This is typical bait thrown by exchanges, they just want to get more money from their customers, and they are not even paying reward in Bitcoin  Tongue
I don't even pay them any attention. Nah! There are times when Cexs I'm currently trading with bring such bonus packages up to make us trade more volume but I don't get moved by such. I've come to realize that most people fall to scams because of their haste and lack of depth in analysing situations. How on earth would anyone think they would get 1 BTC in bonus for anything? It's laughable. A decade ago, it was possible. In today's world, it's a red flag to promise that.

It is not smart for crypto.com if they behave like amateur exchanges. They are sponsoring stadiums and events so they are famous, they should not be luring customers with cheap false promises. Why take the risk. I would not hold money on centralised exchange because deposited coins could evaporate if the exchange is bankrupted.

This is typical bait thrown by exchanges, they just want to get more money from their customers, and they are not even paying reward in Bitcoin  Tongue
I would not send them anything and I would certainly not hold money on any centralized exchange, just for a tiny chance for winning something.

A decade ago, it was possible. In today's world, it's a red flag to promise that.

Ten years ago, I saw a giveaway. I can't recall the project that promised 5 bitcoins, and people were complaining why only 5 bitcoins, but with the current price of Bitcoin, its suspicious if a new platform offered that. its surprising that a popular exchange is doing this; this is a marketing stunt to increase users activity and trading.
I hope they announce the winner, and the winner confirmed that he indeed received 1 bitcoin to take out people's doubt.

Speaking of Crypto.com competition or giveaway, I saw this on reddit: Crypto com is making fake contests.

So it's really hard what to expect in this competition from them and we really don't know if there are real winners as they have been running this for years if I'm not mistaken. But it looks like majority thinks that this is a shady practice by them and obvious for promotion and click-bait.

Hello everyone doe's anyone use crypto.com?? I mainly use coin base and send all of my BTC and LTC and whatever else I get to my coldwallet I mainly downloaded so I can get a blue crypto.com card (not gonna spend it stupidly and go into debt will pay off whatever i take out of it blah blah im a big boy lol)

I saw that crypto.com in the app has a welcome bonus by simply trading atleast 700$ CAD within the next 30 day's has anyone else been given this chance and if so have any of you's seen a return from trading the amount requested?  Huh CoolBTCBTCBTCBTC

These things are like raffle draws where you pay to get the ticket and on the day the raffle draws is going to hold, if you're lucky you get picked but if you're not, the ticket money has gone. Definitely, you won't be the only one in competition for that amount and there'd be others who may want to donate and ensure they are selected too.
Also, like the rest have said, you're more on the losing end if you participate because what you might win May not be equal to the amount you put in for participation so instead of doing that why not put that money into another venture that would profit you more.

Don't be surprised that you will not get anything at the end of the day even if you deposited the $700. Moreover I think you should look that the terms and conditions very well before deciding to go ahead with that. Sometimes they will require you to do some sort of futures trading to qualify for the offer. What if you don't have the knowledge about futures trading? Don't allow your greed to land you into perpetual loss. You won't get anything for depositing the money just have that in mind. Even if they give you something, they will tell you, it can only be used to pay for exchange fees when you are doing futures trading.
I've always known that there's no freebies online, if it's not a scam there's always a clause somewhere that is not highlighted, it's after you meet the requirement that you'll be directed to further tasks that you didn't know that existed. I have had a few experiences that is why I'm very skeptical about bonuses and giveaways, I don't get carried away anymore. Crypto.com most probably want to increase their customer base, hence the challange, in the end I doubt that 1 BTC will be shared to every winner, perhaps some bonuses to a small percentage of perticipants that went the extra mile to satisfy their requirements, this is just my thoughts. Perticipants that wants to deposit the $700 should read between the lines of the TOS so that they won't miss any hidden details..

Crypto.com is a centralised exchange so sending the deposit is a risk. They are luring customers with cheap false promises to bait. Somebody from their boardroom had the bright idea to use 1 BTC bait in exchange for a $700 deposit. It was not smart because they come off looking desperate.
