Despite the TON ecosystem's reputation with "tap to earn" projects, some initiatives are still in preparation and yet to go live.

For instance, Vert went live today, and as usual, there are mixed complaints. Unlike "tap to earn" projects, Vert is a real-world asset (RWA) project building on TON. I also noticed that MDPogs seems to be gearing up for launch, given the increased activity here.

Haha its funny they list in wallet paying for things as a feature when I just read yesterday in a PirateCash thread that it is quite the opposite, the coin is going to have to castrate its telegram bot because telegram doesn't actually allow in app payments and exchanges and so on it only allows letting telegram do payments with its own app or something like that, using the TON blockchain.

tap to earn project is easier to grift on people and most of the dev doesn't even hide it, demanding "donation" otherwise you're not going to qualify, but at the end the just give you fraction of the money you spend and call it a day sometime make you ineligible near TGE for some absurd reason, definitely this tap to earn mini game aren't going away, the ton ecosystem is full of that and even has become the characteristic of the blockchain this is why I would never touch ton ecosystem even with 10ft pole ever again.

I suspect this could happen because ton ecosystem is so easy to access for people with no crypto knowledge who happen to use telegram so there's that.

Basically it sounds like it is heading toward being another "walled garden" like over time one has heard of Apple's app store and likely others becoming:

A place that might temporarily take advantage of your (the developer's) work to fill a gap in their own portfolio of offerings until ready to toss you (a developer) out in favour of their own version of your idea as soon as they have whipped up their own thing to fill the niche you temporarily filled for them to help their garden look full of goodness.

I read somewhere sometime that Apple doesn't allow other people's pay systems for example, as Pirate Cash seems to be victim to in telegram/ton garden.

Whether the laws will ban such monopolistic practices might remain to be seen but in Trump's America it doesn't seem likely does it?

In Canada locking phones in to carriers was banned, did America ever get around to that and even if so will Trump let such a thing stand?

TONcoin has the potential to grow, but how can it? There are some projects that developers are working on behind the scenes, and one day, they could definitely become hits like Notcoin, Pixel, and more. You’ll see projects like RWA, DeFi, and DEX tokens on TON, but right now, the devs are mostly just memeing.

But you know how it is these days with TON memecoin projects. Most of them are trying to follow the path of DOGS and NOTCOIN, but not all have succeeded.

The sudden impact of gen TON ecosystem in the crypto world brought about a lot of spark in the crypto market. They had the opportunity to make the best of the time they had to make their best stance in the crypto market, but they allowed tap to earn projects to use their users and didn’t appreciate them enough for their projects.

Today, many projects that are building on Ton network, has to do with telegram mini bot are hated by many because they believe it’ll end up like one of those projects that have listed poorly in the past through the telegram mini app games under the TON ecosystem.

They’ve lost their relevancy which they gained writhing a short time by the successful lunch of Notcoin. Except a new big game comes into that space and do something spectacular, not many people will rely on them to get good rewards for their efforts.

SEED was disappointing, not pixel is the same, many of TON projects right now are just a shit project that just for TGE, take profit, rinse and repeat.

Even the meme coins, shitcoin, and the likes as well. Tap to earn project is only another kind of them. It is newer so the hype is still there and this makes it easy for those who join it to make money from the public but even the public can also earn money too on them especially if they are wise enough. Anyways, donation is supposed to be optional only but they make it look like it is one of the mandatory requirements.

It can be obvious that there is something wrong with that project already. As I said earlier, this tap to earn is only another project or another hype, so like the other, they will also have their own expiration time. Just see and wait for it.

For now or from my perspective ton is just like the regular chain but still very new and infant the dex is only two or three and the other dapp still at development maybe it because the ton isnt evm compatible so Developer need to rewrite their code
