It appears that the billionaire Arab grandmaster Turki of Saudi Arabia has organized Ring Magazine's first boxing card with King Ry vs. Rolly Romero on the main event, Devin Haney vs. Jose Ramirez and Teo Lopez vs. Arnold Barboza on May 2.

This will certainly be a very much better event for boxing than the event of the scammer Tank vs. Roach which was organized by Premier Boxing Champions. It's a good card by Turki again, and we have been talking about this fight already, Garcia vs Romero (and we thought that is what Pitbull Cruz), and then Haney vs the former unified 2 belt champion in Ramirez and then Teo Lopez the WBO champion against the interim.

And we all know that the plan was to have Ryan Garcia vs Devin Haney for the rematch, and then maybe the winner fighting Teo Lopez for the WBO. So let's see, it's about 8 weeks from now, and we have seen Ryan Garcia already started his training withe Eddy Reynoso, and for sure the Haney's too might have been in the gym already and training has started for this big fight in May.

Yes, same prediction here, we might see Ryan Garcia winning by knockout. And then Haney winning by unanimous decision against Ramirez, and it could be a boring fight. Barboza is a solid fighting, but I also see Teo bringing his best when he is facing a good and elite boxer.

I think that was Turki's plan, he wanted to take over boxing and have similar format with MMA. He wanted to have just one champion in every division, but not sure if this will sit with the organizational body such as WBC as the Sulaiman's are making money out of boxing and we all know how corrupt they are.

Definitely, what he has put up here is better than the Tank Davis vs Lamont Roach fight that ends in draw wherein majority of fans saw that Roach has done enough to win. For this fight and this fight is like $80.00?, hopefully no one will derail the plans of Turki though. I'm more concern on Devin Haney vs Ramirez, Haney might still be feeling or still mentally affected by his big lost again Ryan Garcia (although it was ruled out a NC because of Ryan testing positive for a ban substance).

All of them are really interesting fight, thanks to His Excellency for putting up this great fight card. Both of them are coming from a long layoff, Haney also didn't box after the Ryan Garcia fight. So both of them might have ring rust as well.

I'm not really sure if Rolly has what it takes to become a champion again, obviously he has lost his belt already and the one that beat him have lost it to Russell this weekend. So it just shows how Rolly was just a a one trick phony. But good for him to have somewhat live up to the hype and still earning good paycheck even if he has lost 2 out of his 4 last fight. I think King Ry vs. Rolly is just a pure entertainment. For Devin this is a solid test against Ramirez and Teo vs. Barboza is interesting too. The rich people of Saudi Arabia have so much money to burn. They certainly can make this happen. They've already made big things happen. More will come. Superstar boxers can only say no until the Saudi billionaires dangle their checks and make them smell it. They will all eventually head to the desert.

I don’t know how Rolly Romero keeps getting these opportunities because he is not good at all and I expect him to get knocked out cold. Jose Ramirez has not looked great since losing his titles and is now just a gatekeeper. Haney shouldn’t have a problem winning that fight.

Lopez vs. Barboza is the most competitive match and it will really depend on Teo’s mental state. If he is not focused, then he might get frustrated with the style of Barboza and will lose the fight.

The weight issue could be a sticking point though Haney will want it at 140 while Ryan might push for a catchweight to have the advantage. Perhaps it's because that Rolly is a good punching bag, Lol, but yeah, he was very lucky in getting this kind of opportunities. Like fighting Tank and then have a gifted win and a belt. Now he will have to face Ryan Garcia here, and even if he lost, he will have a good purse here.

^^ That's how Teo Lopez is, he runs his mouth during the promotion of the fight. And most likely this what fans wanted to see out of him.

But I do agree that Barboza is also very tough, and this should be the main card, although this 3 card can be any of the main card. So now, just imagine Devin Haney on the underdog of Ryan Garcia fight.

Surprising though that Ryan seems to be quiet on this interview and him and Rolly had just like normal face-off.

To be honest, I hate Teo Lopez back then when he fought and defeated my favorite fighter Loma but now i'm starting to like this guy and with all of his antics hehe. Barboza is undefeated in 32 fights but he has low knockout ratio so i think Teo would run into him and would not respect his power.

I'm just curious though, who you think will be the main event of this card?
