This is actually a good path to follow to be rich, like if we will have some portfolio in different assets and commodities and we have left them for long term then those investments will make us passive income as well so now we have two portfolios and passive source of income but we must have another passive source of income like a small business not run by us, or property that we rented, etc.

Active income is what we should never leave, even if we would be making enough from passive income because passive income will be shrinking with time as the consumption will be higher and there might be no savings so to keep the portfolio increasing and to meet the daily expenses we must have an active source of income as well.
