I'm not sure how technically possible it is, but it would be good to have the possibility.
Is there a way to monitor balances on change addresses?
They are found in every transaction, Bitcoin is definitely in the same wallet, but by checking the "default" BTC address, you cannot see precisely the balance of that wallet because part of it is on change addresses.

I guess this is possible if the one with @Pmalek suggestions is added — using public keys for wallet address notification. Since it could also check the balance in the change address using API or maybe just existing libraries. Though i don't have any idea how it can be implemented yet but still possible 😅

I don't think the bot is/was down. I have been getting all the incoming and outgoing transaction notifications, the last one was from 20th January. Working without any issue from my side.

Yes, the Bot is not down. I can still receive some notifications, too. This is probably some API error that I need to fix to avoid such an error in the future. It is just that I will need to check the code first to see where the problem is.

Hey PX-Z I just came across this now since I don't regularly visit this section that much, sincerely I am impressed with this at least one can monitor their transaction even without opening their wallets. Though I often receive updates immediately I am being paid through my Electrum wallet but I think that has to be when the app is on active mode, like it's running. But this notifier can help keep one on track when they receive payment.

I received some usdt on 25th march but there was no notification for incoming transaction. Later that day, I sent that same amount from my address to another address, but this time, I received the notification for outgoing transaction. Weird stuff going on..

Btw the sender address is Legacy and the receiver one is Bech32. If you need the specific addresses, I can send it to you in PM.

Yes, there's something wrong on the bot for not having a notification for every transaction, this is an api issue that i need to resolve.

However, the bot doesn't accept USDT address, maybe you are trying to imply Bitcoin instead of USDT. Also, the kind of address is not an issue, because taproot is also compatible for this bot.

Sorry it was a mistake. Yes, the transaction was in bitcoin and the amount was showing in dollar currency. So I accidentally said, usdt, lol (facepalm ) ..even though we use satoshi in our day to day life, when it comes to counting it we always use $.

No, I haven't updated the code yet since I prioritized other projects, but I'm back to working on this one. Just like I mentioned before, the issue is with the API, it’s generating the transaction list incorrectly, showing older transactions instead of the latest ones.

I've added a balance feature that displays confirmed transaction amounts, but it will only be visible when an address is selected. 

Additionally, if a label exists, it will appear in both incoming and outgoing notifications.

You're welcome! But the bot has short comings and need some fix/update. Wallet address with long history of transactions are not getting notifications sometimes, but wallet address with no to below 50 txs are good. Will give an update once its fixed.

I have added this feature on the Wallet address list, BTC balance will show up both confirmed and unconfirmed balance. Both BTC and USD value shows when selected the address, although USD might show zero sometimes due to API limits.

Another update: I’ve switched to a different USD/BTC conversion API, so higher chance that the issue with zero or blank USD values should hopefully be resolved now. Well, fingers crossed! 🤞🏻

I have installed the bot once and added my wallet addresses including the names of the wallets, I will have a look at the bot now and if there is an bug or anything else, I will of course report the error here as well.

the notification of a BTC transaction worked for me and the bot then displayed it on 06 april
unfortunately i had not made any more transactions since then... i will see it again this sunday whether it will continue to work or not
