ETH leading the alt season?

BTC is always leading the bullrun season in each cycle. Without the big pump on BTC price, it is hard to expect for altcoins season. Meanwhile for XRP, it doesn't reach its ATH yet. How it leads the altcoins season? I only consider BNB and Solana are leading the altcoins season. These altcoins have reached their ATHs, and they keep performing well.

Regarding Ethereum, not sure why it doesn't increase much until now. People start to feel disappointed with Ethereum performance. Since it is the number 1 altcoin, it should lead the increase of all altcoins. Unfortunately, it seems having difficulty to increase consistently.

Retail investors are far more interested in memes than in coins that are established and have proven themselves over time. Even Bitcoin has not really seen a significant increase in adoption, as we can see from the nearly empty mempool. The bull run has been driven almost entirely by institutional demand.

Altcoins are also in a bull run if we think about how many memecoins have been getting pumped. These coins are designed solely to transfer wealth from the bottom to the top and, as a result, die out quickly when creators cash out by dumping a large percentage of the supply.

With Trump in office, many people were optimistic that his policies would have a favorable impact on the overall market, but the launch of his own pump and dump memecoin and tariffs on the U.S.’s largest trading partners have diverted liquidity away from major altcoins and kept prices depressed.

i think that memecoins season makes another altcoin stuck in the middle.
while memecoins are easy to create and bring a much greater flow of new memecoins than another new altcoins.
so we lack movement on the altcoin side, only memes trend still rising

can't be a the king of altcoin if all the money going to solana right now. ETH with its annoying scalability issue has always been the main problem that holding back the blockchain, had their TPS and scalability is great. really rooting for ETH to break the sentiment and become relevant again with some innovative network upgrade in the future that can improve their scalability, but maybe it's just a fleeting dream.

Well, people change and so as the others E.g. coins or their rankings. ETH was known as the king of the alts before but maybe not now anymore as some altcoins are scaling up against it. ETH is an alternative to BTC, so it is supposed to fix the known issue of BTC which is scalability but it's funny that it even have it as well, lol, no wonder why other alts are surpassing it. ETH already had an upgrade before but I think it only makes its situation much worse. IDK if the founders saw it coming but maybe they know something that we haven't? Hhmm..

those memes aren't gonna be populating solana with their massive capital inflow but alas things already happened.

There is nothing wrong with the fact that the entire Ethereum ecosystem is running smoothly. However, despite Ethereum being ranked after Bitcoin this season, Ethereum has not been able to change its price much. I'm not sure if there will a chance for Bitcoin reaching $200k. If you mean there will be no chance for a new ATH for Ethereum, why you are very confident about this? Do you know that Vitalik won't do something to improve the price of Ethereum in this cycle?

I never compared my altcoins values with Bitcoin, I mostly compared it with USDT price. It is not a big deal, so why we must feel it as a complicated thing. However, if you have your own perception, just apply for your investment, dude. So far, I'm quite satisfied with my strategy both in Bitcoin or in altcoins investment.

When the money is shifting to the ethereum. It can be a signal for alt season. However, it needs further confirmation through seeing Bitcoin Dominance chart. I often used ethereum as a signal, but only happened when BTC.D was declining sharply.

The cycle is that BTC > ETH > ALTs.

I also totally agreed with the article you mentioned above. There are too many L2, and demand gets divided. It's hard to keep money to flow into the one ecosystem, and criticism Ethereum Foundation's decision to focusing on L2 instead of how to scale its slow blockchain.  

I hope it becomes a wake up call for Ethereum Foundation to focus on the scalability of their blockchain.

Dumping silently to use the profit for expenses is okay, however, they share on social media very bullish posts and they dump a few hours or days later? This is ICO scammer behavior.

The leader of alt season will be Solana and also this might be Binance smartchain. There is a rumor that Binance has been dumping their revenues in bitcoin and altcoins. Will this be used to pump BNB? This will not be a shocking tactic.

The reason why "people changed" on their opinions about ETH is the fact that, ETH didn't change. Maybe that could be good for some assets, but in the altcoin world where there are innovations almost daily, something staying exactly the same way isn't really acceptable anymore, which is why there are a lot of people who try to avoid that as much as they possibly could.

I understand that it may not look that great, but at the end of the day we are going to see this becoming a big issue if we are not careful. ETH will become obsolete eventually if there aren't any improvements and there are many cases of this already going on right now. The start is that it doesn't go up when others do, and next step is it will go up more than others during bear and lose position.

Maybe because so many people migrate eth mainet to eth base network(L2).
And many of the old ETH token have other contract like bnb,solana and others.

who said there will be no chance. im saying that bitcoin need to reach 200k so the possibility of eth reaching a new ETH is likely to occur.
the last eth ATH is around 4600$. it needs at least 2 times the current price

If there was a chance for Ethereum to lead an alt season, another occurrence has happened that will cause for this not to happen. Bybit was hacked by allegedly the Lazarus Group and it appears that it has stolen 1.5 billion in ETH. We can be quite certain that this will be dumped and this will certainly be another bad cause for price to decrease.

However, the very good news for Ethereum holders is it will not also be Solana that will lead the alt season because there is a scandal there heheheheh. Everyone is afraid hehehe.

ETH leading the alt season? at the past cycle the eth should lead all other altcoin to creates its new all time high but if we found right now even ethereum didn't break their last ath and still at current price even down to 2K USD per coin.

if you take a look other altcoin like XRP BNB TRX and SOL already create new all time high tho now all of them is do small correction. but for unknown reason the ETH still stuck at the current price.

Maybe this cycle would be different but I'm still believe in EThereum since all the Layer 2 is depend on Ethereum security

Ethereum may be the lead when it comes to the altcoins, but it is certainly not leading this bullrun season, other coins have shown more advanced performance than it has been expected of ethereum to do, but we can't predict for the future as anything is never too late, if bitcoin rises to make all time high above$110k then we may also expect same pump on ethereum, except if we are already done with the altcoins season.
