People are paranoid, USDC has been dominating in hyperliquid since long ago, Native Market the issuer of USDH is also getting acquired by Coinbase. So whether it's USDH or USDC that won't make any difference.
On the other hand it will have the potential to boost liquidity into hyperliquid, the sole reason why market is bullish and HYPE is pumping 20% maybe extending support to various blockchains because of Circle's seamless CCTP bridge.

I never expected something like this to happen tbh.  This is starting to make me think that HL could operate in the US in a couple of years or so.  They also have a legal team set in place to talk with the proper authorities and figure out what they could do legally.

This is really exciting times for HL users and the community behind it...  As for the price of HYPE, I like what I see but I think it could still go down for a bit.

I never expected something like this to happen tbh.  This is starting to make me think that HL could operate in the US in a couple of years or so.  They also have a legal team set in place to talk with the proper authorities and figure out what they could do legally.

This is really exciting times for HL users and the community behind it...  As for the price of HYPE, I like what I see but I think it could still go down for a bit.

Meanwhile, HYPE is already above $58, meaning its price is very close to its previous ATH, which will likely be reached as early as today. Of course, a correction is quite possible after such a rally, but I don’t think it will be a deep one. It’s also worth noting that on longer timeframes, HYPE still looks bullish, and I expect the bulls to be able to pump it to $90 in the foreseeable future.

It keeps pumping as the more money is moving to the hyperliquid ETF. There are around $25.5M is going to the hyperliquid ETF, and it's triggering people to keep buying it. People are now starting to speculatve each hype may worth $100 in the future.

Beside that regulators are starting to eye Hyperliquid to be as big as Robinhood. I won't be surprised if it will be pumping even higher in long term.

One of these whales is a guy called Loracle.  His down around 28 million with his short on HYPE and he keeps adding to the position as HYPE goes higher.

Overall, this guy is clearly bearish, as he holds short positions on many assets. However, in the case of HYPE, he clearly miscalculated. His current short position on Hype now has an unrealized PnL of -$19 million, since his average entry price was around $45. Of course, there is a chance that the HYPE price could pull back to that level; moreover, the fact that this trader uses very low leverage protects him from liquidation and massive losses at the moment.

^   He was airdropped a ton of HYPE.  So am not really sure why he's shorting HYPE like that with size as he's really a dev who launched a project called HPUMP which was instrumental for getting spot liquidity volume during the second points season a couple of years ago. 

Those were the days.  Really had a lot of fun during that time.  And I was accruing points for the airdrop.

Maybe he’s hedging, or maybe he has insider information that another deep correction is coming to the market. Either way, HYPE is currently trading above $62, and this whale’s uPnL is already nearly -$30 million. If HYPE continues its upward trend, I think he’ll soon have to adjust this position or cut some of his losses.

^  The guy who's shorting is Loracle.  One of the early guys who started trading at Hyperliquid.  He was airdropped a ton of HYPE for launching HL's version of Pump Fun and for helping get a lot of spot activity in at the spot market.  Season 2 points season was really a fun time.  It started around June and ended around Sept - Oct, 2024. 

Anyway, Loracle is in no way, shape or form, an insider.  Lolol.  Far from it.

Loracle is finally closing his short position on HYPE, albeit slowly.  He lost around 30m USD on that trade.  Like wow...  Talk about pride.  He could've just went long or bought spot HYPE and stayed away from his computer.  Lolol.

Anyway, HYPE is hitting all time highs again, going over 68 USD then going a tad below it for now.  It's starting to feel like HYPE could go over 100 bucks in a few days.

It's crazy yeah. He went from 42m USD PnL to the - 800k PnL in less than two weeks. He should have close his position when he was a the top, but this also tells us how greedy the whales is. I'm wondering if there may be another whales who is also trying to short hype.

It's hard to guess what he thought to miss 42 millions of profit. So i expecting more shorts will be liquidated very soon. It's interesting to see how high each hype will worth.

It sounds $100 is getting closer. This may be the next BNB in the making.

I don't make any posts on this thread, but HYPE has been on my radar ever since the bear market has started and I think I've said it in some of my posts that I'll accumulate some of this coin during the bear market season.

While the market is moving sideways, HYPE is the one coin that's going up in price. I said it in the past, and I will say it again. HYPE is the "Binance of Perp DEX" therefore, there will be much attention that will be poured towards this project and it's both positive and negative. All of it will affect the price of the token itself. Right now, we're seeing new ATH price of it which is kind of surprising. HYPE is what many consider as "Discovery Zone" where it touched that price for the first time therefore we don't know what will be the resistance at all.

$100 per coin? I think it will but can they please dump it for a moment so that I can store some of it for the long-term?

^  I've been raving about this coin for the last couple of years.  There was ample time to buy below 30 bucks.  We'd be very lucky to see it go around that price range again.  But it's looking more like a long shot rn.

As for 100 per HYPE, it's looking like it could do it this year but I'm trying to play it down.  I don't wanna be disappointed. 

All in all, try to imagine how high HYPE could be in a couple of years...

Just like any other trader, whales can make mistakes. The key is to realize when you’ve made a mistake and learn from it, rather than going against the market. Since this whale closed the trade at a loss, it means he acknowledged his mistake. That’s better than trying to trade against the trend, as James Wynn did on impulse after a major loss.

If someone opens a counterposition at the peak following significant losses, they’re likely doing so because they’re letting their emotions get the better of them. However, in the case of HYPE, things aren’t all that bad. Yes, the coin may pull back slightly now, but overall, the bullish trend remains intact, and there’s potential for growth to both $90 and beyond $100.

When other coins fall in price, HYPE is even stronger, managed to survive in its highest position even though it is now experiencing a correction due to the market crash, the situation can improve if the market trend is green again --- then there is no possibility that $100 / HYPE will soon be reached predictions from the past Hype is an altcoin that has good fundamentals.
