I am afraid that you are mixing this up. Bitcoin does not lose value, it is fiat that losses value. 1BTC = 1BTC but that cannot be said about our naira that loses value so fast because of inflation.
I also read where other people said so above, it will look like bitcoin loses value when you measure it with fiat. I used to think that bitcoin loses money until I read one book that exposed me to the truth.
