That exchange still exists, I've had an account there for a long time but I haven't used it for a long time and I haven't tried to deposit there yet, I just created an account there.

If I understand correctly, in order to be given 40$, do you need to have a YO balance in your wallet on yobit? Because if so, I'm not eligible for it either.

Besides checking it myself and asking all my friends who are long-time users of Yobit, they did not find any free token, and besides, if they are going to have promotions or will be giving a bonus or giveaways, they usually send it through their newsletter.
I whitewash their emails, so I am still actively receiving their newsletter, but there was no newsletter about this free YO10 token. OP will have to prove what he posted, or many will suspect that he is taking us for a ride.

So meaning for now it seems like what the op is saying is like misinformation in this section regarding the update if there is anything new on the Yobit exchange,
in short fake news because no source or reference has been given regarding this matter.

Can you post a screenshot of your free token? I have a six-year-old account on Yobit and have actively traded there for two years. I don't find any free YO10 on my balance. I'd like to see other members testimony that they have YO10 in their account.
And even if you have that free token and trade it, we have no guarantee that you can cash it out, given the scamming history of Yobit.
I've also checked the chat and there's no mention of this YO10 token.

Imagine my surprise to learn that yobit exchange still exist. Luckily I had my password and checked as well. Like you, I didn't qualify for any token airdrops.

I haven't heard of yobit exchange for years now even on Crypto Twitter and doesn't pop up in any data that has to do with CEX. Yobit probably likes to serve their small userbase since they can trade the shittest of token shitters over there.

I believe there was no task required to be eligible, it was more like a giveaway. You could also sell it on the same exchange.
Last year, they were giving away these coins as well, and some people received a good amount, with some managing to sell them for $500 or more.

but i did not get any airdrop tokens just showing some worthless tokens even these are not listed in another exchanges,

I'm an old user of Yobit have traded over $3k there and had an account for 7 to 8 years but there's no free token they usually announced every giveaways, maybe there are requirements and recent deposits which I don't have since I stopped using my Yobit account 4 years because of the too many scam reports.
This is one of the oldest exchange in the industry but unfortunately they are a notorious scammer.

It's shocking to me this exchange still in existence, if I could still remember back then, yobit was one of the first centralized exchange who listed so many failed projects from time to time. There was a time the exchange shot down from operations due to scam accusations on them.

I don't trust this airdrop cos it seems to me as a bait to attract more inexperienced crypto lover to them to deposit more into their platform and trade their shitty coins.

Those mentioning that they found nothing on their wallet balance is telling me that this information is not clear. Maybe to some eligible users that had deposited some certain sums on their exchange.

There are quite a lot of models like that on the exchange, if I'm on Binance, I like the angpau program which is clear and can be claimed immediately. If I use a task to do several items or many, I'd rather skip it. It takes up time and there are also many participants. The portion that can be obtained is also very small. Yeah it didn't hurt to check. It was even a reminder for me personally to get back to trading again, something I wanted to do for a while. I may even try to do a little trading on this shitty exchange as well; since I had some tiny balance there which I would like to try to increase and then withdraw (if possible at all)

I have a Yobit account but I haven't opened it for a long time because in the past there were lots of scam issues that hit this exchange. and I don't remember the last time I opened an account and made transactions on this exchange. but why don't they just give USDT? Can't believe lots of people are actually retrieving their password in yobit. I have seen the people complaining on yobit chat how hard to get their account back lol all for this airdrop now people are coming back. And when they log in back they were surprised they didn't get some airdrop.

Somehow that airdrop they made create some sort of exposure to them since imagine those dormant account became active for checking if they get something from them.

Also what to expect right? For sure they would never give anything to old inactive accounts. Those words is to hype people and to make them see what's happening in that exchange. Somehow they are successful with that, but it didn't change the fact that they are still same as before and would rather stick on reputable exchange rather than thinking about going back on Yobit.

if active people's received airdrop, it means very small amount of peoples are eligible because not more peoples are still using yobit exchange,
it's useless exchange now, why people's have to use it? if they can not trade their desired tokens. it was a bit difficult to retrieved my account also.

I think those complains are from users trying to recover their lost accounts (lost password or something like that) and that's because Yobit support has always been terrible and not helpful. Otherwise if you had your password, you just log into your account without any problem.
That's what I did anyway, I already had my password and 2FA and simply entered it and regained access without any issues.
