Lost went something like this:
Season 1: Fucking awesome.
Season 2: More or less still fucking awesome.
Season 3: Still decent but becoming less awesome.
Season 4: What the fuck is this bullshit thanks for taking a big giant SHIT on what could have been a great show. Now we're time traveling and the island moves and what the fucking fuck is this shit?
Season 5: Back to fairly awesome, if you made it this far
Season 6: Totally fucking awesome with only 1 or 2 meh/filler episodes.... UNTIL THE VERY END WHICH ABSOLUTELY SUCKED DONKEY DICK. Fuck you and suck my dog's balls for fucking ruining one of the greatest shows ever with a lame ass pathetic shitty fucking cop-out ending.
Ha, I stopped watching after the second season. I would've been interested in watching it all again, but not after what I've continually heard from people about none of the questions being answered. |

I watched the first 3 seasons back to back within a couple weeks. ( I didn't start watching the show at all until it was in like the 3rd season already.) But in season 4 I just got so turned off to the whole time bullshit and some other ridiculousness so I stopped watching and left it alone for a couple years. Then I heard about the final season and I decided to give it another shot, so I powered through the rest of season shit, er, I mean season 4, and watched 5 and then 6. 5 was awesome and 6 was awesome until the end which was so fucking retarded it kind of ruined the whole thing.

I watched Orange is the New Black. It is pretty funny...it could have used some better looking chicks though... 2nd season should be interesting. I feel like it is one of those shows that I could definitely watch the whole season, but wouldn't be super disappointed if I missed it.. |

We have gotten some good recommendations from the Movie Thread... let's get it started for TV Series, as I think a lot of series now are just as good or even better than some of the movies coming out...
The ones that I am following right now are:
Banshee - Cinemax
True Detective - HBO
Shameless - Showtime
From Dusk Til Dawn (The Series) - Netflix Canada
House of Cards - Netflix
Vice - HBO

I'm gonna throw Trailer Park Boys into the mix here. They just released their newest movie into theater. Trailer Park Boys: Don't legalize it. Hilarious movie and they are set to release season 8 onto Netflix. They stopped doing the series a few years back but they decided to come back for a couple more seasons at least. Just to name a few...(in no particular order) Fargo (which just came out is surprisingly very good) on FX. Homeland (on Showtime) is good Angry Boys (HBO or a different Channel in Australia or UK), is really funny Game of Thrones (on HBO) is good if you like that kind of fictional show Silicon Valley (on HBO) is decent just because it gives a funny but yet authentiv view of the difficulties in startup businesses The Americans (on FX) is a pretty good show about Russian KGB operating in United States |

after boardwalk empire ends next season, i will only have 1 more "top tier, holy fucking shit" type show left.. game of thrones. just lost breaking bad months ago... the greatest show of all fucking time. now i'm down to game of thrones, and i hear it gets boring after this season.

What would you give it on a scale of 1-10? i'd say about a 8 .5/10. it's a great show, very complicated. there's so much that you have to read in between the lines, because the characters are always speaking in metaphors. it's a nice brainfuck. i also like period pieces like this.. feels like a different world. i liked seasons 1-3, but the quality kinda went down last season.. though not by much. season 4 was still ridiculously good. for scaling, i'd rate game of thrones 9.5/10 and breaking bad 10/10. |
