Then you'll see his supporters make excuses for all these things. They will tell you how he doesn't mean those things and how were misunderstand him. A president of a country doesn't have the luxury of saying things he doesn't mean in public, talk more of the president of the United States.

He talked about diplomacy when he was talking to President Zielinsky but this is a man that is making the United States an enemy to all her allies. Canada and other EU countries that are allies are treated as though they're less and they will react to that in the same way the US treated them. You have China making public statements that they're ready for any kind of war the US brings. So much for diplomacy.

I don't think the US would lose world power status. That is an exaggeration. Everybody in important positions in the US isn't like Trump. The fact that he's president doesn't mean he can make any decision he wants, the judiciary won't let that happen.

I think deep inside of Trump he is only trying to make America great again in a way that the authority of the US as a world power house can be felt even without it being too loud. But with the approach he Trump is going on with it is what a lot of people are up against and wondering if really his actions are helpful and actually working in the best interest of the US. But if you ask me, I see Trump as one man that has America at heart and doesn't go into deals that won't favour America first and that's why he had to make some of the few difficult decisions and policies that has made some of these questions as we have in the OP arising.

Someone that wants to make America greater that talked anyone about Obama and Biden as if they were not good leaders. Can you see what he is using. I mean 'make American great again'. Not make America greater or something. Those people's time were better. Those people respected their allies. Stocks has been crashing since 7 days now. Cryptocurrencies also suffered. On the news, they called Trump coward.

I am no American but am pretty sure that there are Americans right now who very much love what this man called Donald Trump is currently doing as President of America as much as there are those who don't. Not everyone will love the leader they have and sometimes leaders just gat to make certain difficult decisions which in the very beginning may not prompt positive outcomes but on the long run people start seeing light at the end of the tunnel.

Even the Biden and Obama's administration there were people who still criticized what they were doing at their time and it's not surprising Trump would be getting same criticism from some quarters too. We can't say the too former leaders time were better than his not until he finishes his tenure and we get to judge him by that. Trump is not even up to six months on seat so we can't be sure whose time was better or best.

I love Trump because I hope this happens under his tenure  . I am sick of the world being dependent on the United States and Europe, a unipolar world and those leaders doing whatever they want and what they think is right without regard for others. Trump is blinded by his ideology of America first, and he is reshaping the principle of American democracy by doing the opposite of what the US represents; he is betraying his longtime allies and allying with countries that used to be in conflict with US interests.
Two things that will probably happen if Trump continues with his own policy: he will be impeached or the US economy will lose in this tariff war, and yes, I agree the US could eventually lose its status as a superpower all because of Trump's behavior towards his allies.
Of course we admire him for making the market get to where it is now, and The world is watching how things will end up with Trump's new foreign policies.

But that's exactly what a some persons on this space are making it look like, as though Trump can now influence the price of bitcoin at will by what he says or does, and I think much of these is not unconnected to his infamous bitcoin reserve plan for the US. The Op perhaps might not be basically about bitcoin but it does has a glimpse.
Maybe some of us seem not to know but Trump understands that the US is standing on higher grounds in every ramifications possible than any other country it having an alliance with. Us tend to be a major financial sponsors to some of these allies and probably be reasons why Trump is cutting off from some which rather rip off from the US instead. We don't know yet exactly where this could lead but let watch.

Although I am not American (as of citizen of the USA) plus I didn't like quite a few things about Trump even before he was elected and even now I certainly prefer him to the alternative. Selling the victim mentality, impoverishing the population, setting them on a path to total control... I could make a very long list here of why the alternative was even worse.

They don’t have an army to feed as well. That made European nations the most wealthy nations in the world while the US national debt is breaking records. This is not sustainable. All these ridiculous things that you have mentioned are actually distractions. They grab the headlines and confuse everyone to what is really happening. Meanwhile he is signing executive orders that are demolishing the institutions that form the foundations of America, he is not going in with a scalpel to optimize efficiency, he is going in with a sledgehammer to destroy anyone that can stand against him in future. We have already seen all the current republicans that exist in the house and congress are weak yes men, who only got there by blindly supporting him, with few exceptions. His strategy is going to make America so much weaker - he is an old man with not long left, so doesn't really care what happens in a couple decades time.

What do you think made America this great? Do you think it is the allies they have or by the import and export trading they do with big countries, or by the loan they offer to countries who will be willing to be in debt to the US? None of the above i must say.

This is extremely inaccurate but if someone agrees (and will vote etc.) then I guess Trump can say it.  He is not a bastion of truth and accuracy, he says alot of things and if making bold later to be corrected statements was a great problem he never would have won either term on any grounds.   Trump saying stuff is not a point to argue over, he isnt going to stop no point criticizing that aspect.


My view of Trump is he is necessary.   Either you think he will mess up so bad, nobody will ever try this nonsense again or he will upset this mess of what does not currently work and do some possible good if only by accident.

 Trump is relatively brief in tenure, he is gone pretty fast is my take.  If the Republicans lose the house they are lame ducks in just a couple years from what I understand.  1 angry man saying rude things is not a reason for people to declare we are doomed, much more then that must be wrong if that could be said to be true.

You are right if it is in nominal estimate. United States has the highest GDP in the world. But if it is about purchasing power (PPP), China is the highest in the world.

Trump believes that the business mentality will always work in politics and governance of a great country like the US, but he is wrong, that may be the downfall of the US if care is not taken. Trump is putting Americans first. His ratings and approvals have increase among the Americans.

Compared with Joe Biden, he is more loved by the American people.

In terms of his economic policies, it is too early to conclude if they will pull the US away from the EU or not. He has just been there barely six months. His performance ratings can start to come in at about that time.

The US Dollar will continue to be useful for a long time to come.

By the way, whatever happened to BRICS. Nothing has been heard of their plans since Trump became the president.

I have another reason which I have thought about on why they are silent.
Some of the countries are dependent on the US for aids. And if they speak carelessly the already cut aid could be further cut that is their sanctions.
South-Africa is on the BRICS member and as at this week, the US cut aids to them. There was a video of the president of South-Africa saying some things that were not nice about the US.

yeah I also see his move as rather impulsive as well, I think he needs to rethink twice about his decision sanctioning every country he sees even the allied ones with tariff.
