You may lose hope in other cryptocurrencies but not in bitcoin.

I was thinking about cryptocurrencies this morning and I discovered the first cryptocurrency which is bitcoin be the king among other cryptocurrencies,  when you hodl bitcoin for long periods or short period of time, there is a hope of favour either small or big when you are about to sell

Yes Bitcoin is the number one of all the cryptocurrencies since it's existence and nothing can go wrong when you hold especially for a long period of time and this is because of its characteristics feature, but what can actually make people to lose hope is the fact that Bitcoin is still trying to get on with massive adoption but nevertheless it's one of the best currencies you can boast of for investing and as well trading, that's if you will be able to understand how the markets goes cause sometimes there may be markets downtime but I bet you hodling for so long would give you higher returns in the future.

When someone have proper knowledge about Bitcoin they will hardly lose confidence in it, many people that we see holding and have plan to hold for long period of time but later sell off  their Bitcoin investment along the way  just because the price is going down especially doing bear market period are those that doesn't understand how Bitcoin works. people panic not because of anything and go ahead and sell off their Bitcoin not because anything but lack of proper knowledge and that is why we need to understand Bitcoin properly before jumping into it. Proper knowledge about something is what will give person more confidence on that particular thing, some set of people are scare because they did not know what will happen later in future. But for those that have proper knowledge about Bitcoin they are less scared because they have build their confidence in bitcoin as what have been happening in past will continue happening in future.

Cryptocurrencies perhaps altcoins and shitcoin are the ones you can get tired of, not Bitcoin. In the whole of any Crypto investment, Bitcoin is the most solid kind to capitalize on, the fear of investing with hard earned sources while the cryptocurrencies are difficult to predict their success often scares away investors. Bitcoin has been profitable, historical table can be drawn on how far the progress of Bitcoin has been, since Bitcoin started evolving into more hands the price has significantly gone up, so it's difficult to presume that in coming years the price won't follow same pattern.

One thing to make clear, whatever you get from any investment, be it altcoins or Bitcoins you don't regard it as income, you make profits out of investment and income from your service rendered. What you get from your income is what you use to invest inside Bitcoin.

The cryptocurrency space is evolving daily and Bitcoin is one of the currencies that's stands with a difference with a pioneering force in the crypto industry.Other cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum,Litecoin and other new cryptocurrency alternatives but none of these surpasses the impact of Bitcoin.

So far, there's literally no need for anyone to lose hope or get disappointed in Bitcoin because the intentions of holding up to Bitcoin till now should practically be the driving force to benefits significantly from Bitcoin.Bitcoin is not just a choice, it's a plan;but implement it knowlegebly.

Bitcoin and Crytocurrencies/Alts are two different things. The evolution of Bitcoin resulted in countless number of coins that we call today cryptocurrencies or Alts. Now whats important to understand is that these Alts can't have price pattern comparable with Bitcoin. The main reason of this is that Bitcoin is the only thing that is fully decentralised and rest of tokens are not. There is a community backing Bitcoin which is developed over a period of time. Alts are just for few months while bitcoin is for long term.

Having high hope on Bitcoin which is a crypto currency is not actually safe because it's not even one hundred percent guarantee because the price fluctuate every seconds. However it's preferable to keep our hope on bitcoin and not on alt/shitcoins because those are kind of worse coins in the crypto space that one would invest money into. Moreover wanting to make money through Bitcoin investment must first become patient to hodl your crypto assets for long term so you can make a decent profit through it. A short term investment or investors are not different from crypto traders because from my observation those only hold/trade for 7 days longevity of holding/trading.

The point right now is that for many adopters, Bitcoin isn't profitable enough for their taste, so they put all their hopes  and expectations on altcoins, since they were promised such cryptos have potential to rise 100x or 1000x in price. These investors are looking for overnight profits with potential to turn 10$ into 10,000$ without any effort.

And if you try explaining them that is not how you build wealth, and that investors have to be patient and focus their plans on long term, they completely lose interest. For them, if the investment doesn't bring huge returns on short run, it doesn't worth.

As consequence, those investors keep falling for scammers, putting small amounts of money into pump dump or ponzi schemes. Meanwhile, Bitcoin brings positive results along the years, despite it doesn't fluctuating crazily anymore.

Some people have lose hope on some cryptocurrencies based on what they have experienced from them, that made them to lose hope in earning income from them, but it will be difficult to see people losing hope in bitcoin hodling because it always keep increasing in every bull season that appear which this season is an evidence of what bitcoin will display to be the king among other cryptocurrencies. the reason why they lose hope on these cryptocurrency is because they never believed bitcoin is the best to hodl, had it been they choose bitcoin first they wouldnt have the worse experience they had. it is very risky to neglect bitcoin and go for other coins that are not reliable to invest. it is lack of understanding that makes some people to lose hope in bitcoin, thinking the price of bitcoin is too high for them to invest, and they pick shitcoin to invest hoping to make good profit from it and after sometime most of these coins gets crashed in the market.

bitcoin is very profitable and safe to invest, it is a coin that is good to invest for longtime and some people lacks patience to hodl it and go for others just because they want to make money quick from it.

People didn't believe in bitcoin, so they sold it in 2011, 2014, 2017, and so on.

I think people have learned a lesson from this bull season that made bitcoin price to hit $100k which is an evidence that will make people not to be worry when they are hodling bitcoin than to have hope in their hodling, The price will definitely rise higher in 2026 because people are still expecting another price that will make people to be more confident on bitcoin.

The future is not a guarantee so it's all in our decision whether you want to take the risk or sell and back to the old centralized banking system for your payments.

Yes the future is not guarantee that you must make a reasonable income from crypto, you can use your skills towards crypto to know when to sell to take income from your hodling and still have hope on your crypto because nothing last forever in this world.

There are people who have also lost hope in Bitcoin because they entered the market with wrong impressions and misinformation; they see it as something that can give them quick profit but get disappointed by what they get. If you are a short-time holder, profit is not always guaranteed.

There are times when Bitcoin suffers a great bearish market, and if someone who is not prepared for such purchases Bitcoin and gets hit by that without knowing that it's normal for Bitcoin, they can react negatively to such market behaviour.

People that lose hope in holding their Bitcoin investment are those that lose confidence in it. Losing confidence in holding your Bitcoin investment it means that you have lost encouragement probably because you decided to be investing on your own without any community involvement because that can really help. for instance, it will be more difficult for someone who is an active member of this forum to become completely discouraged about Bitcoin than someone who is not a member of any community that talks about Bitcoin but just investing on their own personally out of their own knowledge and being their own motivation.

Well, not everyone who sold the Bitcoin they've been holding for a long time did so because they lost confidence in Bitcoin. Some people already had it in their plan that they would sell at a particular time, and some already have a particular amount of profit in mind. There are even those who sold because they needed the money for emergencies and other stuff like starting a business or paying for tuition.

Selling bitcoin is not as bad as people make it out to seem in my opinion. An investment can be used for many different reasons.

Those who sold their holdings sometimes doesn't lose hope on crypto, they just want to cut loss and gain back profit by trying to trade other coins.
We all know that alt-coins are more volatile than Bitcoin so they might use that price movement to gain more than just holding their Bitcoin.

Among other cryptocurrencies bitcoin more volatile than others, and from experienced bitcoin gives more rise than other coins, so I know quite well that bitcoin falls and a regain it's balance but other coins like altcoins can't fall and regain it fits, so why bitcoin is the most strongest coin among others cryptocurrency is because it has influenced and also has traffic from my understanding of cryptocurrency, why other altcoins when they fall it took them time to resurrect its because they don't have influenced like bitcoin. Regardless of what investment you are in, losing is always possible. Most especially for bitcoin where future cannot be certain. However, the safest option for bitcoin is through hodling it, and just decide to sell when profits are excellent, that is if bitcoin price will continue to surge high in the future. Bitcoin is different from altcoins because Bitcoin is the only the cryptocurrency that can be trusted to not disappear after some years like how many cryptocurrency has being disappearing after they're done getting all the hypes in the world form influences that were paid to hype the projects. Bitcoin isn't increasing because it's being hyped but Bitcoin is increasing because it's getting adopted by people and the government. Bitcoin price is increasing because more people are getting to accept Bitcoin to not be a scam but a currency that can be used for buying of things and it can be trusted. Losing hope in Bitcoin is going to be the worst decision to make at this point that Bitcoin is becoming a house hold name that everyone is getting to know about.

nobody is losing hope in holding bitcoin when you see an asset that keep going up every 4 year like bitcoin, you'd know that you're not gonna be losing anything by holding long term.

most of the people that I know that participate in the web3 craze mostly also invest into other coins but at the end they'd all convert it to bitcoin to increase their bitcoin holding because they see it as the real end game in cryptoworld where when it takes off, it can easily go as high as $1 million per bitcoin within a decade.

The thing is that Bitcoin is the real deal.

Any other altcoins is centralized, and was created most certainly for a person or a group of people that want to make easy money from people that want to make easy money.

It's kind of ironic, but in the end, the only people who end up earning easy money with altcoins is usually the people who started them, not the people buying it.

With Bitcoin you have a different thing, it's actually a real thing that you can use all around the world, and it is backed by miners everywhere.

You can't really go wrong with Bitcoin.

We cannot know for sure what the future holds, and there is no guarantee that Bitcoin will continue to thrive. We can build theories based on past experience and conduct analyses, but even then, our predictions will never have a 100% chance of coming true. 

Nevertheless, Bitcoin currently enjoys the highest level of trust among all cryptocurrencies, and this is not by chance. Those who didn’t believe in it 10 years ago and sold their coins now regret it. But, just like us, they didn’t know what the future would bring, which is why they made that decision. 

There is no need to be pessimistic or lose hope. The key is to believe and be patient.
