I was about to point this out. The idea of plagiarism is copying the content of someone else, if you are the original author, you do not have to add a link of the source when posting it somewhere else as you are the source. In some situations, it will help to include the first time it was posted, but not always.

Ban evasion is not allowed by forum rules but Cyrus launched a Second chance for forum users.

Second chances were given to some forum members by Cyrus. If OP thinks he deserves a second chance, apply in that thread and wait for review and decision of Cyrus.

Yes, you have great point on what you just said above. But I think in such scenario, both accounts on the two different platform needs to bear the same name, as a prove that those articles truly belongs you (i.e either on a teleported or created account on altcointalk). Because if you if you take a post from altcointalk to bitcointalk without proper referencing, the chance of such account been alledge for plagiarism is high, as compared to vice versa. Hence, it's advisable you always post on bitcointalk and copy such article to altcointalk. Most especially if you wrote it yourself.

It is obvious that they are using AI, both to write the first post on Bitcointalk and then to rewrite the same thing for the altcoin forum. Nobody would go through the trouble of manually rewriting such lengthy walls of text. Regardless of AI use, even if you rephrase something that essentially says the same thing, it is still plagiarism when you post it on another forum without adding anything new.

Not only that, but the other moron from Altcointalks is plagiarising AI written content, thinking he's a smartass, and on top of that, he likely has an account here already. I searched in the Altcointalks forum through his application on a signature campaign didn't find any matches with his BTC address.

I am sure that KryptoBull and Vincom are the same person but they have a different usernames on each forum. They talk about themselves in the first person in their disclaimer, referring to the post they copied as “my opinion".

You're right, I didn't notice it in the topic on Altcointalks. It's the same person. He's creating content here, for altcointalks and vise versa. He's already in a signature campaign there, so my bet is that he's trying to gather the required attention and merit so he can apply on here as well. We all know that due to Altcointalk's lower traffic, the payment from campaigns is significantly lower than on Bitcointalk. He's using AI, but it's not ChatGPT, but something more sophisticated and has the ability to reference what it's writing, one example is R Discovery.

Plagiarism is bad and no one should involve him/herself in it, i once had a big account here before and it was flagged because of spam and plagiarism, and i have actually learnt my lessons because i knew i was guilty and had accepted. I hope i attain the top and more merits in my originality journey.

I have actually been doing my best to reach out to the individual in charge to know what exactly i posted. So i have learnt lesson and never to do such again. I hope you forgive also. And also on this account i had opened it earlier before.

As long as the main source is mentioned in the topic and the poster does not claim themself as an author of that content, it is fine to post it. I remember a Legendary forum member who used to write many topics and was later accused of plagiarism. I guess there was some debate and forum fight as well.

As of now, that forum member has disappeared. He deleted most of his topics/posts before he left the forum. I assume a lot of you know about whom I am talking about.

Like other members already said and based on the knowledge I have, the forum is against plagiarism and will ban a user account if the case is really true Plagiarism and a post or content can only be regarded as Plagiarism if the OP didn't mention the source where the content came from or if the OP pretend as if the content is his original idea or knowledge meanwhile it belongs to someone else. If you state that the content is not your own, then it can not be considered as Plagerism.

Isn't copied material, no matter where, but with a link provided, we don't consider as a rule "1. No zero or low value"? What's the difference? The text is copied; the author states that it is not his text. Why not delete such posts as low-quality?

Yes it is allowed.
You can't say that something is plagiarism if original source link was posted.
Some members also have duplicate accounts in different forums and they can even post the same content without reference link, but that is not happening so often.

I've been doing the same (albeit not as often as I did in the past) and the thing I never understood is why are mods unwilling to delete those low value topics just because there are few pages of discussion.

Imho, deleting those topics even if there is a big discussion gpoing on will teach the others to stay away from them and instead replying to report them.
