etf is not the only thing that drives bitcoin movement, there are still other things that move bitcoin... and now it seems that there is no news that really moves the price of bitcoin and that makes bitcoin look sideways, but that is normal in the market, we can not expect that it will continue to be on a positive trend, there must be a time when the price of bitcoin will be sideways.
ETF news actually did cause some reaction in the market, a major one in that matter, so I believe even if it can't cause it, why does the market react again now in a big way, both positively and negatively? It can still show a sign of it. Just imagine if the institutional investors decide to dump all that they bought and hold it; if that won't affect the price of bitcoin, although I see and believe that the community and holders have grown thick skin to survive, which makes them resist some kind of news which could have caused great panic in the market.

Due to my observation since EFT I noticed BTC don't make any movement during weekend mostly range during the weekend building liquidity and on Sunday during NYKLZ you'll that seeing volume injection then market open on Monday is when you'll see proper volume kick in, I miss when major crypto pumps during weekend but now weekend trading are full of uncertainty and too boring.
Who else has noticed this pleade do share your thoughts of how you've adapte to the market recently.
We should know trading for what it is before now, there are lots of uncertainties about engaging in trading, when you trade, you are taking risk on it even if you're very sure if the speculation made, there is no cognitive evidence to proof the certainty to what your later end about that trade may be, the market can change at any time as whales are dumping and buying, economic news popping in and many other factors which are still part of the constitutes that determines the market price, base on demand and supply, what you have seen may not be the same others would have viewed their traditing pattern, but there's no how we can't experience having one or two things to figure out when it comes to the pattern of trading and how we speculate on the weekly chart candles.

I haven't really given much thought to or noticed that weekend volitility has shifted to being a less volitile climate. This is pure speculation but after reading that and thinking of the ETFs it makes me think that now the major price swings are on the corporate schedule now because of the ETF trading that is going on? Not sure if that is why but that would be my guess. That or maybe Bitcoin just enjoys its weekends relaxing with some digital vodka on the rocks haha.

It is true that ETFs are not the only thing driving bitcoin volatility , but we need to acknowledge that the money flowing into the market through ETFs is larger and more dominant than any other route . If you pay attention, you will also easily notice that the trading volume in the market is lower on weekends , so I agree with what the OP said: since the ETF was approved , the market has often become more boring on weekends . and now it seems that there is no news that really moves the price of bitcoin and that makes bitcoin look sideways, but that is normal in the market, we can not expect that it will continue to be on a positive trend, there must be a time when the price of bitcoin will be sideways.
Bitcoin movements depend largely on supply and demand, don't just rely on news and think that's the only factor affecting the market. That makes bitcoin look like a purely speculative asset with no intrinsic value and like a manipulated market.

I've adjusted by using weekends to analyze charts, set alerts and prepare for the Monday liquidity injection. Instead of trading during low volume periods, I focus on identifying key support and resistance levels. This way, I'm ready to capitalize on stronger moves when volume kicks in.
Don't trade BTC. Just hodl and consistently top up the orders to get more of it. You will thank me later

Correct observation! ETF-driven institutional flows now dominate, reducing weekend volatility as liquidity builds for Monday. Key strategy: Watch for weekend consolidation zones and position ahead of Monday’s volume surge. Adapt or get left behind! 🚀

Swing to the left, to the right, and then one up We move sideways for quite a while, and I do think that would be the case till something would change the sentiment. We need something to breach what is already set in place.

It sounds like you are talking about a trading strategy that would generally be more useful if used on coins other than Bitcoin because I don’t think it would be good enough to trade Bitcoin at this time even if you could eventually buy back in. But it would be much better if you were willing to hold your Bitcoin and use the strategy on other coins with a higher profit target over a period that you believe in. However, given the current market changes, I think focusing on identifying support levels within the market could be a very good move at this time as well.

BTC is better to be hodled, I agree. And be it a dip or a correction - we would still be using this as an opportunity. That's how it always was and probably will be.

I will say no that he is not talking about Bitcoin because trading Bitcoin for short term can only make us buy back in a higher price and possibly regret our actions, i agree with you getting more of Bitcoin is the best than trading, but is funny how people can use Bitcoin with different motive.

This is happening due to a lot more people now becoming involved with Bitcoin and due to much more money moving around by very serious players of the market. Now if you ask me I have no idea if I prefer how it used to be or this kind of Bitcoin that feels more stable. Hype will likely decrease as Bitcoin rallies become normal to everybody. But Bitcoin getting more stable is a good thing in many ways. I have seen and heard many people refrain from purchasing Bitcoin due to its crazy volatility. This will create some space for them to fit in too. But then the people who were here particularly for the volatility may seek other opportunities. Is that bad or is it a good thing? I believe it is a good thing mostly.
Bitcoin needed to become more serious. It has been considered a toy for way too long, it needs legitimacy and it is slowly building a very strong one now. Arguments such as Bitcoin is dying will become less possible to exist if most big players of the economy are in it too. On the other hand however, big players becoming part of the Bitcoin market means they can crash it to their liking too. Because be serious, none of us normal people has the power of a billion Dollars or more. We can stick together as thousands of Bitcoiners moving dozens of thousands of Dollars each and try, but ultimately a lot of people will likely get out and our power becomes again none.
If you want a comparison, look at Bitcoin versus Altcoins currently. Altcoins are considered a joke for the most part by many. Anybody who has been here for years knows they are mostly toys to play around with. But just like toys, they may end up breaking and becoming impossible to play with every now and then. Bitcoin is a serious tool built with quality, long lasting materials. You can move it around, throw it into a fence and it can still be used and repaired. I do not want Bitcoin to be a sensible toy.

We can feel happy to see this day the market show a good movement by Bitcoin increase. If this is continue, there will be a chance to see the price will be back to $99k. But if there is another correction come, we may see the price will be down like before. If that is happen, we do not know how low the price can go. We can only hope the price will not below than $90k because that can make many people panic and will sell instantly their Bitcoin. Hopefully we have more support comes to Bitcoin and will resist the price not down too deep.
Seems like that didn't happen so far, but maybe it will happen, I am not so sure. We do not have to have anything marginally higher just to feel good about bitcoin. We know that it's a correction and we know that it is not going to end up with much later on neither, we can't really make it change anytime soon. We can't really see this being a bigger deal, we are not going to end up with much trouble if we invest now anyways, it may not go up quickly today, but it will go up and we all know that. Because of this, we have to make sure that things do not get any crazier, keep it short and just invest and hold. Maybe it will be 120k+ in a week, maybe it won't do that for another month or two, eventually we will get there so it is not important when it happens.

Were you expecting things to be the same after the ETF approval? There was no way things were going to be the same again. Bitcoin will only react base on the market activities, and on weekends most people don't engage in buying and selling of bitcoin. Another thing is bitcoin has gradually come to mainstream, so you won't expect it to keep behaving the way it usually does in the early days when it wasn't this popular. Now that bitcoin has become widely adopted, it will be difficult to keep seeing those old characteristics it used to display.

Thank you all for your insights, recently I've try to adapt to the market condition so I won't get caught in the wrong side of the market me for weekends I just look for setup for a weekly movement and after marking my zones during the weekend it takes weeks sometimes a month to get to my zone.

I do hope such people would try things differently and would choose what suits them best currently. Because the stability of your funds and their potential is at stake.

that is the reason why crypto is classified as a high risk investment, because crypto price movements are full of uncertainty. I understand what you mean and in fact the bitcoin price movement recently tends to be stagnant or even declining, and as you said at the end of the week there is no longer the big pump as usual.

If I am not mistaken, when the Bitcoin Spot ETF was approved, the price movement increased even though before the announcement was made, the direction of the price movement started to get signals that it would increase sharply. In conditions like this, I do not blame the situation because of the ETF even though I got one article with an analysis that I will not mention the source that because of the ETF the situation is like this. Can we be principled on the principle that we are not always in the desired state.

That is right, the ETF news itself made bitcoin go up without even it starting, that was an important situation and I am sure that people are looking for more news like that as well. I am not saying we are going to see things changing, but that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with much more on the long run as well. In the end, things aren't really that crazy right now, because we do not have that type of news at the moment, and sometimes there are news that will make it go up and we could be waiting for that, or sometimes it doesn't even require a news, it just goes up all by itself and we could be waiting for that too. In the end, whatever the reason will end up being, the price of bitcoin will go up again.

We have been able to understand the market trend for a long time. When the market reaches the new ATH, it starts to turn slightly downward and we can understand very well that the probability of the market falling below 90K is very low. If there is no major bad news, the market will definitely turn from this situation. We can expect the market to start becoming bullish again in the next few days.
Investors still have a positive idea about the market, which is why the probability of the market going down is low. I think the market situation will be somewhat stable at the moment. It is very likely to be between 95k to 100K. We can see it surpassing its previous ATH again in the next few months.

There is no transformation especially, BTC price going quiet is quite normal. I can remember similar frustrations of the impatient and those wanting to trade in many years previous. It is surprising perhaps, the contrast is so large from fast spikes to flat constricted range but even this is what makes BTC unpredictable and nobody gets the easy game they want on demand. We have more main market involvement, deliberate buy programs trying their best not to stir the price or raise interest especially. If people, companies or trusts are buying billions its in their interests to take consistent action to avoid others buying ahead to resell to them. I just think the lows are most reliable not the highs that are always mentioned, if lows are in order then its a quietly confident market. BTC did just fine over the last year even if it took its sweet time
