I have been noticing and talking this growth trend for years... In my case, this growth is not reserved only for crypto casinos, but also for online and land-based casinos in my country. Casino advertising is everywhere, as I said, I have already written about it, their adds are even where they shouldn't be.
What places should they not be in? If it is on the internet, anyone could say that any place on the internet is free to be placed an ad on. Which is fair as long as they are not violating any rules pertaining to advertisements and marketing techniques then they can place their ad anywhere they would want it to so that they reach maximum audience.

Kid's places, especially every place that has content for children under 10 (maybe we can raise this), but definitely children under 10 should not watch and see advertisements for casinos. My children watch cartoons for young children on YouTube and in the middle of the cartoon(or more than once if it's some longer cartoon), a commercial starts, bells ring, big wins, big prizes, welcome packages... there are also famous people in those commercials. Is that okay?

There are other sites that children have access to, and if they already have access, that site shouldn't advertise just anything.

I barely see gambling ads on instagram too but since it's social media it can be used for promotion. But most times I see it on youtube when watching youtube videos and it can be annoying and then if you watch reelshots they have gambling ads a lot but gambling ads on instagram are not much I think they have strict advertising policy against it.

Gambling ads or promotion was always popping up in my social media accounts, it is being promoted more this days compared when Bitcoin was still being criticize as a scam.
Bit honestly it is a bit alarming cause it isn't just adult who use social media, all of us users would be exposed to it even those who aren't in their legal age yet, I am not talking just crypto gambling ads or promotion but all of the gambling ads and promotion that is being shared on all of the social media platforms.

Anti-advertising policies are only to a certain extent, social media accounts and networks are always flooded with such advertisements, once we are curious to search for gambling related information on social media, there will be suggested news and we can see that gambling will continuously appear on what we are watching every day. Even when it comes to just watching sports, gambling site ads can be highly recommended, difficult to prevent, and can only be maintained with awareness rather than requiring social media managers to do more.

Anyone else noticing this? I mostly just use Insta but what’s kind of funny is I never saw gambling ads until just recently and in fact, maybe two of the recent four posts I’ve found,  I found were for” dual bits” the current campaign I’m in. I thought this was really cool. I know I took a screenshot somewhere. I will have to dig it up to add to this thread but again I’ve also seen others and just curious if anyone else is seeing the same they tend?

Ads come to you based on the service you use, or those which you have searched on there. I think you were not searched for any gambling and that's why you have not seen those types of ads in front of you but when you checked it you found on there and times to time it is increasing to you and now you are seeing other gambling ads in front of you.

Unlicensed gambling sites aren't normally allowed to advertise on social media.
For instance, sites like duelbits only have a sublicense usually by Curacao. This means nothing for the rest of the world and we all know it's just there for a license to be there.

But these sites want to pay for ads and will do anything for visibility. So they pay people to create accounts and post attempts at viral content just to have their logo on there. It's a weird marketing tactic and to the consumer that is suspicious of such practices it might even work in the opposite way. For instance if I kept seeing unsolicited ads I would have thought that this place is a scam.

I appreciate everyone's participation in this chat.  I finally found the photo on my phone, the coolest part of it being the current signature campaign that I'm in, Duelbits.  I don't think this is necessarily a paid advertisement. Plenty of products/services are posted by people that aren't' necessarily purchasing them through Instagram.  Of course they aren't going to get nearly as much exposure etc, but that doesn't mean they can't hit your radar.

Some of ya'll might recognize the girl in the photo lol.

Only crypto gaming sites and casinos that are licensed and approved would pop up as ads on social media platforms. Social media platforms don't allow adverts from casinos that are not approved and registered. But I don't know about websites though, people mostly come across scam casinos on some websites because they lack proper security and monitoring. I have seen so many casinos on the internet that turned out to be a scam but the ones advertised on social media platforms are authentic, people should take note of this.

I am a little confused about whether the registered sites or not can be advertised on social media. Recently I have seen ads on social media as well as on Play Store that are scams/spam and I don't think they would have any license but they are live on social media (Facebook, Play Store, YouTube).

I think you would have to contact the platforms you mention and get an answer directly to know the real answer. I see ads all the time on Facebook for most of the Social Casinos that are popping up left and right. I know the USA is pretty strict on gambling laws so it's likely all the Social casinos are at least licensed and registered. As for the other casinos, no clue.

This is not new anymore. Most crypto casinos are now using other social media platforms to advertise their casinos. However, they don't use the most familiar social media platforms like Facebook and TikTok to do their adverts, but they use platforms with high traffic mostly crypto blog site to do their advert. The last tome i saw them on a social media platform it was a streaming site for gamers, and gamblers to stream themselves while teaching their users how to gamble and play video games.

These casino promotions are everywhere, especially on social media, where they can reach their biggest audience. As long as they don’t violate platform rules, they’ll keep popping up.

Honestly, that’s not entirely a bad thing. Their visibility actually helps educate us, since online gambling is now normalized in this digital era. It’s no longer some hidden vice; it’s out in the open, allowing us to connect with fellow gamblers and potentially learn from their experiences down the line.

This is unavoidable because gambling ads are increasingly rampant on social media and most often appear almost every day even in seconds, everyone from all walks of life and ages always opens platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok because these platforms are targeted by many people and active users who are very easy to recruit new customers who are easily involved and most of the victims of online gambling who are very easily tempted and trapped are teenagers, parents, people who are in need of money or to pay debts and also those who are experiencing financial difficulties can easily be tempted to gamble online with the lure of big bonuses and wins in the hope that it will be the solution.

Gambling ads are indeed very annoying, but this cannot be avoided because it all depends on the use of social media whether they want to open it or realize that it is not worth opening and knowing that it is a gambling ad that is not good to open. And besides that, parents also have an important role to continue to supervise or provide education about the dangers of gambling and gambling ads.

We are living in a world now on which social media is on which most people are putting up their focus on and since these companies do also made out some revenue about on ads then its no surprise that they will be approached by those gambling companies knowing the traffic is immense with these platforms on which its not shocking anymore that we might be able to see those Gambling advertisements at the time that we do scroll out on our timeline or whatever social media that you are hovering into, and as long they arent that violating something then they would be that still allowed on doing so. The only bad thing on here is that on the moment that young people who do sees up these ads might that getting influenced on which we know that gambling could really be that devastative to those who arent that matured enough or to those who arent that good when it comes to emotional aspects.

I dont see about educating since this is a leisure thing. For those who are first time on encountering these stuffs then they will be that trying out to deal up with it out of curiosity on which its normal but once things becomes excessive then this is the moment that it do become devastative and this is that very bad specially if you cant be able to control.

I dont see about educating since this is a leisure thing. For those who are first time on encountering these stuffs then they will be that trying out to deal up with it out of curiosity on which its normal but once things becomes excessive then this is the moment that it do become devastative and this is that very bad specially if you cant be able to control.

At least now people are starting to understand that gambling isn’t inherently bad, it’s just another form of entertainment, like anything else. Back when online gambling wasn’t as widespread, many were quick to judge, assuming gamblers were somehow immoral or even criminals. That false link between gambling and criminality always bothered me.

But times change. Now, with social media and even influencers normalizing it, society is finally seeing gambling for what it is: a mainstream activity. And with responsible gambling being heavily promoted, people are learning the truth that casinos are designed to profit, while we’re just there to spend.

As long as we don't think of beating the system, we'll be fine.

I see casino adverts on social media all the time, it is not a new trend and most of us are used to it, I think that it is a good thing for the awareness of gambling so everybody can see that gambling is not awful. The perception of gambling before now was that it is something for irresponsible and lazy people but now we see celebrities and athletes on gambling adverts and more people are enticed to try gambling. People relate to what they see and gambling adverts are everywhere making more people to be aware of it, making the gambling industry to grow.

People need to understand that gambling is completely normalized now, especially with online access eliminating the need for physical casinos. You can gamble discreetly, with no one even knowing. The surge in gambling ads only proves its growing mainstream acceptance. Like it or not, society needs to recognize this as a standard part of modern life.

I've seen this severally and it thought of making a post about it as well, but then, I felt like people already know this and it's not strange anymore in their eyes. Well, the reason this is important is about a thread I read few months ago on this board -- where an OP explained why social media platforms don't support gambling ADs or something related to that (I can't recall exactly what the point was).

I saw this twice on Facebook, then once on Insta. But the shocking thing about this is that it always involves this same Casino - duel bits. What kind of collaboration could that be if I may ask?

Must be algorithms or region based issue. I don't use too much instagram, but i have never seen gambling ads in there.

Only places i have encoutered gambling, is printed ads on shirts, walls and floor on live matches. In internet it's mostly bitcointalk and some android games that are free if you watch ads, but even those ads aren't real gambling. They are all about simulated gambling where you can "earn" a little, if you overwork yourself by loading games, playing them and clicking ads. I am thinking it must be because of ad restrictions in this area.
