I believe luck happens but not just by chance, you have to set yourself up or out for the luck. First you have to play or try your luck before you can talk about luck. Again, some times in certain games like football betting, you won't just bet randomly without "proper " analysis and expect luck to hit you. Yes, believing in luck is a way to avoid unnecessary stress for yourself. If you rely only on luck when you lose or win in gambling, your self-esteem may be damaged or it may affect your surroundings in such a way that you may become lazy. Experience is very important in poker because poker is not a completely random game of chance. Therefore, one should not rely on the fact that experience will help to find some kind of "luck algorithms" in gambling. Always put up into your mind that when dealing up with something whether on gambling or some decisions in life on which it does give out whether a positive or negative result then it will really be needing up that luck, and knowing on when luck happens? I disagree with you. Except for some shoes, most gambling is largely dependent on luck. Slot machines, Roulette and Lottery are dependent on luck. Here, how experienced we are is not a fact. So I cannot agree with you that we blame luck for losing in gambling just for peace of mind.
