I had a "forgotten" account at dogechain.info that I was only able to access these days, but it closed its Wallet services in June, now I can't make another direct transfer to another Dogecoin address.
They only provided me with the private Key and asked me to use it somewhere else... is it possible to make the transfer with just the private Key? Or is it over?

The private key is really all you need. All you have to do is import it into another type of wallet and you will have full access to your coins.

Don't fall into any scam. Don't trust anyone with the private key.

Download authentic wallet from the official website link and import your private key. You are all set to transfer fund.

It's not over yet, mate . Transfers can't be made with private key, but private key is your way to access the Dogecoin (DOGE) assets you previously owned. You can browse to find a wallet that supports importing Dogecoin private key, and don't forget @Little Mouse's advice, because you might fall into a scam.

Now you can access to your dogechain.info wallet again till 31 December 2024. they reopened the wallet service now.

there are two kinds of keys actually in old days.

1. the raw private key. it start with Q or other number+ letters. You can use this on dogecoin core wallet. just import and do a rescan. the address will show on core wallet. then you control the dogecoin again. Dont use most online tools to move your coin. when you paste your private key, they steal your coin. many clients of us suffer from that. they steal your coin with scripts. so, you are even not sure who steal your coin.

2. in old days, Dogechain allow you export a backup, which is encrypted by the password. which start with: salt(+...........==)
can only be used on dogechain.info wallet before. but now there is no such option. have to do coding work on it to try to recover the Raw private key to control your doge.
