Three minutes ago I answered the question about my favorite sport, and yes, it is football, a sport about which it seems that a lot is known. This is both true and wrong at the same time and depends on what kind of betting you do. I have never bet on any game that I do not really know. I mean I do bet on super bowl, while not watching American football that much, but that's super bowl, it's more about entertainment than sport for me to be fair and betting on it makes me support one side, because normally I do not care about any team there.

However, contrary to me, there are friends I know who just like to bet on whoever is the favourite at the closest possible way. Meaning, if they see a 1.40 odds on any team on any sport or person, then they may end up betting on them as well. So it's clear that we are not going to really get a certain way that people bet, most of them do end up changing a lot and they all have different approach to it. I believe that this is going to be pretty similar for everyone. Some will avoid betting on any sport they do not, and some will just stick to strategy and not care about what they bet on as long as it fits their strategy.

I myself play basketball for like 30 years, watching a lot of leagues, know so many teams and players, plenary of them personally as well. I couldn't agree more. With sports bettings statistics and expert predictions are so widely availible that anyone can make an educated guess and win big its really not all that complicated. Even if you know nothing of the team there is a chance and that is where the luck comes in but you're right OP I would surely advise to stick with what you know and create a betting niche that could pan out for you. The tricky part is that some players or teams have their hot streaks but may lose and throw you off, I think its slow and steady wins the race. Don't let any drawbacks crumble you and don't bet any more than you're willing to lose of course.

We have to accept that gambling depends on luck. No matter how much knowledge and analysis we put into betting, you can't win unless you're lucky. My favorite sports are football and cricket I try to bet on these two sports. I have no idea about other sports so I don't try to bet on all other sports. Yes, if you leave sports betting to luck, you are blind because using analysis and knowledge in sports betting will give you an advantage but cannot guarantee it. Now how gambling depends on luck, last match I bet on Liverpool and I was confident to win but lost the match as a draw. So it is better to bet on the games that you know about. But we have to trust our luck, knowledge and analysis will not win you if luck is not good.

I totally disagree with you on that if you said gambling is just luck, now let me ask you one simple question. If you don't have any idea/knowledge about how gambling works how can you be able to indicate those options and also what it means? Are you trying to tell me that you can just choose any options as long as luck is involved? That's totally wrong, if you're doing this definitely you will keep experience lose all the time. obviously gambling itself is all about luck but first you need to know those options very well before you expect luck to be on your side, because if you can't indicate those options very well definitely luck will be very far from you. though you can win by mistake but it will be very hard I guess by then you must have lose a huge amount of money in gamble, So don't say that knowledge and analysis does not matter in gambling.

But what if I also love poker and I think that I am a good player, but each time my opponents can be different and I do not know how good they are until I start playing. It is true that you will not experience massive lost amounts of money by betting on sports that you have followed every week for years for example although in the long term this will not save anyone from being in negative. Also most people once they win something from their bets they will immediately expand to another type of game because this is mostly inevitable in casinos, I don't know yet a single gambler who only bets on the sports he knows most better and that he has been following from a lot of time for years during many seasons. Yeah I agree one can bet on different sport which you aren't too familiar with too, although it's a personal decision and so not everyone does it but I do normally bet on basketball and even baseball even though I don't even have the full knowledge about the game and it favours me most of time too. Sometimes I even get tired of playing most of the soccer game am familiar with especially the premier league as it's very hard sometimes to get their predictions right.

Jack of all trade in gambling is one of the reason why alot of gamblers lose money a lot. There is one gambling community I am on Telegram and there is something I noticed many of them do. If some predict a game on a particular sport, could football, basketball, handball or hockey. As soon as they noticed one gambler has won one particular game, they rush to play it and the funny thing is thag casino tend to change things when they notice an Influx of user to a particular game, they know someone must have win so they increased the lower line to make it harder than the way it was before.

If you are very good at what you do and I don't have a little knowledge, if you share me such kind of game to risk some money, I will not unless I want to have some fun but the amount I will put is going to be too small that it wouldn't be enough to feed me or for transportation to go buy something, that's how serious I'm with gambling on what I don't know.
