There doesn't seem to be any updates on restricted countries as previously the casino representative said they would update here if there was any news, but it seems that news has not come yet and until now I can't access it because the country is on the restricted list.

Seeing the list of countries, I would prefer if they would have told us which few countries are allowed to gamble on "Otherworld" casino and it would have been easier instead of looking and searching for our country in the banned list 

There must be a strict legal requirement to ban so many countries or they only prefer gamblers from a few countries only. If you are not allowing so many people all over the world to access your casino, you are basically restricting your income and opportunity for the growth of the casino.

Actually, no need to search, when you try to open their casino and you are from a prohibited country, their system automatically gives information that they are not available in our region.
They want to comply with the regulations that bind them, so they should consider the target market they will get. Only if in the future the situation can interfere with the income and growth of the casino, they should have some studies on the list of countries they prohibit.

Maybe their license is different from theirs? It doesn't make sense to exclude some countries that explicitly allow gambling though. If that does happen it means their license provider is a step below other casinos (unless most of them obtain dubious licenses). If anything, some casinos don't explicitly ban users from accessing their website but will give you a notice when you create a new account there.

It's possible they will obtain a permit specifically for your country if there is enough demand for that.

Has anyone managed to visit the casino and not find themselves from a country on the restricted list? All the comments here are about the licensing provider, as most countries are blacklisted. There's no explanation for all the loopholes, but the casino is still in its early stages of development and still needs more work.

Their choice to use the forum was good, but they need to quickly address some of the errors to avoid damaging their reputation. Today, the signature campaign has stopped, and I believe it was unnecessary since the product isn't even ready yet, even in a beta version.

I like the idea of a real estate themed casino, but is it more about ranking up and the real estate is just a symbol of your rank or can you sell/buy or even rent these fantasy real-estates? If that is the case then the concept would seem to touch upon a NFT-like thing and might even find a following among the NFT community.

As far as I can tell the games follow the same concepts as their non-fantasy-real-estate versions. Are they also been vetted as provably fair?

I think people should know what they need to avoid. If they are in restricted regions then automatically they should not think about using VPN since this will just put them on risk to get their account frozen and their funds will be confiscated.

But if they are in allowed region I guess they should not worry about using VPN.

Still if they are doubting and want to make sure that there's no technical issues will came better not to use this and just gamble without using any tools which they afraid that can compromised them.

It's been some months since OP's account was last active as well. But since they have restarted their signature campaign, I suppose it's only a matte of time before they come back up. Let's hope there will be an update for the community.

As affirmed in their terms of service as well, VPN is not allowed. Let's hope there will be an update from the team soon.

Other than the relaunch of the signature campaign, there don't seem to be any other updates. Even regarding the license, I'm still seeing the same initial message. I am still banned although i can access all other major platforms. This is the message

"Due to licensing restrictions, we cannot accept players from your country. If you’re using a VPN, please disable it and try again."

Maybe they are targeting specific audience or have inclusive product.

As much as I believe what they said that a user or potential user should make sure to read the terms and conditions and also ensure to read the list of restricted countries to be sure their country isn't on the list before signing up and making any deposit on the casinos, explicitly stating that defaulter's fund will be confiscated I think is too harsh a punishment, why not the casino simply stop any one from restricted country from signing up and depositing to the casino by simply implementing a feature that blocks potential users from restricted countries access to the casino?

It is very classic warning on important practice of reading ToS and understanding it well in order to have proper practice with your account, money and other activities from using VPN or not as well as gambling activities. It is not too hard to obey ToS or even basic things written in FAQs of a gambling site.

I agree with you if a user does ToS break intentionally or unintentionally, the company reacts the same way. They don't tolerate any user practice that is strongly and early emphasized as not allowed in ToS as well as severe consequences later.

There are still many people who are lazy to read ToS because of the long text and do not make a little effort to read it.
Violating ToS is clear in its consequences where they will face problems later, especially in ToS there is a clear statement where the use of VPN is not recommended, so it is better to avoid it.
Even though there are casinos that are friendly to VPNs, and someone uses VPN to play at the casino, they are actually still vulnerable where the casino will have a problem with it later.

They could have easily done that, but for some strange reasons they don't. In fact, most of the casinos does something similar. They allow users to access the site from a restricted region and even sometimes allow account registration, later banning and confiscating the deposit, LOL. If they really have problems with certain regions, then they should be the ones to implement a system that prevents users from accessing the site from the restricted region in the first place. The use of VPN comes later! But no! Not only they never does that, but also they also don't even show any warning messages stating that you are from a banned region. I believe casinos have the most advance detection systems in the world. They can easily detect who is accessing from where and show a warning based on that!..

I just found out that my country is restricted, I want to use VPN but it is very risky, I want to explore otherworld, but when I open it my country does not support/prohibits it, I will not do anything unless my country is removed from the restricted countries

For all we know, the casino representative haven’t been active for a while, although they have a running signature campaign running which is a good one, one that shows commitment to the project and it would have been a lot better to have an active representative here to monitor this thread closely.
I guess they have other engagements to have warrant the casino representative to have not been active in weeks but even then, an active representative brings a lot to the project on the forum as well.

As per restricted countries, there isn’t much about that, it’s a jurisdiction thing.
