But there will be a special amount I could lend him. Not more than one my monthly salary definitely. If a close friend needs money now, if there is a fire in his eyes, I wont spoil his life moment. I am sure that my friends are not short-sightedly people with lack of self control or stupid. And the opposite, if there will be a situation when I am in need for money for gambling or something else, I know that friends will help me and cheer for my win. I'm not sure if brave is the right word to use. I see know reason why anyone would want to gamble on borrowed funds, you will not be comfortable doing it compare to if you are using your own money. You will be playing with fear and anxiousness through out the game which you might even run out of lucks. Well, I don't know for others but I can confidently says I don't believe in myself and trust my instinct on gambling because everything that happen isn't on me but the game outcome.

It's called "gambling" for a reason. It's not an investment. Oxford Dictionary defines gamble as "playing a game of chance for money" Emphasis on a GAME OF CHANCE. This means no system or strategy is certain, it's still a game of chances. Even with your own money you still lose more than you win so what makes you think if you borrow you'll be able to win and pay back the loan? That's just a faster route to the bottom.
Nobody should borrow to gamble. I don't even advise people to borrow to invest talk more of a gamble. If you want to start up a business, you should have partners rather than take a loan, so you have no business borrowing to gamble. If you do not have money then don't gamble and even when you have, gamble responsibly.

I had a story when I have borrowed money to friend and he, I cant say disappeared but rather we have started to communicate rarely.
