Mixing holidays with gambling how do you feel

The holiday's is around the corner and is going to be a long one most especially for those remote workers, freelancer and CEO who have control of their time and can space out enough to go on holidays this season, infact to some, this summer holidays is a tradition for them, so for that there is no missing at this period of the year.

Now the thing that have being bordering me this season is, how to combine the holidays with gambling, since to most of us here gambling is somewhat a way of life for us, and we often gamble as much as possible and we all know how sensitive gambling is and how bad it is to mix gambling with other activities, so I want to put this question to the house.

What will you rather do this holiday.
1: Avoid gambling until after the holidays?
2: make out time within the holiday to gamble a bit?

Let's take a vacation without gambling without activities related to financial stress and other activities, let us be entertaining with the family wholeheartedly without burdening the mind with many things out there and more focused on time with the family to have fun.

I once heard people talking here when he was on vacation and then he gambled and lost made his vacation unpleasant and made them lose their happy time because their races changed when they suffered losses, so avoid it for the time.

Unfortunately, we do not have experience with long vacations related to summer. If I had this kind of experience, I would not hesitate to share my experiences and stories. As for vacations, I do not have much time for long vacations. At most, only a week, and that is usually the end of year vacation to welcome the new year. But let me answer this question, I think it depends on the vacation concept that we planned in advance. Let's say I only have a short vacation, but I can still enjoy it with my family. Of course, every vacation has different moments every year, we will try to maximize it as best we can. If the vacation is only celebrated with family, let alone without traveling, of course we have time if we want to gamble. Or, let's say we are on vacation with the theme of visiting a tourist attraction with a certain time. Of course, we don't have much time to gamble, except for visiting a gambling place. If you have planned to visit a place for a vacation and also to visit a casino, you should have allocated funds that are ready to be used. how much is your vacation fund and also how much money will you spend to play at the casino?
it's just that there might be a situation where we forget the allocation if we enjoy the game. especially with the experience in a big casino that we rarely do. if we overdo it and lose control, we may lose our vacation funds.

If you want to go on vacation with your family, I think it's better to just enjoy the vacation. put aside our desire to gamble first.

For me, I will avoid because most of the time during my holidays is I am drunk, I expect liquors are everywhere every holiday. Since we all know what's the effect of alcohol plus gambling, it's not good. I already tried before while I drink liquors and doing gambling on my phone at the same time, I just keep losing and sometimes I can't control my bet size, it's like I am more greedy.

I think this holiday is something that comes once in a year, their are some people we meet at this time every year. I think it will be a busy holiday merrying with family and friends, it will be better to just concentrate we friends and family. Gambling this period can be of a distractions,  this is a memorable holiday that people needs to enjoy their time and have fun with their family and friends. For me because of too much activities I don't think I'll even have that time for gambling.

Since it's just an assumption, gambling is not my hubby, and I don't consider it one either, and also I'm one of many who just gamble with a little amount, which can't even be easily noticed when removed from my earnings, which is why I don't see a big deal in it mixing it with holidays, and as a remote worker, even in holidays, my earnings won't reduce since it have always been my pattern of work, unless my attention is being needed in the office, which management will totally understand that we are in holiday season.


If there is any part about which I should be worried about, it will be on the line of not giving too much attention to it, gambling more than the time I spend with my family.

I don't try to set myself limits due to holidays. When you need a certain event to help you with your gambling, it means you have a problem, recognize it, and know that you can't limit it at any moment. You need that special day, like Christmas to help you.

When I see a good opportunity to gamble during holidays I will do it, but if I don't feel like it, I won't. The deal is, I'm in control and I'm not an addict. I can stop at any moment and it's not my job, so I can do it in my free time. Holidays are that free time where I have a lot of options available and I can choose from a number of activities.

The fact is that regardless of when we are on holliday or not if we really want to gamble then we can do gambling no matter what So actually it doesn't matter if we want to gamble even though in some cases maybe for some people will spend vacation time such as weekends with their little family but on the other hand of course it is also not all with family because surely on some occasions we need me time for ourselves.

I personally still do that especially on weekends when I always try to gamble at the sportsbook while watching some of my bets being played with the family which in the end this makes the gambling that I do go without taking up a lot of time from the family because I also still get that on the holliday that I do and this always happens on every weekend I do.

Actually, simply, when gambling, just gamble, when it's a holiday, just hold it. I personally want a really wide range of quality time with my family. So I will let go of gambling for a while, especially when I'm with my family. And that's not a big deal. Because if you're on a break and have free time in between breaks, if you really want to gamble, just do it.

But being responsible means that whatever the result is, it won't affect your mood when you're spending quality time with your family, because that will make the holiday atmosphere bad and make your family, especially your children, disappointed.

Both of you are right because vacation helps us to stay away from our daily routine for a while and get relaxation and enjoy our quality time with our beloved one. We don't want to ruin our vacation with them by playing gambling because gambling can make them lose their money and once that is happen, our mood will change and effect to our emotion. Activities that are carried out every day of course sometimes feel boring even though we like it, I used to work in a coffee shop where it was a job that I really wanted and of course I liked it but as time went on I felt bored and took time to take a vacation away from the same activities with the aim of refreshing my brain. Previously I myself had been aggressive in gambling where I didn't think at all about the risk of losing more because what I did was keep betting non-stop before getting the win I wanted, even though now I can control myself but I myself will not do it if I am going on vacation, maybe it could make me aggressive again so prevention is better than cure.

Yes, that is our reason to vacation to leave our daily routine and relax to refresh our minds so we can release our stress or other things. I also feels that vacation is necessary for someone not just because he works or not but with vacation, we can forget our daily routine for a while and who knows, we can more ideas that will useful and help us to do something that better for us. But if we decide to keep playing gambling in our vacation, we may not enjoy our vacation especially when we lose our money because we may want to recover our losses by playing gambling longer. That will make us difficult to thinks clear about what we will do and yes, we may become aggressive playing gambling.

People can decide to make gambling a part of their holiday activities. If someone is spending a holiday in Las Vegas or Macau, visiting some physical casinos could be an exciting experience. It could only be a chaotic experience if you gamble more than you can afford to lose. Gambling with friends on a beach while playing beach soccer or volleyball could also be entertaining. It will be fun to showcase your soccer skills and win a few bucks that will be spent on drinks with friends. Gambling can be done and enjoyed anytime any day as long as we are gambling responsibly.

I don't see anything wrong with playing during holidays, this time can be for someone when you can take a break from work and watch the game and place a bet. I don't like to separate time into working time and time when I can rest, I decide when to work and when to rest, so for me it's easier, I can work on weekends, and I can afford to rest on weekdays if I want, so for me holidays are not something special, and if I want to make a few bets, I will do it.

Base on my experience if you are in a vacation that has a lot of activity I do not recommend playing gambling reason why is you get easily distracted through out your vacation, the goal is to take a rest and relax and do expect that playing gambling might bring this into you because we know once you experience a lose this could change your mood and emotions and imagine if this is consecutive lose so rather enjoy your vacation and do playing gambling after your vacation. Gambling is just right there but your vacation is limited so why not enjoy it for a while.
