Friend sent me BTC from his wallet - 14 days still not received shows "INVALID"

I need urgent assistance regarding my transaction.

Support keeps replying with useless answers so I hope to find my answer here.

So on 1st of December my friend made a transaction FROM his Trust Wallet to my Stake wallet.

FROM WALLET (Trust Wallet) : bc1qyxcfeez3ffkh6782r5c6xqy98h7srd7ffgzrx6

TO STAKE : bc1qerqps5h8c68dsnrydpw2qfa032vjd40elzc7c7

TXID: 629c52bae7b45be171e59d527465c1386e894f5ea71e20b27493fc4adb67b69c

It also shows “Invalid” which is really weird.

You said the transaction was made by a friend. Does this mean you know the sender? Or he was a random stranger on the internet?

What your friend did, is the digital equivalent of saying he's going to pay you €120, showing you the money, and then giving it to someone else. "Support" can't help you. You should talk to your friend.

This is the first time I’ve experienced something like this. He still claims that he didn’t receive anything back and doesn’t have my funds.

The transaction wasn't invalid when your friend the scammer broadcasted it. The transaction was valid, but unconfirmed and was displayed as pending in your wallet.
The sender made another transaction using the same coin and made the transaction you received invalid.

It's quite simple: the TXID you posted doesn't exist. But: you're making it complicated by reusing the same address: on December 1, it received 2 transactions. I can't know who sent them.

Also: "Trust Wallet" should not be trusted, there are many topics complaining about it. The screenshot shows a lot of BS: there is no "gas" in Bitcoin. There are also no "Inscriptions" in Bitcoin, that's just something someone made up to get money from gullible people. There are only on-chain Bitcoin transactions.

To make things easier in the future:

• Don't accept unconfirmated transactions as payment.
• Use your own wallet.
• Use a new Bitcoin address for each payment.

The 0.00082452 BTC you see there is the current balance of the address he sent the fund from. The scammer have made many other transactions and the balance being different doesn't mean he is telling the truth.

As I said, the scammer replaced the transaction which was sent to you with another one and made it invalid. In simple words, he didn't send you any fund.

It's quite simple: the TXID you posted doesn't exist.

Blockchain.com still has that invalid transaction.

Assuming he will give you the correct seed phrase and he won't empty the wallet before sending you the seed phrase, you will have access to 0.00082452 BTC.

Everything he tells you is complete nonsense. There is no such thing as "BTC that are inscription" and you got scammed.

If someone cheats on you once, there's a good chance they'll do it again - and the fact that this is happening to you is unfortunately mostly your fault. I would be very careful with everything that happens next, because if someone wants to give you something as confidential as seed words, they can later claim that you stole their coins that way.

You said he tricked you in the past and this [the bold part] from him confirms that he scammed you. I am assuming you don't know him personally but someone you know from internet.

You made a mistake by trusting someone who tricked you in the past but it's okay while don't fall for any more bullshit stories and ask him to pay whatever the money he owes you in the right way means it should be confirmed atleast once to consider that you received the funds into your wallet until that the unconfirmed funds can be spent on another TX that will make the previous (your TX) invalid.

If you call someone who scammed you multiple times a friend, I wonder what it would take for someone to become your foe?
Did you give this person something and this was supposed to be the payment for it?

Be careful about what this friend of yours does next. He might send you a bullshit seed in an infected file or instruct you to download a fake wallet that could infect your device with malware.
