Well it is something that was not always like this. When I was younger we would help someone if they were in trouble not want to take a picture or make a video.

I do not like it when this does happen in the schools. If there is a fight between young students I do not like it when there is other children taking out their phones. And only they do this to get a good picture or video for the internet to watch it

Social media is indirectly contributing heavily in the on going wrong approach to life, which at last yield positive or negative results in once attitude towards handling Daily situations encountered. Some situations ends up taking life, properties and causing unforgivable scenes as a result of getting detailed pictures and videos of a unexpected occurance instead of rendering profitable help to the affected person.

I still can not forget when I was still in secondary school many years back, as at then junior students must be submissive to the senior students but mine was different because I believed in fighting for supremacy instead of taking it on merit. So that faithful day while having misunderstanding with my seniors, a friends who was supposed to calm the situation was busy taking videos for reference purpose and we ended up messing up each other which lead to some days suspension.

Frankly speaking I have seen people in several occassions where an accident happens they will gather around And will be making videos And snaping instead of helping the people or even atleast givie  them first aid assistance or even call some government agencies for emergency assistance But they will rather Choose to snap pictures , shout , search the victim’s Pocket to steal their money And all that .

My question here is , will such videos And pictures save people’s life ? So lets enligten ourselves on this , And what could be the best solution To this? Or will the pictures or videos serve as first aid To the victims ?
You have raised a very important point. When an accident happens, video or photography does not save lives, only quick action helps. Immediate help is more important at that moment. At this time, it is more important to contact the emergency services rather than standing around unnecessarily taking photos or videos in the crowd. This often happens due to the bystander effect, where everyone assumes that someone else will take action. There are many dishonest people who take advantage of an accident to steal money or emergency equipment from the victim or people in the crowd nearby, which is really a bad thing. The best solution is to provide primary medical care to the person and take the victim to the hospital as soon as possible.

This is a complicated issue in our society today, many reasons is involved I will speak based on experienced, our society today don't rewards people with honest character, instead pay them with evil. I have seen, a fatal accident that a man was almost sent to prison, beat near death just to help as people could not believe his not the person that hit the victim, some case involved taking responsibility if it's some that required payment of money before rendering the victim treatment as our hospital today demand money before taking Care of patients, social media benefits can not be undermine as many youths concerned is to gain followers of current happening around them.

Most cases that I see, people decide to make videos and take snaps when they see an accident because they don’t have any means to help. They just want to send the information on social media so that the victims may get help there, or for evidence purposes  like showing what really caused the accident, so that others can learn from the mistakes made. Even in those cases, there will always be some people trying to help, and others who will be making videos or taking pictures for evidence. By the way, people are not the same, so their ways of thinking are different; and with that, their actions will also be different in any situation.

Well I would not say that it's really bad someone snapping pictures of the accident victim and post because it will as well helps to pass information very fast, but were i didn't like it is when they victim is in pain and needed some help or the victim is dying and what you are busy doing is searching their pocket and taking pictures instead of doing the best of your help to save the life, that is the one i hate so much, because life first before any other thing, and the most painful ones is stealing from the accident victim, someone you see lying lifeless and you have the mind to steal from such people, that simple means if that person eventually dies the criminal have contributed to the person's death..

And this bad behavior are very common in our country Nigeria we prefer get more likes and views on our Facebook, messenger, tiktok and other social media other than helping a victim, and that mentality is very bad, because life is more important than getting likes and views, even though we know that trying to help a victim is not really favourable sometimes due to the way our security personnels use to act sometimes.. but that should not stop us from helping especially when it is something that has to do with life..

Sometimes, people act to take photos of accident victims instead of helping them. It may be because they don’t know any other way to help the person or people involved in the accident. So, they decide to take pictures and share the information online to raise awareness or gather evidence before helping the victim. This can sometimes be useful, because when things turn around later, there may be evidence to prove what really happened.

I once heard a story about a thief who stabbed someone with a knife. When another person tried to help the victim, some other people arrived and began an investigation. Unfortunately, the matter dragged on for a long time because they suspected that the person who tried to help was actually the one who attacked, as the person have death and it have not any evidence to back it up.
