Most people are carried away because of Trump's campaign approach using Bitcoin and crypto adoptions as a soft spot in the hearts of his perceived voters, and at the moment just less than a month into office there is indeed a lot for him to attend to as a matter of national interest that is much higher than promoting Bitcoin or it adoptions, governance is way bigger than that and no matter how smart and experience Trump can be, he will still face the early office phobia which can be overwhelming for him in the first few weeks in office., people make such high demands on Trump and expect that the crypto market will be on fire by now because of the way he carries cryptocurrency as the center of his campaign and winning the election was like gaining license for adoptions for crypto in the US and many believe that this action and reality should push Bitcoin price to the moon by now.

However as we all know the downtrend of the market is one big opportunity that tells every investor to buy more not only buy more but buy at cheaper price so it's the best interest of every investor to seize the opportunity of buying more Bitcoins during the correction phase so as to make more profits after that. You should even know that even without trump bitcoin is still going to pump, I don't really like the idea of joining politic with bitcoin, I don't really trust politician's, they are just fighting for their own selfish interest. Predicting bitcoin price is just really difficult, because no one knows the price which bitcoin will be going within a specific period of time, but bitcoin price should be able to get to $150k this year, even if trump doesn't talk about bitcoin again.

Thats the million dollar question.  What will we see in terms of price this year.  Knowing the all time highs usually end up 500 days past the last halving we should wait and see what september/october brings us.  Thats the 500 day timeframe from the last halving.  I see over 200k but thats just me.  I dont think 150k is much to ask from here seeing we are already at 100k.

First yes any economical positive news will create demand which in turn will lead to bitcoin price rising whereas any negative news will cause FUD and will lead to the bitcoin price dropping. What I can deduce from you is the fact that you seem to center this that only news from trump or it’s country that have impact on bitcoin which is not all true. Yes the US in its capacity has the ability to actually effect world economy faster than some countries mainly due to the effect of dollars on the world economy but bitcoin isn’t centered there.

Let me give you a scenario, bitcoin dumped when China banned bitcoin mining, it also did dump when Russia cuts off the energy supply during its recent war with Ukraine, just few months ago bitcoin dumped when the rumors of German government selling off their supposed bitcoin circulated also dumped then with Japan increasing interests rates, this and many more had its effect on bitcoin just like the tariffs increment. So it’s actually an economical thing and not based on USA or trump alone.

I've heard an opinion that any positive/negative news and their influence on Bitcoin's price is much overrated. They do cause temporary movements, but in the long term they hardly matter, the price action moves in a cyclical manner, and all the news are nothing more than a noise, a distraction.
Whether this is true - I don't know, I guess we'll find out soon. If we don't go up within the next month or so (as, I think, the cyclical theory would suggest), maybe this theory could be deemed as false.
