I've been using cgminer 3.3.0 for quite a while but wanted to get onto one of the newer Scrypt coins.

I downloaded the 0.5.2 miner from vertcoin to set it up, and.... what the hell do I do?  How do I configure it?  The conf. file is only 1 kb, and it doesn't open, am I supposed to make a new .conf file in Notepad with my information in it or something?

The so-called tutorials on the vertcoin page gave me NONE of the needed details.  It's been so long since I initially set up cgminer that I forget how, each time I switched coins I just Copy and Pasted the startup .bat file and changed what needed changed.
