I have one question about the forum advertisement, what do you think is more effective, making a signature campaign or paing directly to the forum for their ads sports?

Do you mean between signature campaigns and forum ads? Well, if you're talking to this forum, forum ads were stopped a year/s ago, so the comparison is invalid already. And they are different ads, you can say signature campaigns are more on engagement in the community for the long term, at least a year, just like SirJohnVonSlott said.

Yes, there are no Forum Ads. Though, the beauty of signature campaigns is that a lot of the ad blockers don't notice them, so when you're working with an educated crowd like us, you can still penetrate through us even if we have ad blockers installed.

from what i have noticed, only crappy ad block extensions don't block signatures.
a good one like ublock origin (i believe is the most popular one used by forum member) does block signatures.

I'm sporting Ad Block Ultimate on Firefox Mac and it lets them through, but I don't think that's a bad thing, I actually used this as an USP for my stakeholders.

These are exceptionally good values that are often left without attention. I and many other customers don't click on affiliate URLs, I manually type the URL of the website because I don't want to get affiliated with someone, I prefer more privacy.

SEO value is also huge. During Covid, I tried and put my own website in my signature instead of participating a signature campaign and I discovered how greatly can Bitcointalk affect website's SEO. My website was a brand new website without backlinks, I put it in my signature and Alexa Rank became significantly better within days, I also noticed more traffic from Google. The most benefit effect I got was from a few ANN threads where I had made a post on the first page. One thread even had a Page Rank 6.

nothing that complicated. lol

for ublock origin, it's quite simple really. the extension just looks for the div with the class "signature" and adds the following css display rule:

I believe all those blockers are good for websites with pop-ups, clickbait and annoying backlinks. Signatures here are better structured.

Absolutely right.
I have also long noticed that the OPs of such topics often treat BTT users' messages rather irresponsibly and thus obviously create some negativity in relation to both the topic and indirectly in relation to the project itself. In my opinion, this carelessness and irresponsibility, which usually begins to manifest itself in the long term, creates an image of ordinariness or even fatigue from the project that is advertised on the forum.
But in general, this is unacceptable. It is absolutely clear that everything that is designed for really working advertising on the forum should last even longer than 4 quarters. I think that this period should be considered as the most acceptable in the long term for about 3 years.

It's not the specific operator that is the issue, it's the whole industry that is a challenge to be in.

For every 10 casinos out there that are playing legit (trying to explain their users that gambling shouldn't be treated by the players as a business, but rather as paid entertainment) there are 1000 who will tell the player that they can change their life if they just register and deposit 10k with them. Add a pair of boobies and a guy in a lambo, and there you go, you just destroyed the life of a kid who borrowed those 10k from his friends and parents.

And you can't affect that change as an operator, but you can as a really strong affiliate, this is why I'm looking to build my own affiliate operations now: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5522327

If you're a really strong affiliate, you can bully the operators into playing legit and answering their players, otherwise with one mouse button you remove all the value they are getting from you.

You can't bully other operators as an operator, which is why I left.

I've been in the industry for a while and most of my friends have their own operation, so I'm still consulting, marketing and SEO are my thing, and might later on open my own operation, but we'll see what the future holds. Right now I want to focus on the affiliation part.

I've never seen such a detailed thread about casino promotion and it's one of the most unique threads in gambling board. I have a slight impression that casinos and casino operators who are new to the forum should learn and make better use of the forum to their advantage. We should only share whenever possible.

Of course, whenever someone else experienced in management and marketing on the forum adds something to this discussion, it's better for all casino operators and participants in general.

Last year, unfortunately, casinos wasted money on marketing trying to get quick returns from traffic, and that's not how it works. The company must build its brand, engage a community and, as the OP said, if it's a reputable company, any accusation that arises, the forum members themselves will come to its defense, unless someone can prove the accusation.
