@OP, what you are referring to as not being patient and losing or profits isn't what makes you a bad trader, but that's a normal thing, and it happens to everyone. As long as you are ending up getting some profit, either quickly or after some time, you are good as a trader, even if your trades go against you initially. Buying a coin at a point, and then seeing it go down from there and regretting that you could get a lower value if you were patient is a wrong mindset to have because you would never be able to perfectly time the market, and there will always be such times where you will either buy early or sell early and then the market will either go down further or go higher than where you sold.

However, you need to understand that being impatient means buying a coin, seeing it drop further, and panic selling by thinking that you are going to lose more money if it goes down more. If you have waited for it to go down, and then waited for the market to recover so that you could sell it in profit, you are already patient enough. As a trader we will not be able to know for sure the lowest price or the highest price, when the market will change direction, and in my opinion if you have made a profit even though it is small, it is the result of patience because when you consider patience by waiting for a higher price to sell it, you may lose the opportunity to make a profit because you think it is not the highest price and continue to wait patiently but the price has moved in the opposite direction but think again that it is just a correction to bounce higher.
