Sell the news simple as that, if people expect a certain day it will go up then it probably go down near term.   Sounds like Im horribly cynical and clinically wrong as Bitcoin is strong bullish asset and I agree but its also volatile and prone to throw off those who try to ride it as if its a donkey not a bull.
  Im bullish on BTC overall but you can over anticipate an event.  Im thinking that day is for ceremony and any positives for Bitcoin will be in the process and policy later apparent not in fine words spoken in speeches as politics tends to be, actions will count more.  Just my guess of course as always.

Bitcoin's price touched $102k again for a while but from there it has been dumping again temporarily. However, Donald Trump's creation of his Bitcoin Reserve Fund may have some impact on the increase in Bitcoin's price, but I don't think it will directly skyrocket.
 Because only his Bitcoin Reserve is definitely positive for Bitcoin, but it will definitely increase but will create a new record for a while, but this year I think it is very likely to be $120k but I don't think it will be $150k.

They might be happy with the result for a short time but they will regret it because that is not the only reason for the increase of BTC but we have other more too.

Not to burst the bubble for you, Powell says Fed cannot hold bitcoin, not seeking to change that. And this negative news really put down the price of Bitcoin in the last two weeks of December after we achieved a new all time high of $108k.

Nevertheless, we are still in the FOMO as far as Donald Trump becoming the next President. We have seen the effect of his statement as we have heard other countries as well considering Bitcoin as their national reserve. And if by chance Trump was able to vetoed the FED to change their stance and hold Bitcoin as a national reserve, it will create a avalanche and countries going to do that as well.

And if that happens, we really don't know what will the top price of Bitcoin in this bull run. Perhaps a conservative of $150k and then as high as $250k is also possible new all time high.

It seems people still don't want to accept the fact that the Fed is the holder of national reserves, not the US government. So Trump wanting to make Bitcoin a national reserve is a huge challenge because he would need to convince the Fed to change its stance, and honestly, I'm not optimistic about that. Because the Fed is outside the control of the US government and no president in history has been able to object to or interfere with the decisions of the Fed. Furthermore, the idea of ​​turning bitcoin into a national reserve is not his top priority, he has more important tasks to do with the United States. I don't think he would spend too much time and effort fighting for that.

They are not against the US government or the US president, it's just that their mission and mandate are different from the US government. And their primary job is to ensure appropriate monetary policies to ensure the stability of the US and world economies and maintain that stability. So if we put ourselves in the shoes of the Fed, we will understand that their opposition to bitcoin is not wrong.
I don't think there will be common ground between the Fed and Trump, they are even worried that the economy will get worse when Trump is elected. This was reflected in the announcement that they would only be able to cut interest rates once or twice in 2025 instead of four times as previously expected. The Fed was clearly not optimistic about the economy when Trump took office because his trade war would cause inflation to rise again.

could be literally anything because people can just pull something like sell the news.
though I absolutely optimistic the price won't fall below $90k or if it happen, it gonna recovers fast, but just expect for the worse because sentiment of the market is getting bad after the recent news about US sell off towards bitcoin so the market is pretty uncertain about what direction its gonna take.

I'm offloading some BTC right now just in case and will buy lower, i still believe we can still reach $130k though but it's just plain speculation as well.

The bitcoin price won't go to hell as you said. But 90K or 70K is not a price that you say that it is the end of the Bitcoin, if it goes to this value it will be just a correction and nothing else. I think a lot will depend on what Trump announces once he comes in office. It can be Interest rates or the bitcoin strategic reserves or whatever the good fundamental news for bitcoin, it will be good for bitcoin price. If there is no announcement by trump which favors bitcoin, it may dump.

2025 is just starting and many investor have tied hopes on the bull market kicking with the bringing on of Donald trump's as the president elect. The movement of the price of Bitcoin can be affected by many things and one of which is the trump factor, imagine the US president himself showing publicly of his investment and many of Bitcoin when he has been sworn in as Mr president, it will definitely sky rocker the purchase and price of Bitcoin making the year look bullish to a small margin as early kick off.

Definitely price of bitcoin will increase without Donald Trump, because from time in memory bitcoin price has be increasing and decreasing without any help of any country president, I believe that what makes bitcoin to increase efficiently is because of the gravity of the demands, its quit understanding that when the demands of bitcoin is higher it attract the market to skyrocket....secondly, altcoins increase efficiently when bitcoin increases, anytime bitcoin is experiencing positive changes, other coins do have a positive value in the market.

Dont sell your BTC at any price, the main simple reason being price is not a good reason to sell.   You buy or sell a product for its usage not the price label on it, nobody should be buying purely on price bar traders in Chicago who take that job and have zero interest in ever actually using BTC.


Again simply put one man isnt a good reason to base your reasoning on BTC.  Even when its a sitting president, he is far shorter term in his tenure then I hope Bitcoin will last.   Of the two Im focused on the asset itself not the players big or small and their ideas for what they might do.


Its hard for me to explain sufficiently but price can be volatile and inaccurate, especially with BTC.   If you sell on a spike down it can be a terrible mistake, the price temporally may move erratically and incorrectly so price is not the best guide.  Try to decide over far more then a few days if you seriously have a need to sell, long term BTC has a good trajectory this year or even five years ahead imo.

His statements and policies will directly impact investor and market sentiment, which means they will impact the demand for bitcoin. Just like the recent surge that took bitcoin price to $108,000, we need to acknowledge that he was also one of the catalysts behind that surge.

It can be said that the demand for bitcoin and its popularity depends on the government, they can influence people with regulations and laws. If they are unfriendly or worse ban their citizens from participating in bitcoin, don't expect bitcoin to become popular.
