Does Valentine's Day in Crypto always lead to Red Charts?

Valentine's Day is approaching, and it looks like every crypto user or trader will be wearing red this time due to the current red market conditions. Lol

Hopefully, there will be Valentine's Day crypto events or exchange promotions to lift our spirits. Although I've only seen this one event from my exchange and I would welcome more if there is any

I would  also appreciate opinions on Bitcoin's movement before Valentine's Day, perhaps based on historical charts from the same period.

I think any holidays big holidays makes the market bleed, Valentine's day, Christmas and New year.
Most of the time when this holidays come the market bleed or drops down might just be a coincidence or maybe investors are just taking out a portion of their investment to celebrate.

You have a valid point. I think it's better to sell before these holidays and buy back during the holiday if even if one isn't going to celebrate.
Although, I'm not sure if it's always gonna work out. But if worth risking.

I checked the charts on tradingview (daily timeframe) for 2022, 2023 and 2024 and in all those years, Bitcoin has ended the day in a green candle. Some years even have green candles for the remainder of the week.

But things are a lot different now and there's a new administration in the US + Bitcoin is at the highest price it has been in the years before (excluding late 2024).

It's just superstition, but if it really happens that on a holiday like valentine day, the market become red, I think it's mainly because some people cashed out to buy something.
or some people just decided to close their position because it's holiday and they can't afford to have market volatility when they aren't in touched with their trading account.

but overall, even if it's red, eventually will recover back, it's nothing but just a little price deviation that will become normal in no time.

What is certain is that the market is waiting and seeing data on the growth of people's purchasing power and of course the market will also react to the certainty after the data release results were submitted by the authorized agency even though it coincides with Valentine's Day.

I don’t think Valentines Day has any significance towards the price of crypto or any type of asset if I am honest. Maybe certain candy & flowers companies do better than usual during this period but I think that’s it.

Crazy to think that way and maybe they are just basing on the color of season thing just link it to the market then have that unverified thoughts that the market will go that way.

But for sure that's not actually happening in the scene sine provably that  investor have separate balance for pleasure and also separate their funds for investment. If we look at market sentiment, it looks good now. Many investors believe the market is starting to recover, and that is evident from the market capitalization that is increasing smoothly. If there is a correction, that is normal, we don't need to worry.

It's funny that Valentine's Day can make the market shaky, I think something else will happen in a few months, maybe the chairman of the SEC will hold a press conference regarding interest rate policy.. maybe the interest is what the op above meant and wants to know how the BTC price is going and its impact on the market.

If more people received crypto as a valentine gift the charts would be green. Remarkable days like 14th February can affect trades based on the activities surrounding it by top exchanges and crypto extablishment. The recent action of Binance and Okx handing out gifts to special community members made a bullish change in the market with bnb doing 15% increase within the first hour. The market will experience a down trend, only, when people sell coins to purchase their loved ones gifts.

That's not what the historical data says about February 14 aka Valentine's Day. And like I said earlier, today needed with a green candle even though it's not a really big green candle. But you're right about most holidays being days with either red candles or very thin activities on the order books.

without looking at the previous charts of bitcoin or any other crypto the market seems to be greenish in a reddish period which shows that it appreciated as the event was or is going on but perhaps I'm very confident that all the market will become very bullish soon as a result of all the news that will be held soon.

During the holiday periods the market always have a bearish move as people do make sells other of their holdings in other to satisfy themselves and family during those periods but as for this current event it hold no water in my opinion because it's just a day event.

So unfortunately today is the 14th of February Valentine's Day and the crypto market seems to be very bullish at the moment as against your ops predictions because from what you said the crypto market is supposed to wear a red bath which means a negative and dumped market situation, but at the moment Bitcoin price seems to be a bit stable and making sure that it does not lose a certain price benchmark.let look forward to some exciting time and days ahead because market is about to turn some particular dimensions which seems to be a bit bigger than what we expected but that could also come with a long period of waiting time.

I think red can happen anytime and anyday of the year; it really depends on the news and how the whales react to the news or the whales decide to manipulate the market, and there's no particular day to make it happen for them, but it will be more noticeable if the red happens on a day where the color red is very prominent, like a Valentine's Day.

The timing is also right during the holidays and usually the market on Saturday and Sunday is always in red condition and on the other hand boredom is also born when the BTC price position is still sideways. Previously, investors may have become too optimistic when there was an increase or panic when the price fell, resulting in impulsive decisions. Personally, now is not a good time to sell and HODL is better because the long-term potential of BTC investment is very large and those who try to play short will end up wasting their money.

I didn't see that it did yesterday. The market was stable, calm and nice. And that means that it's not always bloody when the valentines day comes.

But with this, this is right. There is no actual connection if the V-day is coming. The market is reliant to itself and as we can see, it's also sometimes moved based on how the global markets does.
