Any investment can be profitable if we have sufficient knowledge, because in my opinion, some cases that occur are usually they invest but not with sufficient knowledge, sometimes they do it with minimal knowledge and losses when something like this is a natural thing. I have an older friend and he has been involved in bitcoin investment for a long time, yesterday's case where bitcoin experienced a fairly shocking price drop made him lose everything but he reinvested his money. I agree with you. In my personal opinion, investment mindset is the key to creating wealth. No one is rich just as an employee with a small salary. However, to create this investment mindset is very difficult and becomes a challenge for poor and middle class people because they even find it difficult to survive from day to day. I mean poor and middle class people will not have an investment mindset from the start because their environment is only about survival. Choosing the right assets to invest in will help us shorten the time to achieve success. However, you are right, profit and success will depend largely on our thinking and knowledge. That is why even though bitcoin is considered the most profitable investment, it is not the market that has created the most billionaires and millionaires. Look at the list of the top 100 billionaires in the world, they are all born from the US stock market, gold or real estate. Even many of them have not paid attention or invested in bitcoin, so far.

I am quite curious how your friend could lose everything when he invested in Bitcoin for quite a long time, because if he has been involved in Bitcoin investment for quite a long time, of course a decline like some time ago is not the first thing he has experienced, so there should be no panic, but I suspect your friend is not an investor but a trader and may trade in Bitcoin vs Altcoin pairs, but this is just my guess. And investing with adequate knowledge is very important otherwise panic will arise when reading the news or seeing a market that is not good.
