No matter where we invest it is better to check everything before investing because it depends on the individual's own wishes in terms of investment. But bitcoin has become popular in several countries and many institutions are accepting bitcoin which can be more convenient in some cases than fiat currency. Fiat savings give low returns, while bitcoin savings can give high returns bitcoin is good for long term investment governments usually ask for savings in fiat currency for their own interests. Bitcoin is always a good currency for investment it has no effect on anything but the value of fiat currency can decrease if the central bank prints excess money which usually causes inflation.

Investment and savings are 2 different things even though in terms of context it may be the same as being in bitcoin but when talking about savings it is certain that it cannot be equated with investment because after all these are 2 different things in terms of goals.

Savings we already know that in the end this allows it to be flexible in the sense that it can be used as a source of needs even in the short term but sometimes things like this cannot be equated with investment because after all there is a longer goal and it is not as flexible to be taken because the goal is not to secure value but also to develop value in a profit so that in this case I am quite happy with it. So in this case I quite agree when we are in bitcoin as an investment because after all this is a good thing especially done with the long term but it will be different when we are here said to be savings because obviously we cannot save when it is risky so it would be better to make this an investment not a savings.

One can do that if he feels comfortable in this market as well as he is a strong believer of this currency. Without strong belief,  it is hard to invest as you will always feel agitated about your funds. Do remember, if it is hard-earned money, it will be devastating to lose it in an uncertain investments.
Before going into this market, make sure you have good grasp about crypto market particularly bitcoin. Because if you are well-versed with btc market, I believe, it won't be hard for you to acquiant yourself with alt markets.

I'm doing exactly this . although BTC is fluctuative, but these days big fiat like USD, EUR also has its risk, with current ongoing tariff policy and economic turmoil, I think every fiat in the world has underlying risk as well of losing its value within just 5 years. so since fiat which supposedly being depicted as stable has the risk anyway, I just converted them to bitcoin though still have some cash in my hand.

but I think it's pretty solid plan to hedge against inflation and the fact that M2 money supply just keep growing rapidly, it's no brainer choice for me.

Unlike altcoins, bitcoin will always recover from every drop no matter how big the drop is but the problem is we cannot determine exactly when bitcoin will recover and bounce back. That could take days, months or even years. So, saving in bitcoin is not perfect and also has certain risks, and whether saving in bitcoin instead of fiat is beneficial or not will depend on the purpose of saving. If those savings are for a purpose in the near future, in case of an emergency, saving in bitcoin is not a good idea.

Even though we believe that Bitcoin is the right asset as a hedge against inflation because of its limited amount and its increasing value over time, we cannot put all our money in Bitcoin. We need to understand that there are risks that Bitcoin has where we as holders must understand the risks. So when we put our money in Bitcoin, it means we also need to think about emergency funds or savings, and also money that we are ready to use whenever we need it, so that the Bitcoin we have is only a long-term investment in our portfolio.

Can you imagine the faces of those people who bought Bitcoin at around $95k? What will they tell you now? I don't think they will be pleasant words and wishes to you. Therefore, it is not always possible to make a profit if the price of an asset has fallen. The trend can be very protracted.

Just recently I saw a video where a girl and her boyfriend were crying because they lost more than $100k in a few hours. They will have to sell their only home to pay off the debts they took from the bank to buy Bitcoin.

Well you have pointed out an throughful perspective of yours studying the market before buy is crucial before buying any coin including btc, purchasing btc during  the dip has historical been profitable strategy to use and also holding onto btc as form of savings can be viable strategy, especially giving it some potential for long term growth

Im a PRO Bitcoin person but whether we do like it or not on which people do still highly believe in fiat. Come to think that whenever someone do invest with Bitcoin then it will always be that trying to check or look for its fiat value and on the moment that they do hit up that right profit or preferred earning then they would definitely be that making up some exchangers into fiat on which you can say that people are really that highly relying on it and this is the truth and cant be changed. People wont really be that confident on putting up all of their assets on which they do know that it do fluctuates. For sure they would really be having that words that it doesnt matter if paper fiat will really be losing its value over time? Come to imagine that the % or said decrease is just small on which it wont be affecting them on major move whenever it do happens.

We do have our own approach towards Bitcoin or crypto investment on which it will really be that understandable that people will really be that accumulating and longing for making profits. This isnt something that would be putting up into their mind that will be replacing it with fiat on which it would really be rather the opposite. indeed fiat money is always subject to inflation and of course if we save money in the long term of course its value will decrease, but by buying bitcoin it will certainly make us lucky in the future because the price of bitcoin will continue to rise in the future and certainly the more money we use to buy btc then the greater the profit will be.

I see nothing wrong in investing in Bitcoin, but at the same time, I hope this "fight against inflation" will not put many of you in trouble, if not well planned. I've heard many who said you should buy Bitcoin even if it at above $100,000, I continue to sense trouble for those people because the future of Bitcoin is often exaggerated, no one has been there before and with the way all those events that were supposed to push Bitcoin high are dwindling, the asset is set to face the test of loyalty that will determine its next phase.

Yeah you are right, for example we can't save our backup funds which are emergency, reserve and float funds in Bitcoin because of the volatile nature of Bitcoin this kind of funds are to be saved in fiat if you save this funds in Bitcoin you may get into a big problem the only money you should save or investment in Bitcoin is your discretionary income and if you are saving or investing your money in Bitcoin make sure you are ready to hold it for a very long term if you are doing it just for a short period of time you may lose your money for example you decide to save $500 in Bitcoin and you wanted to sell it off in 2 months time and use it for something serious and during that 2 months time there was a dip in Bitcoin that your $500 may reduce to $400 or $450 depending on the dip and it will affect you, so I will advise you should not save money you want to use in a very short time in Bitcoin so as to avoid getting into problem but if is money you want to save for 5 to 10 years then it is very much advisable to save it in Bitcoin Because it will bring you a good profit than saving it in bank.
