Is it a smart strategy to re-purchase lottery tickets?

I have read some articles that described repeat lottery wins and claimed that re-purchase of lottery tickets is one of the most profitable strategies if we set ourselves the goal of re-winning.
In general, I must say that the lottery is very different from other gambling games. It differs primarily in low chances of winning. I really don't think so, you can't expect all lotteries will be the same because there's several running lottery machines that promises all time winnings but eventually fails you in the end. As you said, chances is very low that's why don't risk your future to this type of gambling game. This isn't the smart ways to deal with gambling, everything is dependent on how lucky you are with your lucky picked numbers. Once you've hit the jackpot or winning few combination, don't dare repurchasing, instead use that funds for other important expenses in order to enjoy that lucky winnings.

Can't say it's stupid or smart, but the larger the ticket you own, the higher chance you will win. IIRC there was a gambler won lambo from Freebitco, the amount he spent to buy tickets is more higher than the lambo.

Personally I don't want to spend a lot to buy tickets because it's just not my style.

I'm not really trying to win lottery because I win when the reward didn't cover my spending, then I don't see any point of it.

I don't think there's any "strategy" in the lottery. All we can do is pay for the tickets and hope for the best. In small lotteries (few players & small prizes) excess tickets can significantly affect the chances of winning, but in large lotteries (many players & large prizes) even with hundreds of more tickets the chances of winning will not increase much, maybe by 0.00001 every 100 tickets. This is just an example, for accurate odds we need to have more information, mostly everything can be calculated and the chances of winning are very small.

I don't like lotteries, I mostly participate in those lotteries where we can get tickets through wagering or some small tasks. In any case, there is no strategy here... we have all seen how some people win with very few tickets while others with a lot of tickets never manage to win anything. It's all just luck, if you have it, you will win even with a few tickets, if you don't have it, you are wasting money on thousands of tickets in every draw.

do you mean betting on past winning numbers? i honestly do not think it will work i have not seen anyone win 2x from the same winning numbers consecutively there is also no pattern here so i do not know what you expect to follow but i guess if you do not want to stress yourself too much trying to think of a set of numbers to bet on then by all means just copy others but i do not know how much it would have given you an edge

If I understood it correctly, it’s more about consistently buying tickets to increase the chances of winning over time, like buying regularly rather than relying on specific number combinations. What is meant by buying lottery tickets repeatedly with the same number and buying them continuously until the number comes out or buying different numbers every day?
From I personal experience seeing some people who often bet on the lottery must have some special numbers that are believed to bring luck and they will buy them every time until the number comes out and gives victory, but I think all that is stupidity that cannot provide benefits because basically do not know when it will come out and if it goes on for long time clearly loss are obtained from each previous bet.
This is not like strategy but can be said to be chasing bets to be able to get victory.

You already answered your own question there actually. It is because we are hoping that they will now come out and then we will now win. I actually think that it is still considered to as a strategy. And it was very annoying if we will keep on changing numbers only to witness that our previous numbers have now came out. Losses are only normal if we are gambling and as a gambler they can accept this already.

I think there is no such thing as chasing bets but it is only a regular betting, if we continue playing again. If there is such thing as chasing, then that will only be chasing losses and then chasing for the jackpot. But this still equates to placing a bet again.

If we are talking about honest lottery - we can copy last winner number million times without any positive result. The same time we can copy it just one time and win jackpot. Random works so. If someone has some strategy for random - he don`t know maths.
And what you said about manipulation - it is just one more reason to avoid the lottery.

I can consider repurchasing lottery tickets as a smart strategy because a player might be in luck and the combination will hit the jackpot. I believe that we have limited options when it comes to lottery strategies, unlike sports bets where you can make analysis, so repurchasing tickets is not bad. Inasmuch as there's no mathematical calculations involved in lottery, it's purely by luck that you can win so the option is basically to randomly pick numbers or be repeating your ticket combination. The important thing is to have a strategy for your gambling bankroll and it's to gamble with the amount that you can afford to loose.
