According to the topic, I prefer watching live football even though I didn't bet on any. I love watching football because I love it, especially when both teams are good in the field.
Most of the times I don't get the chance to watch the games I bet, and I normally bet on popular games and leagues. Football is an interesting game and it has a lot of fans, just the way every teams have supporters. I have seen a football lover that doesn't gamble, she loves football and she also love playing football but she doesn't gamble at all. Football has a lot of leagues and not all of them are interesting to watch, but many gamblers bet on them, especially the new gamblers.

If your want to enjoy your sports betting experience, bet on only games you have experience in and you enjoy it. It will help you to gamble easily and also increase your chances of winning.
But I know some people who depend of. Predictions sites for games. They don't have any experience or enjoy these sports but they bet on them since always get predictions for these professional predictors. These individuals can be categorized as people that gamble solely for profit. For me , gambling is a is for fun and for profit, so I wouldn't bet on.

Most gamblers place their bets on games they are familiar with in fact they place their highest stakes most of the time on teams that they support. It's less stressful emotionally when you bet on games that you are actually familiar with and that's because you understand how the play works as well as teams that are good and have a good game record and potential too.

The most cases I've sport betting on games a gambler isn't familiar with is in the case of gambling channels where the share games that have a good winning potential.

Casino gambling, maybe and that’s because, there is usually no knowing about this right… when it comes to sports betting, it’s a different ball game. I want to enjoy every hit of it you know. I want to make predictions knowing that, these are the events I am expecting to come play in certain games and it gives me a lot of satisfaction knowing that, it indeed play and even better when I profit from them. Betting on sports I’m not quite knowledgeable with or don’t fully understand, it’s mainly for research purposes or I’ve got bonus on them.

I don't do that; there's no excitement doing it. I like to watch and bet on sports that I understand how it works because even if I am an expectator, I like to be part of the match as a bettor and as one giving an analysis. It's very boring if you watch a game you don't understand only because you have a bet; you will wish that the game be over and announce who is the winner and how the winner wins.

And we have responses like...  I only bet on sport games I know so I can analyze the games and compare the teams strengths before placing the bet.

Some says... I don't mind betting on strange sport games neither do I care analysing even games I have knowledge about. The aim is just betting and hope to win .

All of the above are right if bets responsibly so we that ruin the fun of entertaining from it.

I don't see any reason why someone will be gambling on what they don't like, your knowledge about such will be so little that even the money you put in front wouldn't work. It's only when you love something you can confidently makes predictions about it, most often when you see sport betting, it says bet on your ambitions. It's because you like it and you want to have fun about it otherwise you have no business to betting, it's better you stick to casino games.

It's when you watch matches you will know who is well positioned in a team, which team is good, what team is inform and which team is likely to beat one another. These are the things that gives you hint about your moves and the predictions else you will hardly makes money from gambling, you will only be an attraction for gambling platforms to make money from your pocket.

That's right, I have friends that are hardcore sports bettors and even if they're not a fan of the teams, they're betting on them as long as they have the basis for betting on them.

Right odds, right news, and other factors that they see making that team have more chance of winning.

It is not because someone bets for a team in any particular sport, but because they won't bet for it. And even if they don't like the sport as long as they've got reasons for it, they'll bet for that.

i am a sports fan before i am a gambler i watch sports and i bet on my predictions to amplify the entertainment and enjoyment i get from that sports i could not bet while watching a sport but it is always much more fun to look forward to the results knowing especially that you might win in the end so if your favorite team wins you are happy as a fan but you can be happier if you also win some money from betting on them

The sports I don't like generally involve hurting animals, or at least where they can injury themselves for the amusement of people. Things like bull fighting, cock fighting, fox hunting, are all rather barbaric and should not even fall into the category of sports but maybe people consider them that way. If you have a blood lust, then at least go for something like boxing where two grown adults have decided willingly to beat the crap out of each other than forcing animals into the mix. Anyone that has spent just a bit of time around pets can understand that they have all kinds of emotions and I'd never want to instill any kind of fear inside any animal unnecessarily, you're kind of sick in the head if these things amuse you.

Same applies to me, there is no essence for gambling on the kind of game i don't watch or like, this means i will be less informative about that particular game and to place a bet on what i don't really know like that automates for failure and one will loose the bet, ideally, we go for what we know and enjoy it together with those that appreciates for everything, also, we are going to be mindful of the money we are using to place bet by choosing the ones we know well and not the unfamiliar games.

There could still be gamblers who bet on their not so favorite games, most probably because of money. Where there is bigger odds of winning, they stick to it regardless if they enjoy the game or not. However for me, I'll go what makes me having fun and enjoy. I'm using my hard-earned money so I have to bet on game where I would enjoy myself. Except if others pay for it then I don't have reasons to refuse the offer.

It actually depends on the gambler.. some gamblers are just after the odds and not the particular sport , once it’s a good odd and likely to hit they pick it up, while some gamblers has some particular sports they like visiting to make their bets. For me I don't Enjoy any other sports apart from football (or should i say soccer:)) , I do watch Basketball as well(I don’t enjoy it like football though) but we Jen it comes to gambling I will  just have to stick with football.

Money comes first in Gambling before what you love or don't.
If I don't bet on a sport is not because I don't like it but cause I barely have any information about them.
When I'm making sports bets, I usually focus on Europe top 5 leagues
Especially EPL and Laliga
I do bet on other league and even on teams I know nothing about (very rare).
If the odds is tempting I can just gamble gamble and rely on luck even if I ain't a fan of the sport.

I can list several games that i do not enjoy and assure you never have i involved myself into gambling on those games, not because i don't know on what to gamble but since the sport doesn't interest me and i sincerely don't enjoy watching or seeing them accompany other sports games on my bet. There are still those who do not care, no love for the sports but with the knowledge they just make gambling on them look easy.

Specifically on a sport like Football, can't say i watch every of the games gambled on but majority of them i do spend time either mid way or after match, since times and UTC can affect the chance of watching while gambling. Don't know for others but i can bet against my favorite team and players, when i see a tougher opponent i don't think about being sentimental with my money.

If going for the money definitely a lot of gamblers do that meanwhile few just love keeping it simple. Personally I might consider trying other bets if only I watch those sport but, in a situation I don’t engage in such I can’t force myself just because I want an extra benefit. Trying something new only depends on the benefit attach else people will not bother creating time for gambling activity talkless of trying new sports, I might prioritize less stress when gambling so I don’t have to complicate things.

I don't enjoy watching wrestling anymore; for some reason, all fights look scripted in my eyes, and it annoys me to watch such a sport. I don't bet on them unless there is so much trend about a particular fight that I can risk a few pennies to place my bet on them.
 
What makes gambling more enjoyable in sports betting is if you place a bet on your favourite sport game. You don't only place a bet on them; you also enjoy watching them too while you play, expecting to win based on your prediction.

I can't have enjoyment once I don't get some good wins, that's fast and reality talk to tell to everyone. We gamble for money, and in order to enjoy and have satisfaction towards that sports you bet with always value that funds you have with you. Let's change that mindset of stressing ourselves to win big amount, have self satisfaction in order to enjoy what you're going to do with betting on whatever sports you prefer to set for your bets.
Of course if you saw higher odds it definitely give you 90% chances that you could win successfully.

I do not bet on sports that I'm not a fan of or do not enjoy watching. It's very hard to enjoy a sports and just bet on it without knowing or understanding the game itself. And I do not see fans stretching their imagination of betting on sports that they don't like. I mean just for the sake of winning money?

See even yourself can't imagine that you have to sit for hours and then watch a game that you are not interested. And I do not know what will be the mindset of this kind of gamblers. Maybe they are really so addicted to sports betting that they will just look at the odds being presented to them and then blindly bet on it and even don't watch the game because they don't feel like it and just waiting for the outcome.

Of course I also place bets in order to earn money but only on the games that I like and I know about them. I avoid placing bets in matches where I don't have enough knowledge about the game or about the teams.

I enjoy betting as it's a great way to get entertained but I don't really consider it a way to earn money especially when I know that my luck doesn't favors me that much.

However, I still enjoy my bets and win most of the bets when I do enough research about the teams. I don't often place bets, I do it once in a week sometimes more than that and sometimes one per month.

So, I agree with you...

I believe that betting on sports that you don't like or don't understand well can be a big obstacle to getting results... to make a good bet it is essential to have a deep knowledge of the sport in question, its rules, strategies, know the players and teams and also the factors that influence the outcome of the games.

So, if you don't like a sport then it is very likely that you are not willing to invest time and effort to learn about it and then your bets will be based on guesses or luck instead of analysis and knowledge. Not to mention the fact that the lack of passion and interest in the sport can lead to a lack of motivation to follow the games and updates, which is essential to make informed decisions about betting.

Therefore, I can't imagine betting on sports that I don't like, I believe that passion and knowledge are fundamental to success in betting.

There are sports that I don't dislike, I'm just not interested in. These are all kinds of skiing and swimming. I have nothing against these sports, but I'm not interested in it. However, I could easily bet on such contests, and at random. For example, I rarely place small bets on the cricket, and sometimes I even win, albeit small amounts.
