I have no idea what type of AI Theymos has coded in.

I haven't noticed any memory problems in you. I looked at your behavior. It's hard to call you generous.  I can say for sure that you don't hand out merits just for. You are read each post carefully before handing out merits.

It's an old bug in system.

You probably immediately refreshed the page from where the merit was posted after sending the merit. After each page refresh, the merit will be written off from you and sent to the user whose post you liked. But your specific case also showed that the bug can behave quite unpredictably and write off merits not only for the same post.

Well basically there hasn't really been any case like that since 2009 so I think we can crown it up as impossible. However one thing that can happen though it rarely happens is for you to get demerited but I haven't seen that happen for quite long either.

Seems your memory was a little foggy. Well probably happens sometimes when you either get stressed or quite high. Nevertheless I think you have sorted it out. Also I suggest you lock this thread too.

Yeah - my short to medium term recall is affected.  (It makes programming very slow when you forget what you are debugging) When I left merit the first time, i probably did so without remembering it.
