At the end of last year, I experienced a streak of unsuccessful bets and decided to take a break. However, on Saturday, I placed two bets: one betting on both teams to win and both teams to score goals. I placed a relatively higher bet than I’m used to.
However, I noticed that when I bet with lower amounts, I was winning more often. So, reducing your bankroll might be a good strategy to rebuild your confidence in your decisions. You can then gradually increase your bankroll as you gain more confidence and experience in the game.
And remember, increasing your bet to recover losses is a sign of addiction. Take a moment to think, stop and come back after at least one week.

I have never tried to gamble aggressively after a loss just to recover what I've lost and I don't think I'm going to take a break after losing a betting streak because I always make sure that I gamble will what I can afford to lose and I don't even gamble frequently. The most I can do is to reduce my bankroll during that period
If you don't gamble aggressively after losing then I would definitely say it is a good aspect of your gambling. On the other hand, when gamblers lose money, they gamble excitedly and make one mistake after another, you refrain from gambling at that time, which is one of the best qualities of an ideal gambler. When you see some people's gambling, it seems that they are controlled gambling, that is, they are not gambling under their control, but gambling is controlling them. I am not saying that a gambler will only win when he gambles but I mean that he should know well when to stop gambling considering the win or loss. Most gamblers do not know when to stop gambling. Those who can stop gambling at the right time are more likely to succeed in gambling but those who are overly emotional often lose.

Not only when experiencing consecutive defeats but when making a bet and it ends in defeat, we must be able to take time or pause to rest because for example the option taken is to bet again, it is possible that it will only make us lose control of ourselves and that can be a disaster for us, therefore no one suggests continuing to gamble.
We must be able to think that winning in gambling is not something that can be obtained for sure, so we should not gamble continuously, the limits of discipline must be something that is held because this allows us not to gamble excessively.

People think that the more you play, the more chances of winning. Even after a losing streak, they will continue because they believe eventually they are going to win which has some truth in it except you would be losing money the more you play and try to win until eventually you lose all money. At some point you need to think whether the winning amount is worth the money you have lost from gambling already.

I believe this is a very important topic that needed to be discuss by gamblers here because our actions dictates our future...
sometimes when we’re on a losing streak, we tend to get more aggressive in trying to recover our losses, but that’s often the reason why our losses grow even bigger, and in some cases, it can even lead to gambling addiction. So, who here actually takes a break after a losing streak? Or do most just keep going despite the losses?

Normally as a good gambler once you noticed that you are losing too much in gambling you are meant to advice yourself and take a break, that's the only way you can prevent often losses and gambling addiction. because if you continue chasing after losses that is how you would still going to lose more money. It's essential to always gamble with the amount we can afford to lose, because gambling is not a get rich quick scheme, once you view gambling as an entertainment or having fun you would like playing gambling without a harm or losses.

In my experience of losing money at gambling (Just a little money), I just kept playing when there was still money left that I used to gamble, hoping that it would grow again and recoup my losses. But in the end, it will only continue to decrease until the money I use to gamble is gone.
Then I started to rest and reflect on why I didn't quit in the first place when so few defeats happened. Of course, this is because of my dissatisfaction and not thinking back to the repeated defeats that could happen and exhaust everything. The greed to regain victory made me forget where I had to stop.
After that, I started to reflect and think about the mistakes I made. There is no management, no limit of risk that I avoid so losing everything without remaining.

Not a break as such, but playing less frequently and reviewing the game more, as well as studying the opponents (I'm talking about poker obviously). I don't see much sense in taking a break because if you are simply in a bad streak, understood as a series of mathematically negative results, playing less is not going to make it go away sooner. But playing less helps you to carry better the psychological factor, yes.

I’m reading of the most reponse that they do take break but not me. I only take a break from gambling when I run out of money to gamble with or when I’ve reached the winnings I want. So I don’t stop gambling just because of losing streak I only stop when I’m satisfied with my winnings or have no more money to play.
That is kind of stressful of taking breaks when you have nothing left anymore. I don't advise to continue with that way of taking breaks as you gamble because it will surely drain not only your pockets but also your emotion and could have been worse if you're not good at controlling yourself. Losing streak won’t stop me—it only makes me want to gamble more as long as I still have money to bet.
That's dangerous to be honest and you need to rethink about that. Taking breaks is a must.

A few months ago I had a bad streak in slots. I lost a fairly significant amount of money for myself, but not critical. For several days in a row I was unlucky, to say the least. Then I decided that it was time to stop for some indefinite time. And the result was not long in coming. I almost managed to win back what I had lost before, like a complete idiot. Still, I think that breaks are necessary, because you need to collect your thoughts, reconsider your approach to the game.

There is a similar thread about a losing streak, where I have already written a post about the method that I use to get out of this situation. In general, this can be called a "casino model" or, if you prefer, a "careful game" - as opposed to aggressive play, which is likely to lead to even greater failures. At the same time, taking a break from betting is also a good way to distract yourself and break your losing streak. I choose one option or another based solely on my mood or circumstances. Sometimes you just need to take a break.

Losing straight is a sign to stop. Of course, we never find it right because in our minds is to gamble and win. Sometimes we neglect to see that taking some breaks is needed in the sense that it would help us determine if we're still on our goal or already out. Having 1-2 days of breaks is enough; at least we have time to reconcile and may find out what is wrong.
Let us think that gambling is not our source of income and that we need to gamble every day.

The way to deal with it may differ because people who are already addicted will find it much harder to stop even though they are experiencing a losing streak, while people who are not addicted may find it much easier to stop after experiencing a previous gambling loss. Last week I lost a bet on the Real Madrid match so for now I haven't decided to bet again because I think losing a large amount of money in gambling is not a good thing so I will see a better mood moment if I want to bet again. Different people may have different ways of dealing with gambling but for me personally gambling is something that is difficult to do if I don't have a special budget so when the budget runs out I will stop gambling for a while and will continue when the budget is filled again.

Let us think that gambling is not our source of income and that we need to gamble every day. A person who continues to focus on gambling is often difficult to digest every rational thought, especially when they continue to try to win when they lose, so indeed taking a break from gambling activities is a wise step and can return to normalizing our minds in playing apart from maintaining financial balance, if we continue to force gambling without a break it will only increase our losses, and that's why the break can also be our opportunity to evaluate the defeat factor and also try to find the right solution to be able to win later.

If I'm on a losing streak, I'll definitely take a break. If I keep losing, I'm out of luck. If I take a break and start again, maybe the luck will be better and I will win. But losing repeatedly, if I continue to bet to recover losses, more losses will be incurred. Now from my real experience, I kept losing in a casino game and bet excitedly and lost a lot of money.
Although I don't like casino games, I like sports betting. If talking about sports betting, I bet on 1-2 match a day, which I keep betting even if I lose.

Those players who place bets very often will think about a break, I suppose that too frequent bets can simply tire the player. But if I place several bets a week, sometimes it can be one bet a week, or even several weeks if I do not have enough time for this, then I will not take any breaks, even if I get some kind of losing streak. I think that such a betting regime is quite justified, because in case of a loss I have enough time to evaluate my mistakes and to approach the next bet without unnecessary emotions.

Doesnt matter whether you do get involved with sports betting or casino games on which the priority on here is about on the money that you are spending or simply talking about bankroll management. The main difference on here is that whenever you do deal up with casino games on which the duration of losing a session or game is really that fast in compared when you do make out some bets on sports or even just simply playing card games on which it will be still taking a while before you do lose up on everything. Taking up a break at the time or moment that you do have that consecutive lose will really be that crucial or something which is really that needed. If you arent that careful or mindful about on the actions that you are making specially on handling money then most likely you would be ending up on being poor, since you have busted up everything that you do have in terms of finances. Usually people do make out some realizations at the moment that they are on tough situation and not really that minding much before things do happen. Losing streak could really happen and if you wont be that wary about into the situation or conditions that you are in, then most likely you will be having that kind of behavior on just like everyone else.

Sure it doesn't take away the losses or even stop you from losing more rather it helps you come back with a refreshed mind maybe change some tactics, bring your risk lower and probably stay positive for the main time. I've been there before and after leaving for some time it still continued so the only thing here is to wager on both sides to reduce the risk of losing everytime.

Having 1-2 days of breaks is enough; at least we have time to reconcile and may find out what is wrong. Quiting from something after loosing so many times is a better thing to do to get yourself relief from certain pressure, it's never a good thing to keep doing something at loss repeatedly because it ruins your mental health and financial state at that moment in time. It seems like working under pressure, it would never be successful and if it does, there must be some slight errors in the results which is always perfect to perform any tasks at hand with ease of mind, same goes with gambling.

It is better to stop the game when experiencing a series of defeats than to be ambitious to be able to return the capital that has been spent. If you decide to continue the game, it is likely that emotions will not be controlled and will continue to double the bets. This will certainly continue to drain the money we have. The best decision that I often make until now is to stop for a moment waiting for the right moment until the mood is calm enough and play casually
