Is this the case of a closed mind, or ignorance, what exactly could be this?

With the development of technology and the very easy dissemination of information today, I think it is not ignorance or a closed attitude that people have toward Bitcoin. They may know but do not study.
I speculate more that people who fall into that group have concerns about not holding or using fiat. So the assets they have are fiat that they carry for transactions anywhere. When they are given a new opinion regarding using Bitcoin as a transaction tool that can replace fiat. There will be thoughts of losing the most valuable asset they have.

With the development of Bitcoin and many people talking about it, I am still sure some people think Bitcoin is a scam. But I prefer to avoid people like that. Not because I don't want to defend or anything, Bitcoin is growing extraordinarily and I think that is enough to prove everything.

You think they don't know the truth? They do but just don't want to accept the reality because they feel it'll make them look bad. Imagine saying something isn't legitimate all this while and it turns out all you were saying was false, some people don't have the courage to come out and say they were wrong. This guy's know what they're doing and they'll stand on the word just to not satisfy us that we're in the right path.

They think they know it all but when the same people that they considering to be inferior is on the right path before them, they don't want to accept but continue to criticized the industry with hopes that it'll collapse. It could be a case of both close mind and ignorance, the web is right there for them to browse (so what's stopping them?) but they won't but keep believing in what makes them happy at night.

I think those who talk bad about cryptocurrency are either ignorant or traders. There are thousands of people in the world who are not related to cryptocurrency in any way. They basically start spreading bad words about crypto after hearing the name of cryptocurrency from someone else and hearing about its disadvantages. As a result, many ordinary people start saying the same thing. Which happened to me too. If I had not joined the forum, my misconception would never have changed.

Majority of people who criticize crypto are either ignorant or people who are filled with regrets of not using their opportunities rightly when they had it to buy at a cheaper amount.  There are tons of bitcoin critist who are now massive bitcoin holders with FOMO any potential time they have now to accumulate more. So no matter how much people criticize bitcoin, at the end they'll all come to a conclusion that is not what they taught it was. Hearing people talk about cryptocurrency as a digital asset, made me think how was this asset manufactured? It turned out David Chaum's effort to enable anonymous transactions led to the introduction of ecash, in 1990. This is an easy find, it doesn't take much look to get information.

Well, recently I started looking and correlating it with the globe being a digital village, I am still learning though.

Isn't it awesome how some crypto projects are geared towards solving real life problems. Interestingly, this space evolves. This is a clear pointer that there must be something about cryptocurrency.

Rather than read to acquire knowledge someone sits in the middle of their ignorance to declare crypto a scam. Like they were forced to accept cryptocurrency for a transaction.
I think the fear of the unknown and unwillingness to try new things got some people bound in fetters.

Now, haven carried out a few transactions successfully, I am convinced, hence my interest in this space.

Actually most  people can have the knowledge but they will choose to condemn it reason best known to them. It might be that they have the knowledge about how crypto investment works but they failed to make use of those knowledge they acquire about crypto investment properly.

Moreover, most people started this crypto journey by investing in shitcoins. probably after they most have experience alot of loses in the market at this point they will start considering crypto investment being a scam, without knowing thier differences.

This is the highest form of being dumb. It takes the brave to acknowledge their wrong and pick up on the right path. Knowing or realizing they were not correct about crypto (as they generally term it) , is a good place to start. But doing nothing but continue with the campaign of ignorance? Arrrrggghhhhh!!! Basically, those who say crypto is a scam do so because of their ignorance because basically crypto, especially bitcoin, is like our savior from inflation and bitcoin can even make us achieve financial freedom. It is undeniable that there are also many scams under the guise of crypto or altcoin which are scams, those who join and invest in these altcoins experience losses and then they consider crypto to be a scam, this happens a lot.

In my country, there are quite a lot of ponzas in the name of crypto investment or trading but in reality it is just a ponzi scheme that makes many people suffer losses and those who become victims because they are tempted by big profits. Crypto itself isn't a scam, we have series of good projects like Bitcoin, eth, Sol, XRP and so on which are perceived to solve one digital problem or the other, hence I'll not subscribe to the notion that it's a scam.

These scam activities creates a bad image for crypto, so every investor or potential investor should endeavor to research until conviction the type of project they invest into and don't allow greed to bring about their ruin.

Crypto had a different purpose when it was invented. Bitcoin had a goal, it was supposed to be your own bank and privacy money. But the purpose totally changed now. If you ask me why I use crypto, my answer is too clear. I use crypto because there is a chance to make money in crypto and there is a possibility I can double my investment. Here is the link to that thread 12 years later and people still don't know to use Bitcoin nor what it's good for. We are people who have changed the purpose and the way we use it. We have been using it in the wrong way by knowing or not knowing.

Yeah, I agree, and I already confirmed in my previous post that the original intention of investing in Bitcoin was something else. But we use it to make some money. I do it personally, and I believe a lot of other people also use Bitcoin for the same reason.

Exactly, Lack of understanding is the reason why some people continue to think bitcoin is a scam, since once someone learns about bitcoin, he will never use the phrase scam. Bitcoin has been around for a long time, and while some people use it and profit from it, others remain skeptical and say negative things about it. In my opinion, if you think bitcoin is a hoax, just forget about it because you will not succeed because you have been spoiling the coin for a long time and you cannot be patient enough to invest in bitcoin for the long run, even if you learn about it, it will be difficult for you to stick with it. Investing in Bitcoin is easier way to get profit in crypto. if you want to minimise your risk in crypto buy bitcoin and keep for long term. Sometimes elder people, victim of crypto scams or other form of scams are afraid to be in crypto anymore because they don't want to lose their hard earned money and its just okay because we know the struggle in life just to have this. Just help those who just want to learn.

Ignorant people don't criticize crypto like those who are regretting not taking action when they're supposed to. Most of them get a sense of satisfaction from badmouthing what they don't benefit from. Another reason is that most fake projects of crypto backing have seen people lose lots of money including scan investment platforms who uses wallet drainer sites to steal funds from wallets connected to it. You can't blame some of them for criticizing crypto owing to their bad experiences, but their greed always leads them to their ruin.

I don't fancy condemnation but being argued for clarification without the impose of being igbirants is very bad because when you'll still doubt even when it's being realistically proven.
Know kind of people you engages crypto discussion with because some are literally adamant to put in considerations of your opinion because at the depth of their minds, they're already trolls in the crypto market finding every reasons to criticize the digital decentralization of bitcoin and the crypto industry at large.
