Today I found out that multiple hosting providers are starting to build a hosting center in Nigeria, from what I've seen, the promised price for energies is $0.04/kWh for early investors.

I've seen some good hosting centers in Ethiopia, but this is probably a completely new one, what do you guys think? Will it be worth investing into it as an early investor and locking the low electricity price?

Nigeria's move into crypto hosting at this price level is a strong indicator of the industry's global expansion. The demand for affordable, large scale mining operations is growing and early adopters could benefit significantly. If this center delivers on its promises, it could attract major investors and position Nigeria as a key player in the market. This is worth watching closely!

From what I've read, you can just prepay the electricity as a form of investment and you will lock the electricity price with this prepay Smiley

High risk, high reward! This could be an incredible chance to get in early on a new mining hub. At $0.04/kwh, the cost efficiency is hard to ignore and Nigeria has the potential to scale quickly in this sector. If they provide stable power and secure operations this could be one of the best investment opportunities in mining right now. Definitely something i'd explore further!

This is an exciting development and the pricing is definitely appealing. Before jumping in, i'd want to see more details on the hosting center's infrastructure and long term sustainability. If everything checks out, this could be a great mining opportunity. Anyone else looking into this?

This is a scam. You'd have to be an idiot to buy into this. None of their offices or mining centers are real. Its all fictitious nonsense generated by AI. The only thing that's "real" is their "virtual office space", located in Austin, TX. Note its not an actual office, just an address for fake businesses to claim as their headquarters.

From another thread:

This didn't get OP "really thinking", as a matter of fact he used AI to generate this advertisement, there wasn't a thought in his head when he posted this. Not to mention the entire oneminers website seems to be AI generated.

This has all the hallmarks of a scam:

- Hosted mining service
- Domain registered 2/2/2024 (slightly more than 1 year -- not very long to be entrusting $10k+ to someone with)
- Unrealistic kwh electricity prices ($0.065 in the US? that's about half of the cheapest state, which is Utah; national average is $0.17) to inflate average daily profitability
- Tons of paid reviews & shill videos

I wouldn't trust it or anything else OP has to say. They've been shilling this website since May of last year... that seems to be their only purpose here.

and

but for anyone that is capable of basic research, you can find that oneminers provide a lot of proof photos and videos of the hosting locations... Cheesy

The "corporate office" in Texas is a virtual office, meaning they don't have an actual office.

There's no record of a "Circlehash LLC" actually existing.

From the website:

Quote
Texas is renowned for its low energy fees, which is why our facility is equipped to take full advantage of this competitive edge.

No, it is not. Energy fees in Texas are about par with the rest of the nation.

They don't post the address of their Texas hosting location, but they do claim to get electricity for $0.065 kwh, which is less than half as much as the state average.

The photo of their "3MW facility" is of the WA Parish Generating Facility, in Thompsons, Texas.

Finally, the image on their Contact page, which I guess is supposed to represent their Texas mining farm, is actually located in Nebraska.

So yeah, this is a complete scam.
