Is it possible to arrange the boards under posts filters in a more logical way, something similar as you had in the old Ninjastic.Space?
Right now, they are all over the place. It lists the Russian local, then goes to Project Development. After that we have the French local followed by Mining and a few lines below Chinese Students followed by what I assume is a Russian child board.

I am sure this can be arranged in the same way as the forum looks with all its boards from top to bottom.

Can you add searching of members with ID numbers?
For example your ID is 557798 and it is visible in NinjasticBeta profile page, but nothing comes up if I enter this number in user search field.
I guess that number shown next to the username in search field is total number of posts including deleted.

Another small suggestion is to make Ninjasitc logo clickable, and that should open main page.

The number next to the username is posts on the database, yes.

Logo is now clickable.


Also new: The header shows up when scrolling so you can quickly make changes to the search params.



And added the "Quotes to this post" tab to archived posts (see which posts quoted that post). For example: https://beta.ninjastic.space/post/65202792/quotes

I also prefer searching the userID instead of the username. Numbers are easier and it saves having to copy/paste "complex" names.

Would you be fine with searching the user id and getting the matching username?

I think showing the username is okay. But: I notice it starts searching at the first character I type. If someone is searching for "userID 3", it should probably not show a million results.

Right, it would normally return both The Pharmacist and The Sceptical Chymist.

I just pushed an update and now you can also search with the user id, returning the most recent username (in this case, The Sceptical Chymist). If you search for The Pharmacist, it leads you to the same ID page where you can see the data for that user regardless of any name change: https://beta.ninjastic.space/user/id/487418



And it only searchs after you type 3 or more characters to limit a bit the results.

What about board exclusions during searches. Could I exclude the Altcoin and Off-topic boards for example from my searches for certain keywords?
Another thing I thought of. Could you add an option to save search filters? For instance, I want the site to display results for a specific search content on a specific board and for a given timeframe? Could I save that filter for easier access in the future, so I don't always have to configure the search filters from scratch?

That could also be applied to the merits and quotes filters.

The last time I checked the site, the drop down button wasn't working properly, tried pressing it several times but non responsive for some reason (I forgot to tell you that), and I had to turn on the "desktop site" to able to see the home, search, users prompt.

Btw, the design, the UI, and the interface everything looks top notch. I must admit, you pulled up some impressive work out there...

I like the new user interface. It seems very similar to Bitcointalk and therefore feels more familiar to me when I am navigating the new Ninjastic.

but I noticed that unlike in the old version, there seems to not be an option for when you would like to visit the original source on Bitcointalk and not just an archived copy of a post, for example.

Edit: nevermind, just found the "open post" button. Although there seem to be two different buttons which are both labeled "open post"? One opens an onsite version of the post (which I find unnecessary because the post was already shown in its entirety and there is no need to see it in an isolated view) and the second one leads to the Bitcointalk source link.

The two buttons aren't the same and they are also labelled differently. The button that takes you to the Bitcointalk post has an arrow in the top right corner and is labelled 'open post'. The other button looks like a jar to me. It takes you to the achieved thread on Ninjastic Space where that post is made. It's labelled 'open archived topic'. Unless you are talking about something else.

Now, add the same filter on the home page in the category: "Most active topics" 



Another idea:
On the user page, there may also be a scroll bar, similar to the one at the top of the homepage, with the latest posts in which that user was mentioned. Kind of similar to what happens in your Telegram bot.
More interesting would be to make an audible signal when a mention occurs. It would be a way to notify the user who is on the PC. Of course, the sound signal can only be active if it is indicated by the user.

You are using a newer laptop and operating system than I am. I don't think it's your laptop that is causing it. I am on Windows 10 on this machine, btw. I took one of the latest posts that appear at the top of Ninjastic Space and made two screenshots of what I see when I hover over those two buttons. The visible text is exactly as I mentioned earlier. My apologies for the ugly way I cut the images.

One of the reasons is to easily find members when they are changing their usernames.
You don't have to do it if that is creating complications with posts and other things on website.

Now working on the user merits page. Lots to be done, but first features are live.

Shows who the user merited the most and who has merited him the most, all merit txs, and can filter by date range + click a user on the bar chart to filter all txs related to him (i.e all merits by LoyceV to/from TryNinja on the selected period).

Will soon do boards filtering and charts.

Big update!

I've added post edited versions. This post, for example: https://beta.ninjastic.space/post/65237800/versions

Now every new post will be scraped at least three times: first when posted, then after 5 minutes, and a third time after 30 minutes. I also added the possibility to rescrape a post when needed, and a "rescrape now" button is planned real soon (it's 3 am, so enough for today). I'm still thinking, but I might add more scheduled rescrapes for all posts (i.e rescrape every post *again* after 7 days).

- Every post now has a list of changes (new content, new title, deleted). A diff will be shown with added text shown as green and removed text shown as red (wip).
- When searching posts, posts that were deleted or have been edited will be indicated on the results (click to open versions tab).

Soon you'll also be able to include the content of the all post versions on your searches. This means finding posts with words that were only included on a later edit!

Also made countless smaller improvements everywhere.

Amazing update, congratulations.
I find this very useful, especially for those who are OPs of dynamic topics that are updated over time.

When this button comes into effect, I'll have the extra work of going there every time I edit the TalkImg topic.
