And the sad news is that people always fall for them. Yeah, you are right, i agreed with a client of mine who wanted to buy my products using Bitcoin as a means of payment, he insisted I should sign up on a platform where he could send me Bitcoin as form of internal funds transfers to my Bitcoin wallet address on the platform. He sent it while I received the funds on the site. Fortunately, I couldn't withdraw the balance to my external on chain wallet, they keeps saying insufficient funds that I should deposit $100 and above worth Bitcoin to enable me withdraw the rest Bitcoin.

It was then I knew I was given fake Bitcoin, I checked the Bitcoin status of the wallet address on blockchain explorer, it shows that the wallet address does not exist at all, my intuition was now telling me that my client is the owner of that platform, that he is a scammer to get the little deposit of $100 to be his which they won't be allowed to withdraw back the funds anymore. I quickly saw how this scammer would've tricked me into giving him my hard earned money just for me to access his fake Bitcoin that can't be withdrawn.

It's always advisable to be using the explorer to validate the transaction on any blockchain network if it's actually real or fake, I've would've been a victim of this if I fail to use blockchair to confirm the transaction. Be wise mates

Today in Nigeria, anyone who gets scammed is because they are greedy. And do you know what greed does? You are right, that internet frosters are developing new strategy to scam people of there Bitcoin and money, for example some scammers now are using phone charging cord to collect peoples password, how it works is that they will buy that particular cord which is a special cord when they give you that cord to use for your phone charging as soon as you plug it to the phone the cord access your phone and collect every necessary information which includes the password saved in your phone and when you bring back the cord to them and they plug it in there phone it will bring out all your details and information which includes password and if your Bitcoin wallet password is saved in your phone it will be collected and used to collect all your Bitcoin.
