Hello Guys
How do I find my comment or post on a particular thread? apart from going to my post stats (post history) to find it and click on the link how do I find my comment in a mega thread like the wall observer?
I tried to search my username on the search at the right corner of the forum but it gives me a reverse search that shows all my comments on the board and not a particular thread.
I'm just trying out things and this one thing I have experienced didn't work out so how do I find my post without going back each page of the thread to find it?

That search button on your right option actually does work for me; like, I just have to click and open the thread in question and then use the search button, search my username, and I will get my result, but what I always get is about 1-2 results depending on how long the comment is.

None, no feature like this aside from going to your post history and check your post one by one. If your purpose is to know who quoted your posts for a discussion i suggest you use the Telegram bot of TryninjaI tried to search my username on the search at the right corner of the forum but it gives me a reverse search that shows all my comments on the board and not a particular thread.
Forum search, aside from that its slow when using it, sometimes its not accurate or just lacking.

Maybe check my website: https://ninjastic.space/searchPut yourself on Author and the Topic ID, then press search. For example, all your posts on Wall Observer, always up to date: https://ninjastic.space/search?author=Ivystar5&topic_id=178336New much improved version coming soon too. Also, check my bot as suggested before in case you're not using it yet.

https://ninjastic.space can help with that, all you have to do is head there and search for your Board activit.. Switch to username in the key search or just do this instead Copy url : https://ninjastic.space/user/yourusername--replace "your username" with your real username Navigate to the "Speculation" on the Dashboard Section by clicking on the view. On the search params body locate the "Post -Title" input and paste " Wall Observer" in it the search, you should see all your previousposts for Wall Observer.. you can do same for other threads too ~
The creator beat me to it already

First you might need spending several minutes to read [Guide] Searching effectively.Next, you can check forum hidden pages /features.Lastly, apply what you read and learn. A direct tip for you. https://bitcointalk.org/gettopics.php?user=3581023&board=57&posts
It filters your posts with your user ID (that is 3581023), board ID of Speculation board (that is 57) and shows you a list of all posts in Speculation board where the Wall Obsever BTC thread is inside. If you only post in WO thread in Speculation board, it's cleaner, but if you post in multiple threads in that board, the list will be more messy. If you don't satisfy with it, try to use Loyce and TryNinja tools. TryNinja made a post above for you. https://loyce.club/archive/posts/Type UserID and TopicID, enter https://loyce.club/archive/members/358/3581023.html

There is only two options for this which you are already familiar with one by going through your post histories on your profile and secondly is using the search button feature to search for the post title and then you will have to keep scrolling in the thread until you find your post in there. There is absolutely no other form to that feature you seek for.

I can see that you already have been given many responses towards the question asked, try to read on them and engage the procedures, they are not hard to do, also being a newbie, I see that it may only take you some time to get used to the way the forum operates and how to set in for diverse notifications needed both the one on the telegram as already discussed and the one from your email using notify me button, I will like to drop you a useful mega threads link , where you can see many other useful information you may require to know or learn from concerning the forum, bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. Just like a couple of other users have mentioned here, you can actually make use of the telegram notifier bot with that you can track the boards that you visit the most and also you can keep watch of a thread with the bot too andin that way you get a notification anytime someone posts on that thread it's easier for you to trace it there if you don't fancy the post history here. That search button on your right option actually does work for me; like, I just have to click and open the thread in question and then use the search button, search my username, and I will get my result, but what I always get is about 1-2 results depending on how long the comment is.
It does work for me too but the thing is most newbies don't really know how to narrow their search using the forum generally search button so they end up getting more unneeded results than necessary. Ninjastic space is really good too so keep track of your post history it's one very responsive site connected to Bitcointalk too.

How do I find my comment or post on a particular thread? apart from going to my post stats (post history) to find it and click on the link how do I find my comment in a mega thread like the wall observer? Additionally, You can't this way, it is only seen through the post history as you can view from your profile, except if someone quoted that particular post elsewhere and you click on the link (quote) to redirect you back to the thread you made such post. I tried to search my username on the search at the right corner of the forum but it gives me a reverse search that shows all my comments on the board and not a particular thread.
It will display anything that has to do with your username name posts, so it's still the same saying that your name is the user who made this post, referencing both the name and the recent post made by you, which when you click on the name takes you to your profile.

I learnt this trick sometime ago but I don't really use it because it doesn't give me what I want. I simply go to Google search and type this: bitcointalk.org "zoomic" "Wall observer".
From that, I see FEW of my comments displayed. Yea I said few because only few comments pop up. I don't know what I am not doing right, maybe someone can put me through under this thread so I know why all my comments are not being displayed. This is the reason I said earlier that I don't use this method.
To save myself the stress, I just go to my profile and click on "show the last posts of this person" and I get just what I want without stress and I also get the privilege to still see all my comments.

Oh that your past method even seem to demand more stressful inputs and you know giving the internet commands on the bitcointalk by writing your forum username or thread title would only give you glance of posts which you might not be of interest to say the method gives you the offer to your research. There is no just flexible way to do this other than going through your profile in the forum and when scroll randomly based on your interested post location.

This is where the importance of using the Tryninja telegram notification bot is made necessary, you can follow up with the procedures on how to set up one, whereby you can track a thread, your own topics or even mentions and quotes made on you, all you may have to do is know how to use it and set up one, then you begin to see how they will be coming in to notify you on every section you set it on.
