Congratulation Todays Winner


I placed 4th place today , today was my first prize winning match on 1win poker tournament as well as the longest poker tournament I've played so far. Whyamihere showed extra ordiniary resilence today. He and me both was in same table , he survived couple of near death rounds and finally scored first. It was really amazing to watch. Me ,Wikipedia01 and whyamihere were competing who can get 3rd or 4th place. But finally I could not hold it. This was so much fun for playing the tournament. Thanks AB de Royse777 for hosting such great tournaments on our forum.

This will be 36 week in row. Lets give us sometime to process this information  , it means $36000 worth of sponsorship, 1win has done exclusively for this community poker event. Constant efforts by Royse to conduct this poker event with high spirit deserves much more recognition, IMO. Incase you don't know he does not have motivation for prizes also as he never take his personal winnings from 1win.

Lately my poker game has been very bad, I can't control my emotions, always making rash actions, my skills have dropped drastically because of emotions that I can't control, but not only that, I saw that 1win participants reached 52 participants, this is the most participants I have ever participated in, it will definitely take a long time, I suggest speeding up the blind time to save time

Same with me. I think my last poker win was back in June or July, I haven’t won any of these tournaments since, mostly because of the same decisions. I always put too much trust in my cards, even if it’s just a high card ace. And yeah emotions are big factor to me too and that’s why I keep losing in recent tournaments.

Also the late schedule of this tournamen affects my decision making; knowing that the tournament could last 3+ hours, I tend to go allin whenever I have two pairs, and  usually end up against players with stronger hands.

I guess many of us already suggested speeding up the blind time many times already, but I guess Royse isn’t considering that change.

Given the increasing number participants, I would like to suggest that AB de Royse777 speed up the blind times. The cash prize pool should also be split into several parts, rather than just 1-5 cash prizes.

I like this suggestion, though I am more into making prizes even less top heavy. 15 places paid should be an ideal spot with 50+ people. I know 1win is not making any money out of this but may be increasing deposit and wagering requirement to at least $20 and increasing the prize pool by $500 more should be considered.
I know how much effort it takes to conduct these tournaments in a regular manner so kudos to all you are doing, Royse.

This is an interesting discussion. I am not around in the 1Win tournaments, but when you bring up the increased deposit and wagering requirements, we should not forget that the sponsors don't tell us how to wager it. Casinopunkz is different because they only have slots. But other sponsors don't care how the deposits are wagered and that is literally a free buy in if someone doesn't want to take any risk. I usually take risk because it's fun, but on most platforms participants can just roll the dice. I think is therefore tough to ask for higher sponsorships based on the deposit amounts.

As for Royse not listening, I can only agree. He always attacks me in poker tournaments and I tell him to stop! No, jokes aside, keeping up all the sponsorships is a good amount of work, same counts for @memehunter of course.

Agree - especially in bounty tournaments. Because there, the difference between first and second place can often be more than twofold. That’s way too much.

A much needed modification to the 1win tournament. Honestly I was not expecting this to be done that soon. Now we will see some more players for sure. 20 places are whooping 40% ITM lol (considering 50 players on average), which makes it super profitable to play.
last time I just threw my chip lead as I was in sleep mode and it might take another 2 hours to get to final 5 so I just handed over my stack. If this structure was there at that time, I could have just made some coffee and bluffed my way through the top place lol.

Finally, a better reward structure that actually matters for those finishing in the 6th–10th places. The previous 37 rounds of prizes for 6th–10th were pretty useless unless you managed to meet the x35 wagering requirement. On top of that, you also needed to have your own balance to fulfill the wagering requirement, since freespin winnings alone didn’t count or use until the wagering condition was met.

Now, grinding for 2 hours to win $50 feels more worth it. Hopefully, the prizes for 1st–10th place only require 1x wager like before for 1st-5th place.

I gave up on that when I tried to register as well, it's probably a geo-blocking thing and only available to certain regions. It's best to try the other mode of registration that Royse shared in the OP or if you're viewing the telegram pinned message as it's more convenient to use. On my side it says it's violate telegram's TOS.

It will the 1x wager I am sure (nothing else make sense). Usually the term 'cash' means no wagering requirement at all. These vouchers should be called bonus codes with 1x wagering requirements (I am doing the same in every tournament except where prizes are paid directly in the personal wallets).
I am not complaining in any sense as I know 1x wagering is nothing and most probably in line with the casino's default policies to process any cashout after 1x (industry standard) but it would be better to not call it 'cash'. 
Alos since the money (voucher codes) is coming from Caisno's side, hence AML policy is out of question.
