and disrupt the current economic states - it has done that to some extent, it became more popular than a disruptor which is fine by me. It's growth among masses is slow but consistent growth and being made aware about it is our goal.

For those who bought bitcoin for the price, indeed their expectations have been exceeded even though prices will come back down again. The cycle of high and low will continue like it always has. The impact of political news on bitcoin is very evident at present. Now its just a matter of time to see how policies in the US are changed to affect the rest of the world.

I wasn’t expecting too much, so I can say I still got what I wanted. Plus, I already knew we can’t manipulate the market—just because we predict it’ll go up at a certain time doesn’t mean it actually will. The truth is, we have no idea when that’ll happen. Even if some people say the price could hit $100k before the end of the year, there’s no guarantee we’ll see it. So, I’d rather not think about it too much because it just adds pressure. As many say, investing takes time to see real profits—and that’s exactly how it works. That is why, if we are impatient, this place is not the right place for us.

Bitcoin have exceeded my expectations, because I started my bitcoin journey on the last week of November 2022. I was able to accumulate bitcoin at 16k+ price which was the bottom line of the bear market, and since that time till now, I have being buying to increase my bitcoin stash. With the current price of bitcoin, it shows that my portfolio is in good profit. Assuming it wasn't an investment like bitcoin, I don't see any other investment that I would have started with the amount that I used to start my bitcoin investment.

Bitcoin has pumped higher than I expected and I have already sold $75000. At the time of my bitcoin holding the price was 63 thousand dollars but now the price has risen to more than 12000 dollars so I have sold my holdings and stopped myself from buying bitcoins for now. But now it is quite difficult to predict whether the market will increase or dump, so I have stopped myself from buying bitcoins for the time being. However, if Bitcoin goes into a dumping situation again in 2025, I will definitely buy at a suitable price and hold again.
