Will people ever learn from "meme" coin scams? What will it take to put a stop to this madness?

Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley
Some people will never learn no matter the kind of impact you want to make in them by given them quality lesson to why they should not involve in memecoins they will always allow that greed in them which always convince them that quick money can be made out from meme coin to control them, some can only change and stop investing in meme scam coin only after they have falling victim into lot of scam that’s hard for them to recover from.
The only medium through which people could be discouraged from gambling with their funds into memecoins is when the "get profit quick" feature has been removed from memecoins. But so far as they are made to understand that there's a slim chance of making huge profit in the shortest time from it then they would never stop risking their money there, except as you said it, only when they might have lost way more then they can stomach and that's when they start avoiding it but by then they have lost funds they could have used to start with real asset that has sure potential for a ROI no matter how small the profit could be.

You and I know that their is no way that the get risk quick marketing strategy can be remove from memecoins, infact I see that as the ideology which they are using for creating such coins, without the believe and hope that anything can happen and those zeros in the back of the little value it have can be reduce and investors can be rich over night, even till date that it’s already a known fact that Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme people still rush to invest in bitcoin with that idea on every bull run new investors do rush into the market so that they can get something out of it, with such people with such way of thinking around I don’t think they will ever stop investing in memecoins.

There have been many rugpulls from "meme" coins recently. From Barron Trump's fake "meme" coin, to President Javier Milei's "meme" coin meltdown, there's been a pattern of rugpulls and scams. People turn into such coins out of pure greed without realizing the consequences of doing so. Why won't they choose Bitcoin or Ethereum instead? I can't understand why people keep falling into these schemes.
Meme coins' time was over many years ago, and I still don't think they will rise again, or else it is another big lie/scam.

I'm one of thousands of people who fell in love with these coins, and later, they cry from losing their money. That is why I don't easily forget that moment, and until now, some of my meme coins are left with zero value. Maybe newcomers didn't know this, but I have to warn them to stay away.

Bluntly speaking I have had my own fair share of investing in the wrong places although that was some years ago and I don't think I will want to cheaply make those mistakes again. I rather stay for a cycle with bitcoin where am certain of getting some returns in my hodling just within that 4 years than doing otherwise. Without experience many people wouldn't know how to take the right investment decisions and even if they see the right assets to invest in they would still have excuses not until they get burnt from the wrong places.

Or simply they are that focusing into those things on which could bring out that profit in a short term period without needing up to wait for 4 year cycle on which this will really be that resulting into this kind of approach on which it will be basing up into their preference. We do know that meme coins could give out that kind of opportunity on which could be able to multiple folds your money invested and this is one of the main reasons on why they are really that a fan when it comes to this manner because they've been that believing that they can easily do it without any issues. We do know that dealing up with meme coins could be ending up on possibly being rugged or scammed or you would be losing up money because you have bought on the peak or simply there are so much risks that you would be needing to deal up at the moment that you have decided to deal up with meme coins which is why its important that you do really know on what you've been that dealing on with so that you can be able to act out accordingly or on what are the things that you do need up.

Anybody that don't want to learn will surely be a victim as time goes on. Memecoins are not totally bad to invest but many scammers have found a fountain on memecoins projects and they keep launching rug pull projects so that they can keep making money from this project allowing people to invest in them so that they can take investors money away.
We ought to be very careful about investing in memecoins because a lot to people had fallen victim to these projects and we need to invest when we know the actual team that is behind the projects so our money does not die in them.

This is a truly uncontrollable phenomenon, the negative mindset of meme coin investors has damaged the market and even become their nest in every cycle. The reason behind this cycle continues to run even though there have been thousands of fraud schemes in meme coins but it never goes out and even the level of interest is getting worse. All caused by irresponsible influencers who are deliberately seeking profit for themselves. With no one controlling these influencers, I am sure the fraud scheme will continue, especially in the meme coin industry.
People never learn or they do it willingly by risking everything.

This madness will not stop because of investor greed; developers will keep on creating because there is a market of greedy investors.
The developers are working with market manipulators, and they create hype and FUD and investors easily fall for this hype. The only way to stop this is for investors to get educated and stop supporting these memes, and they will die a natural death.

Apparently people FOMO and there's always vulnerable newbie that will lose their money, rugpull like this has been going on for long yet people keep flocking into whatever meme coin there is I don't think they learned from past rugpull incident.
the only way to prevent this kind of thing honestly is just regulation, other field of speculations are being regulated heavily, so why these meme coin platform isn't being regulated is still beyond my knowledge.

Well, sooner or later regulators are going to get their hands into the "meme" coins industry. All to put an end to this nonsense. My guess is that they'll require "launchpads" like Pump.fun to ask for some sort of ID verification (KYC) for the creator to list his/her own "meme" coin for trading. Centralized exchanges will do the same (if they haven't done so already).

I'd hope people will come to their senses and stop falling for "meme" coin scams. At least, experienced users learned their lesson. Newbies are the ones that need to be educated. There's only one legit "meme" coin, and that is Dogecoin. The rest are just pure garbage. Just my two sats. Grin

People won’t stop getting scammed because most people in crypto space are always looking for easy way to make money, and they believe they can make that kind of money which they are aiming for in meme coin, that’s why they keep on leaving their money in meme coin.

By now people are suppose to be smart now, and they are suppose to be careful investing in meme coins, we should know by now that most people coins are just created to scam people, it’s always being hyped, and pumped, and whenever they notice that people are investing, then they will dump it on people that invested in it, that’s just why we have to be so careful.

Will people ever learn from "meme" coin scams? What will it take to put a stop to this madness?

Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley
No, people will only learn when misinformation or ignorance is no more, not just greed.
Greed are for those that knows the danger it pose in investing heavily on meme coin but still went ahead due to greed for 10x to 100x, but as for the case of misinformation, it is purely someone getting the wrong knowledge about something thinking that it's the right one, and most newbies usually falls into this category because they get the wrong information about investing in the crypto space, instead of them first doing their own proper research, they just invest with the information that they got from someone else.
Furthermore, the ignorant investors, as the names implies, they don't just know how meme coin works, they don't know that they falls more than they rise, they just invest blindly thinking to make a fortune out of it, till all this things I made mentioned, greed, misinformation and ignorance are eradicated from the industry, people will keep on falling prey to rug pull scam going on in mostly meme coin.

I can't understand why people keep falling into these schemes.

Actually it hasn't been intentional acted of those who fails into investing their funds in any of the fake coins because no one would want to lowill heir valuables but knowing that igbirants isn't an excuse, they're literally to be blamed because on different centres it's being cautioned to be careful when investing on the meme coins because the AltCoins industry is being flooded with shit and scamming projects.

This is not stopping anytime yet because people are more interested of quick rich chases than taking it slow. The meme coins being of hyping and how saturating it pumps in a  period of time has been one magnetic point that attracts the greeds.
So not until greeds flee from their minds there'll always be victim to MemeCoins.

People don't even learn from their mistakes and make the same mistakes over and over again. Neither life nor time teaches them. And no one ever learns from the mistakes of others.

Some people don't learn from other people's mistakes; they want to be the lesson themselves that other people will learn from. And another thing I think happens is high hopes when you're like, " because the first memecoin didn't work, it doesn't mean the second one won't." Just giving yourself hope that it will work, but at some point, you just have to give up on certain things.

In this economy where getting money is hard, but losing it is easy, you have to invest carefully. This is not the time to use your hard-earned money to do try and error with memecoins.  Kind advice is, if you want to just try, then you  better use money that you won't cry over. People killing themselves over memecoin investments that fail, it doesn't make sense to me. If you decide to keep trying with these meme coins, be careful.

That is not possible but the good news is that it is still possible to learn even if they still exist. I think not all those who want to earn and aware that there are huge potential in the meme coins are greedy and for those who are real greedy, I think they are now actually numb or won't care anymore about those numbers and stuffs but they are only in for the adrenaline and highs.

but as for the case of misinformation, it is purely someone getting the wrong knowledge about something thinking that it's the right one, and most newbies usually falls into this category because they get the wrong information about investing in the crypto space, instead of them first doing their own proper research, they just invest with the information that they got from someone else.
Misinformation or just laziness? It is not an excuse telling that we think someone has a better knowledge than us because what if they are only lying, right? On the part where you said rise, I think that has a double meaning and not just to profit but also to keep on improving. The second one or to keep on improving, is something that they don't wish for sure, as they know that their actions is not something that can put them there.

Of course, yes, people learn, but forget easily the signs of the previous rugpull which they've fallen victim. There is a market for rugpull victim, I guess, and developers milk from it for a long time. These people fail because others do, the hype and promises swell up their greedy self, and push them to invest again, hoping it'll work. Many of them are long term victims, although fresh investors fall for the scheme but a lot more were once dealt with by devious meme coin founders.

Actually you can really be able to avoid it if you are really just that sensible on trying out to look into others miserable situations or unfortunate conditions on which even just that making use of your own simple awareness and common sense then you do really know on whats currently happening. It is really just that you are really that trying out to experience for yourself before you would really be able to make out some realizations. Actually this is really just that a normal stuff on which a particular individual would really be that trying out to do specially if they've seen that there are some people who do become rich because of meme coin investment or trading it out, without even trying out to think about on the risks involved and the time only that they will really be stopping is on the time or moment that they do become that experiencing big loses.

You would be most likely be that having that very huge chances on ending up on holding some shit tokens into your bag, specially at the time or moment that you do bought up on the peak on which -99% situation will really be that a common happening when it comes to meme coin investment and scams. Even lets say that you do have that experience or awareness but you cant really be that perfect. The good thing on here is that you do really know at the moment that you do gain up such experience.

"Money is the root of all evil". And you can see why. As a result of greed, people fall into scams, get robbed, and continue as if nothing happened. They will keep buying "meme" coins with the hopes of striking it rich quick. It'll be up to regulators to control the surge in "meme" coins by requiring exchanges and decentralized AMMs to comply with KYC/AML rules.

Restrictions/limitations will make scammers think twice before launching their "shitcoin". I know these kinds of regulations go against crypto's principles, but keep in mind that this helps protect investors from losing it all in an instant. Otherwise, it would be total "anarchy". Hopefully, the craze will end as people shift their focus into serious cryptocurrency projects. Who knows how long will this take?

Baron Trump fake memecoin to President Javier milies meme coin were literally Ponzi schemes luring their victims with high returns. The crypto space is vast with alot of scammers launching fake memecoins to defraud people and majority of their victims are greedy people who sometimes knows the risks involved but still embark on it only to be defrauded of their hard earned money.

Before investing in any memecoins it is recommended to carryout proper research about the  coin, to know if there are authentic or not and since investing in memecoin is highly risky with no guarantee,it is considered wisely to only used your spare money to invest, invest with money you can afford to loose so incase the investments goes wrong you will able to Bear the loss.

In as much as there are  many fake memecoins fooding the vast crypto market, they're still good  and authentic memecoins worth investing but always invest wisely, use your spare money to invest as memecoins are consider highly risky due to their unstable violatility nature.
