Honestly I am not aware of this exchange bitpie, if you have funds on that exchange how sure you are it is legit and your funds are safe from them. Cause judging from your last statement. You are willing to pay a huge commission means your funds on that market is way bigger.

A $100 is not bad compensation if someone help you but if you can fix yourself.

You lost BITHD is it some kind of gasfee that doesn't transfer assets?
Just heard about BITPIE and it seems like it's just like any other wallet.
Like it's rare that people use BITPIE you mean wallets or exchanges (I don't know this) are not that popular.

But quick lookup, BITHD is a hardware wallet, no? both seem to provide non-custodial wallet. Do you remember having a backup? particularly a list of words or a private key? if so, you could use them to import to another wallet.

Indeed it is, the company even had an ANN right here on the forum[1]. And you are also correct, because BitPie automatically informs the user on their first login about the seed phrases of their wallet[2]. By taking a look at their support documentation for BITHD[3] the only option that OP has is to retrieve his seed phrase and then proceed to recover them to a wallet of his choosing.

If you have your wallet backups, you can import the wallet mnemonic seed to another wallet with same BIP, on another device, and move your fund.

If you did not make any wallet backup, and now you don't have any backup to use, you lose that wallet, you lost fund in that wallet. You have to accept this fact, this loss and move on, with your own lesson that making a wallet back up is most important in cryptocurrency.

Look I don't know about this wallet or exchange, but I must give you guidelines.
If you have your money in exchange then fine you can rest your password, maybe within 24-48hrs you would have access back. But if your funds is in a wallet that has seed phrase then it's better not to stress anyone here because only the seed phrase key would be used to access the wallet. However, I can't see this rewards to be something very bad rather it looks like trying to fish people into your game. Those who doesn't have such amount would quickly jump to accept such offer to help you out but I believe at the ends it would be a reversed case, so, anyone helping should be extremely cautious as scammer could used any way to lure people into their scamming scheme.

After doing a search on Google, I found that BITHD is a hardware wallet and according to Medium article that I read, it seems that the wallet is somehow a open source one. When I tried to visit the official link of BITHD, the site didn't load at all and give some type of error.

OP, if you have seed phrase of your wallet then you might import that seed phrase to another cold wallet and that way you'll be able to access your coins once again, but if you do not have the seed phrase then it would be hard or impossible to get your coins again.
