SHREK 5 being released year 2026

Well it is a favorite for me and my nephews to watch. And now Shrek 5 is being released in 2026. Ogre’s Daughter is going to be played by the actress Zendaya.

Quite shocking to see an actress of zendaya’s caliber to be playing a shrek character to be honest. As far as I can remember, Zendaya has only really played serious characters in serious films. Not much comedy done, though is spiderman considered comedic? It was quite funny at times.

Well she did play the cartoon character named Meechee in a movie called Smallfoot. And then in new Space Jame movie she was a cartoon character named Lola Bunny. But yes you are right she does not play in alot of these kinds of movies.

Man, the title is making us more older. It's the Shrek 5 but the total franchise of Shrek that has been released already are 6 movies and this Shrek 5 makes it the 7th franchise.

If Shrek is like in the trailer, it will be a failure with such graphics...

Feels like they’re really milking the franchise at this point, but hey, if it’s actually funny and not just a cash grab, I’m all for it. Zendaya as Ogre’s Daughter is a weird choice.
