You already said it mate, it's meme coins, and throughout it's history, we haven't seen meme coins that last a long time. Everything is base on it's hype and pure pump and dump scheme.

That thing with the altcoin market though is that it hasn't had it's own bull run yet. And so maybe investors are going into meme coins right now and probably earning a good amount of profit. Nevertheless, it's not going to last and so if you guys knows how to take advantage of it then why not? But let be known that the risk is too high and so just be very careful investing on them.

You've said it all buddy. If you trade memecoins you need to be ready to take profit intentionally..I created a thread about TRUMP earlier and even though it's a presidential meme I took profits around $70 and now it went down. Only the brave make profits with memecoin. Another thing is having first hand information, I use Bitgetseed for that. For those who do have that experience then we've been through into a meme coin season on which BSC chain had become that the main trend on which tokens or meme on that particular time was really that popular and coming back on $SHIB on which we know on how popular it is. Now that we are on a new market cycle then this is the year for $SOL meme based tokens but somehow there are still on other chains that are having some considerable meme coin counts but of course when it comes to volume then we can say that solana based meme coins are really that have more.In speaking about investment options then its good for short term but for long term? Nah. It will really be that a huge problem if you do so because we do know that these meme coins will really be having that only have that one huge pump then die forever and create another new meme coin and this cycle continues. This is why you should really be careful on what you are dealing into.

Yeah investing meme coins it is kind of gambling, i have no doubt with your statement, meme coins launched just using hype but no clear roadmap, tokens utility and there are no others promising thing in meme coins, so that meme coins can not sustain in the long term.

Well if a new investor does want to invest in the meme coins I think there is some better options then the Solanan meme coins. There is only 4 of them with a marketcoin of more then $1 Billion.
For me I would never invest my capital in a coin called Fartcoin, Unicorn Fart Dust, Just a chill guy, or Smoking Chicken Fish. I do think most of them are going to become 'rug pulls' and if you invest in them you will lose your capital. If you want to invest in meme coins it should be Doge or Shib.

yes that's true i already lost my capital in trump & melania's coins, especially i lost big amount in melania because i was going to follow trumps coin trend, but melania can not perform like trumps coin, many investors lost their money both of those coins, now i decided to never invest in celebrities meme coins in the future.

I am exactly like you, I have suffered losses in these memes, but I did not take the same decision. I am still looking for other outlets that may make me achieve a good profit. The market can still recover, and we can see move prices forward.

It will continue to trend as long as new project developers continues to create new memecoins and other altcoin projects under the network. Probably if maybe a new memecoin is created on a different chain and it luckily gain so much adoption and pumped so high, then investors can start looking at the project too and network which could make other developers to start creating their coins too on the network.

If meme coins continue to exist in the market, it means that they haven't turned into a rug pull operation and their team may fulfill their promise to list them on CEX. However, their future remains uncertain because if there are major price fluctuations for any reason, they could also be delisted from exchanges. Many coins have appeared in the past and gained fame, but they remained dormant until now after new competing meme coins appeared that stole the spotlight and attracted investors to them.

I believe that the hype around Solana Memecoins will continue as long as greedy people ignore risks and prefer gambling over long-term investments. Indeed, no one can predict when the price of one of these meme coins will rise significantly because if people knew this, everyone would become rich.

I always say that I don't believe in altcoins, I always believe in Bitcoin. You must have seen how Bitcoin has grown in the current session. Altcoins have not grown in the same way as Bitcoin has grown. Apart from that, Solana coin could have been relied on in that regard, but all the meme coins that are coming or have come to the market on the Solana platform have not been able to maintain their market and most of the projects have been dumped a lot and have not been able to recover and I don't know if they will be able to in the future.

The bigger question is how successful have memecions been since the hype around them started, also considering the current market conditions, what is the performance of the top memecoins at the moment and what is the percentage of the crash between their all-time high and current market price, if it loses in price is greater than half of the total ATH it means there is no potential sustenance of the market, so since we already that that memecions lack an ecosystem and depends on hypes for it price to get pumped it then means that it is open to manipulation anything which is not a good investment feature for any assets, so I advise you be careful when dealing with solo chain based memecoins as an investment.

To be fair, almost every niche in crypto is susceptible to manipulation, and I agree that it's more frequent with memecoins, but we still cannot ignore the fact that a lot of people also profit from the space, and by this I mean average traders.

I don’t think anyone knows how long it’s going to last, but you should know that meme coin is just about hype. Whenever a coin is being listed and it’s being hyped, then it’s going to pump, immediately the hype dies down, then the coin will dump, and you might not hear about the coin again, so the best thing is just to take advantage of the hype; don’t make meme coin a long term investment, because immediately the hype dies, you might not even hear about the coin anymore, and it’s going to dump. Also, I don’t always recommend meme coin investment, but anyone that chooses to invest in meme coins should do it with a little amount of money because of the risk involved in it.

This is my same approach whenever I want to invest in memes. And yes like with every form of investment, it's important that we approach them cautiously.

Cryptocurrency has a huge influencers and its market is driven by community activities so for sure, there is no cryptocurrency without manipulation, it is the manipulation that gives birth to the volatilities in the market and also the chances for investors and trader's to interconnect, as actors in the market, so you are right in that statement, but what I want you to know is that market manipulation is weighed on different levels and at that we can't compare the level of manipulation in meme coins to be the same as that of Bitcoin or Ethereum it is not possible, while Bitcoin is open to market forces to manipulate it which is hard, meme coins are being manipulated and controlled by the developers or the whale behind them, so is easy to get pumped and dumped at will.

nobody will know until when meme coin will last, people back then said meme coin is just a fad, yet it survived until now though some also don't really retain their value that much after a while but some instead hitting ATH.
but one thing you need to remember is that with these meme, usually the money is rotating to newer one, the entire market depends on a narrative and hype, once narrative and hyper subsides, the price going down. then the money looking for another meme coin that's trending, basically pump and dump, so there's no such thing as ending if the main reason these meme coin market exist is for speculation and zero sum game.

Well yes I there is alot of investors that did lose their money in those 2 meme coins. And for some of them it was their first time investing so they did thnik think would make alot of profit from it.
But I do not listen to the influencers for what to invest in. And even when it is the US President it does not mean we will make profit from his memecoin. I do not think these 2 coins are a "rug pull" but alot of investors did lose most of their capital from them.

While it was something that looked great, I am not sure if I still agree with that right now. I can see that it was a great investment opportunity when they were doing better, but looking at it right now, I would say that it is not looking that great at all. I can see that this could be a different situation and how things could change as well so I believe it has taken a turn for the worse.

But this is just my opinion on what it looks like for the future, and when we are looking at this, we have to realize that sometimes things aren't always going up, sometimes things go worse and we could be going worse right now, this could be one of those situations. I could very well be very wrong too, and we could end up being much better.

I don't think you have to have sol if you want to join and indeed the sol network is shining right now with several dozens of meme coins listed and using their network.

In fact, in my observation, if the coin is good, there is no need to choose a meme that uses the Sol network because there are quite a lot of other coins that come with different networks that may have strong concepts and utilities and have hidden potential.

This also means that over time, the price of Solana will keep on increasing as people would need to buy Solana first in order to buy these meme coins from the dex. You can't, you can never know that and we have to just accept that we can't really predict these things at all. I understand that many people want to get involved and make those huge returns, but even the people who made huge returns back in the day knew what they will make, they just assumed and predicted, but you never know these things because it's impossible to know beforehand, you just do a prediction and hope that it hits, sometimes it does but most of the time it doesn't.

That is why you do not see people why start with 100 dollars, and end up with 100 million dollars, there are VERY few cases, like a dozen in all crypto, that started with a few thousand and became millionaires, via just one move. Hence, always be careful with what you are doing and don't rush, and just safely do this.
