Fast forward to today, fire is destroying L.A and another religion in my country, the Muslims believe that Allah is probably punishing the Americans for supporting Israeli to destroy Gaza.

Why has religion succeeded in disstablizing humans, also helped in dividing us rather than unit us. We now see God as the head and supporter of one religion against the other.
Where then is the place of love and humanity?

Your assertion is not far from the truth, regardless of the alarming technological emancipation in the globe yet it has never changed our thoughts on how God operates in our various perspectives, but I think it's still possible to operate in diversities of religion and yet United, this can be achieved through sound awareness campaigns on peace and conflict resolution as it relates to religion or even conference unity meetings that will bring all religions together in other to chat a way forward to redeeming mankind from the mental slavery religious believe have subjected him to.

But lets go back to your question. Did any of the religions say go murder innocent people? No. Nowhere in Christianity, Islam or Judaism says genocide is OK. In fact they all prohibit their followers from such acts against other human beings.
However, the radical groups that create cults and only carry the name of those religions commit these atrocities.
Like ISIS terrorists that are mostly followers of Wahabism cult who murder people in the name of Islam or the Israeli terrorists that are mostly followers of Zionism cult who murder people in the name of Judaism. And a lot more examples, none of whom represent the religion they claim to be part of.

With division, there is no love and humanity. It's been there for so long that the world has been divided due to religion, politics and beliefs. That's why even if there are people that are struggling, others think that it is a punishment for them. It's sad but at the same time, we're thinking what we can do for the others to make themselves feel better. But even with that, I think let's all start from doing things right with ourselves and family and teach them the values that we've grown, the right ones that has compassion to other people.

even from the past at the time it was believed that God do come down to communicate certain instruction to man, unity and complete love was not in the equation as those that are tagged not to be Gods people are considered less of value and any sort of worth and hence can be destroyed and cut off from the face of the earth without considering that they are all humans like the people that are known to be Gods people. a lot of those information has been passed down to our generation and that is the reason why the concept of jihad is still relevant in the 21st century and also, the Christian still justify most action taken by the Israelite because of the believe that they are Gods own people.

the love and obedience to God always surpasses whatever extent of love we think we have for ourselves hence the concept that suggest that for one to please God, one has to love God above family, friends, ethnic affiliation and even oneself. staying through to this fact is going to give you a sort of cold attitude towards what is happening at Israel and Hamas and the case of the wildfire at Florida and how some assume that it is a way of punishing a particular sect of people.

because of the kind of relationship that exist between God and man, you can't really question certain things even if you want to and on the other hand, your level of knowledge is even limited on how God relates with humanity and how he views some of these crisis and disaster that affect a larger portion of individual that might even be part of his own beloved. creating a balance on what we view as the natural love we have for humanity and the possibility that God might be against certain people like what has been in the case as recorded in the bible and other religious book is what we can't completely fathom because like the adage goes, you are not to try helping who God is fighting. as humans we naturally have a sense of humanity in us when we see people passing through some hard time but our allegiance to a certain deity do sometimes place us at a spot where it because not just what we want but what we are expected to do based on our believe system.

Now? This has existed as long there has been beliefs and religions.

This happens because it's a combination of how our brains work, and how our culture has build on it.

It starts from xenophobia, which in the past, has helped us keep alive. We tend to have strong build in emotions against anything unfamiliar, strange, new or if it has different proportions to something we are familiar with. These can be new customs, new cultures, people who dress and look differently to us.

Other evolutionary thing that has made us survive as long as we have is that humans are thriving best in groups. These groups often look for leaders, which later on become religious leaders as well. And when 2 different enough groups make contact, weaker leaders might be afraid that they are being challenged, so they use their position to vilify the other tribe, in order to make their own tribe stronger.

It's basically because of this but in modern and bigger scale.

But on the long run, some groups or sect in the religion hijacks the religion and start to do things contrary to the real ideology of the religion. These groups didn't hijack religion, they were just able to change the teachings and use it to brainwash some people. There are still genuine followers with good intentions for humanity.

One day I asked my religious teacher if Muslims would go to heaven. He said no that it was only believers of our religion that would gain eternal life. I asked him who gives children and he said they come from God. Then I told him that if God knows that the children he is giving to Muslims might go to hell, why is He still giving them children? If he wants his children to go to heaven, let him stop giving children to people who are not members of our religious body and give offspring to only people my religious leader said will go to heaven. He looked at me and told me that I was backsliding.

I have learned not to judge people based on their religion, tribe, or color but solely on their actions.

True religion is how it was meant to be in the beginning. It started with the first humans following GOD religiously or obeying his Commandments until they got deceived by the enemy. And were cast out of the System of Light into darkness or system of the world (the matrix). ,
There's a seperation between truely Religious people, who are dwelling  in the system of light, and the rest of the world and their religions who dwell in darkness. The people of false religions are one with the world,  only abit seperated in their hierarchy or subnets, yet controlled by a single dark entity they serve.

In the lower level of the matrix, there are many false religions whose followers are in the dark and blind,  can't properly follow GOD's law which is the Law of Love. They are automatically serving another god, who is ok with the violation of the GOD's Commandments and the hate. They think they are serving the CREATOR who can only be pleased by obedience to HIS law of love.


But thy issue you mentioned does not go away with the elimination of the called religions. It will degenerate into tolerance of different kinds of evil, like bestility, that people think are harmless, for the sake of avoiding conflicts and keeping society "peaceful". And eventually degenerate further into to full satanic single religion.

Religions are human's creations. They are just groups of people humanizing something which was divine in theory, originally. Human beings are so distant from the divine that what we know is so little or too vague to be fully comprehended in a true and sensitive way.

What we have are ancient books written by archaic civilizations who probably did their best to share knowledge based on the divine, in the simplest format as possible, so it could reach most people in an intelligible way.

The fact religious consider bad events as punishments by God to their enemies is present since old stories from The Bible, as we can see in Exodus and the ten plagues of Egypt. It just shows humans hate each other and are constantly trying to subdue each other for pride, vanity and personal gains.

For me it's completely valid to believe God is watching and protecting those who insist acting in the opposite way the wicked and perverse world tells us to do, going against the expectations of the evil who control this world. Control which was voluntarily delivered through the free will of human beings, since the moment they chose to execute perverse practices in daily life.

However, it's not possible to predict or assure how God works. That is something out of anyone's understanding in this realm.

I still have doubts when reading it. I feel like it was enough for previous civilizations, but as men evolved cognitively, more questions arised, and the answers are still a mistery. The major thing that the whole Bible is clear about is having faith in God for salvation... salvation both here, and in eternity.

If you want info about the rest of the stuff, it's like asking for proof. God never talked about anybody being saved by proof. That's an interesting religion you have there. I think that with a bunch of the proper religious type clothing and houses of worship you could make it into a real money-making business.

But think it through first. It has a lot of competition in the religion department. You gotta build something into it that will make people really like the idea.

Actually, I don't believe it is fair to say all Christians believe those acts had a justification based on the religion of those how live in Israel, most of people who supported the invasion of Gaza by Israeli military did so because they were horrified by the massacre against civilians which took place near the border of Gaza and Israel, and though it was fair for the government of Israel to try to get people released from Hamas terrorists.
Let us not imply Christians believe Israel is supposed to have a blank check in any situation or occasion they decide to take over territories or murder Palestinian civilians. Christianity is about denouncing and condemning the loss of life, not matter who the aggressor is, and in this context both Hamas and Israel have been aggressors, with different intentions.
At least, Israel tries to keep a façade and says they do not target civilians, while on the other hand, Hamas does all in against civilians and believe it is just to kill them and kidnap them for the sake of their cause.
