definitely, small capital means absolutely nothing on risk management, leverage is like risk adjusting button, set it higher, you're exposed to more risk and the margin used is like the second risk adjusting button as well, high leverage + really low margin = low risk. nobody with $2000 account gonna worry about a position that's only using 0.5$ margin and 100x leverage with 300% unrealized PnL loss. it's basic math.
The liquidation risk is always same for any amount. the token or coin price will drop by percentage so if you use big amount for trading then your loss amount will higher and if you use small amount for trading then your loss amount will lower. but in the future trading if you use high leverage in small amount for quick handsome profit then here your liquidation risk will higher but if you use same leverage then liquidation risk will definitely same always
high leverage really suits well for people who did TA, they always trade based on chart so they know what the market in short term gonna be.
as for long winded investment, futures is just plain bad because we need to mantain funding rate, a big flash dip like the one that has happened recently could easily wipe out our entire portfolio and all.
