Hi, I've tried some things in the past like being a chat mod, advertising, discord mod etc. but I wonder, is there a more or less serious way to make $2k/mo in the crypto world as a beginner? I also did bug bounty which went good but then came all those chads and took away the bugs lol. Anything is well appreciated! PS: Nothing which needs upfront investing, really (micro) jobs.
Thanks!

so if you want to be paid $2000 a month but not put in a full time job worth of work, you need to look for specialist work and have the skills to fulfill
you need to do something expert level to earn $50-$200 an hour as standard unskilled jobs only pay $12.50 and max $25 an hour
$2000 is 160 hours of $12.50(tax ignored)... 160 is 40 hours a week for 4 weeks so find something that offers atleast $12.50 an hour and has enough work to give 160 hours
$2000 is 80 hours of $25(tax ignored)... 80 is 20 hours a week for 4 weeks or 40 hours for 2 weeks so find something that offers atleast $25 an hour and has enough work to give 80 hours
$2000 is 40 hours of $50(tax ignored)... 40 is 10 hours a week for 4 weeks or 20 hours for 2 weeks or 40 hours for 1 week so find something that offers atleast $50 an hour and has enough work to give 40 hours
$2000 is 20 hours of $100(tax ignored)... 20 is 5 hours a week for 4 weeks or 10 hours for 2 weeks or 20 hours for 1 week so find something that offers atleast $100 an hour and has enough work to give 20 hours
$2000 is 10 hours of $200(tax ignored)... 10 is 2.5 hours a week for 4 weeks or 10 hours for 2 weeks or 10 hours for 1 week so find something that offers atleast $100 an hour and has enough work to give 10 hours

Beginner? not that much, you'll have to go through with the normal process of accepting those low wage jobs that you've mentioned.
If you want to do less but with that pay, one thing is to leverage those jobs. Hire someone to do it for you and split the salary that you'll get in there, you'll have lesser work time because someone is taking care it for you.
Others are telling this and says that it can be done so just rinse and repeat and do it many times. But it's not easy to be honest. Improve a high paying skill and you'll be able to make that.

Good comparison, thanks! But this doesn't really solve the dilemma because who pays $200/hr to a more or less beginner?

I've read about such stories which seem to work fine with remote jobs (e.g. dev etc.) but often lack credible sources (i.e. people can talk much on the web...). But I get the idea All you need to do is get a job.

They start with US$1,500 but of course in the regular 40 hour week. In my case the only current solution though besides continuing bug hunting. [moderator's note: consecutive posts merged]

But that's not me yet. Are there any crypto-specific jobs that a beginner could do or learn into that you may have in mind? I want to do online stuff and like crypto.

Making $2k/month in crypto is doable, but it usually depends on what you’re working with. Mining is one way to get there, but it really depends on the miner you’re using and your electricity costs. With a good ASIC miner, you could hit that target, especially if you’re mining profitable coins like Bitcoin or Kaspa.
Just keep in mind that profitability can vary with market prices and mining difficulty, so it’s important to do some research before jumping in.

Thank you for the helpful links, will have a look! Making $2k/month in crypto is doable, but it usually depends on what you’re working with. Unfortunately the electricity costs are pretty high here, also tried online services where you could rent such mining rigs. The first was given up very fast, the latter was a fun experience but is not really profitable in pools and only if you are a lucky solo miner as they obviously rent out for prices that are making them profit for renting out instead of using for themselves. So are you a tester or what?
Yes, sort of. I do bug bounties and (try to) uncover security vulnerabilities. Though it only pays when I find such and I am too bad for being hired in that. Worked really well few years ago.

But I get the idea You only have to dedicate time in studying further about that. And there is a strategy that you can do like outsourcing if you have been overloaded but I don't advise this to a newbie. You need to be an expert level to what you're doing before you pass on the job to another one but of course, with your supervision. I see people that does this, they apply and find clients especially in graphics and then after accepting such jobs, they'll look for an artist in the freelancing market to get the job done. I'm not sure what others will tell about that but it happens.
