I updated to the latest version of simplex and did a RESTART again, and after the last step I received a response from the bot, so I think it will work now. I didn't receive any notifications yesterday.

I can confirm that everything with bot is fixed and it's working fine for me now. SimplexChat is making very frequent updates, and I also found that out that things don't always work correctly if I don't update to the latest version. Update: I've updated the bot to the newest SimpleX version. The contact address has been updated to the new, easier, format: https://smp6.simplex.im/a#vRbBr1kLHsvYbX13LLG0qCS0LRlNHJg570UmfGqAOyg I've made some changes to the bot, so please let me know if you have any issues.  |

Thanks TryNinja for another update. Do we need to add the new SimpleX contact or we can stay on the same if we already joined before? I didn't notice any issues so far, but I don't know what you changed and what to expect  |

New users can use the new address to add the bot. I rewrote some code so the bot is more stable, so you won't notice any new features but hopefully fewer missed notifications.  |

BUMP Anyone still using the SimpleX bot? I downloaded the app once, but to be honest I didn’t really like the style, and besides, not many people were using it. That said, I have to admit your bot worked well, but that was months ago and I haven’t used it since. Telegram’s much better by my standards. It’s a shame because the app deserves better and is, unfortunately, not very well known. |

BUMP Anyone still using the SimpleX bot? Unfortunately NO! I used to use it in the past, but due to "slow sync", "delayed notifications" and the most annoying one "data curruption", I stopped using it. Not once not twice but several times I faced this situation. The backup file wouldn't just work/load, and even if it did, part of it gets corrupted, so sending and receiving gets messed up. So no, I don't use the bot on SimpleX. Telegram is the only less painful option for me now... The bot isn't the problem, but simpleX itself was. |

BUMP Anyone still using the SimpleX bot? I wish I had found out about this simpleX bot sooner. I tried to connect with the bot, but I have yet to be accepted by my contact request. I tried a few times by clearing the contact, and still nothing works. I used the link from the OP to connect and I am on the Windows version. Edit: Almost 24 hours gone, no sign of contact accepted.  |

Anyone still using the SimpleX bot? More people will have to use it when they continue banning telegram (and VPN services) in more countries around the world. SimpleX is much better for privacy and you can use it without phone number, email or similar registration methods. |

Hi, I’m not getting any response from the bot. I’m using version 6.5.5.
I am having the same issue after I updated my SimpleX chat. I sent request again but I am not getting any reply from bot, and I can't write any messages. Just out of curisity, I installed SimpleX today, followed the given instructions on how to set it up and sent the contact request accordingly but the bot isn't accepting it. Note that, it's already been a few minutes, but no response from the bots side. Still on, Pending.  Edit: Still unable to sent any message to the bot... |
